Cute little running shop with a lot of socks and a limited selection of other gear and clothing. Found what I needed though!

I went today and I was completely taken back. I am an inexperienced runner. I chose to go out of my way to a running store to get a pair of sneakers that would be a good fit for me. The 1 man working at the store knew absolutely nothing about the shoes and was not able to offer me any advise. Choosing blindly I picked about 10 pairs of shoes I liked and literally only 1 of them were available in my size, an 8.5. I would have been better off going ANYWHERE else. If you are going to have a running store with little to no inventory, at least employ someone who can help the customers.

Be wary of this place if you’re not an expert on running shoes! This place was unpleasant from the get-go. And we’re talking mainly the service. Both men who were at the shop were really arrogant and unfriendly. When I asked them whether or not the pair that I was looking at was good for people who over pronate, they said that the shoe was fine. The shoe was a neutral shoe with no ankle support!(Basically, not the right shoe for me!) What a bunch of quacks!

I love this little boutique running store! I go here for all my running shoes. Their products are the best… Brooks, Mizuno, etc. The staff is always super helpful and attentive. I love supporting this local spot and I recommend you do the same instead of going to a grandiose generic sports store.

11 Runners just opened in the 1050 Brickell building, sandwiched between a couple of restaurants in a sort of tiny little space that is easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. We have desperately needed a running store in this neighborhood so I was stoked to notice it one day when I was walking to Roberto Giordano a few doors down. As a devotee of minimalist and forefoot running, I was even more excited to find that they carry Newtons. A lot of running stores don’t, on general principle, which is their prerogative but kind of bums me out since I hate hate hate spending money at a major corporate retailer instead of a local business. Anyway, today I went in and tried to buy a pair of new running shoes, but they didn’t have the ones I wanted in my size. The woman who helped me took my phone number and promised to call me when their shipment came in that afternoon or, at the latest, the very next day. I’m used to really bad customer service in Miami – all talk, no results – so I didn’t take her very seriously and decided to go to another running store in South Beach. But she called me as I was getting ready to go and told me my shoes had arrived. So I went and bought them, along with some padded socks, and am looking forward to taking them on my long run tomorrow morning. This promises to be a fine addition to Brickell and I hope the many runners in the neighborhood will take the time to stop by and check it out. I know I’ll be back the next time I need gear for a race or the road. Recommended.
