My 15 minutes of fame didn’t last long, but I’m sure glad I had access to the Flagship Lounge on my most recent visit to the arena. This place oozes VIP and the service is great. At one point I expected to be addressed by my first name(or my stage name). I was only here briefly before the Romeo Santos concert. We visited the lounge to grab a quick bite and something to drink. Access to the lounge allowed us to skip the long lines happening somewhere above us on the main level, and gave us premium seating at the bar. The bartender gave us a dinner menu right away and started working on my not-so-sweet lemon drop… just how I like it. Between the empanadas($ 17) and the lemon drop(make it a double for $ 22), our bill tallied up quick – but does it really matter when you’re sitting comfortably, no crowds, no lines, and no hustle? I dig it! The best part of the whole experience was leaving the arena through the floor level access to the lounge. We looped around the crowds of people going upstairs to exit and simply left through a quiet door that led right to the parking garage. A few minutes later and I was sitting in my car ready to go. Easy exit!

OMG this place just made my Miami Heat Game experience even better. The food at the bar was exquisite To bad it’s a VIP lounge. My friend gave me floor tickets that included access to this lounge so I probably won’t be back for a while. But if I ever get VIP seats again you know I’ll be there. Great food and service !

Although meant to be a private restaurant/bar/lounge, this ultra VIP flagship lounge is great. You park under the arena and enter through your own private entrance. No waiting outside in the elements in long lines. You enter right into the lounge where you have a private sit down restaurant, as opposed to concessions food where you stand on line with no place to sit. You’re greeted by the host(or hostess) and offered a table. This place just underwent a complete renovation. Not just a new coat of paint and new carpet, we are talking gutted and redesigned. But it looks great. Tv’s everywhere, a booth with a window that looks into the hallway for the locker room. The food is pretty good but pricy. $ 29 for a burger and fries. $ 40 for Chilean sea bass. They also have a buffet which on our night was $ 85 per person, but was well worth it. Buffet had celebrity chef Ralph Pagano. I love his restaurant, Alba seaside Italian up in Sunny Isles. His food was on point as expected. They have different restaurants and celeb chefs in and out doing their buffets. Drinks are pricy too, but you’re at a basketball game in Miami in the most private area of the place. Outside this lounge(the north lounge) is the locker room for the home team and the visitors. There is another lounge on the south side of the arena, just depends on where your seats are. And the seats, they were 5th row center court. They don’t even have section numbers. Our tickets just say FSN. If you ever get the chance to pick up these seats on stubhub or ticket exchange or tickets USA, I strongly suggest treating yourself at least once. You’ll probably end up seeing a celebrity, a sports star, or some super executive or lawyer you’ve only seen on tv or in the papers. For now I’ll stick to buying tickets here and there, until things are going well enough to spend that kind of money for a season ticket package.

I was fortunate to get 3rd row premium tickets to a Heat game recently, which by themselves are absolutely spectacular… but what blew me away the most were the little wristbands that came with our VIP seats… these paper wristbands with the words«grey goose lounge» printed on them, give you access to the AA Flagship lounges. Where or what was this? the guy sitting besides me suggested I go there instead of buying drinks at the normal vendor above the 100 level… he says«its much closer and you DON’T want to mingle with the minions» …secretly of course i myself am somewhat of a minion… I decided to follow his suggestion anyway and go to the«flagship» “how do i get there?” i asked the ticket attendant, he points right at center court and says«in between the teams benches, where the players exit» at this point I was astonished, 3rd row was as close as I’ve ever been, but now I’m walking towards the locker rooms? I walked behind the players benches where I could literally touch Carlos Boozer’s head if he had been sitting down. I made my way towards the center court gate and walked down the path as if I had just been ejected from the game for cursing the referee. The secured locker room entrance on my left, a luxurious rest room entrance on my right, and in front a gentleman holding the door open for me to enter the AA Flagship Lounge which also has a small room called the Grey Goose lounge… flat screens, beautiful people, a restaurant, and a full bar. I did not know this existed at all, for years I thought VIP meant the box seats and Dewar’s level… I was wrong. Everywhere in the arena is expensive, even more so when you enter the Dewar’s clubhouse or AA flagship lounge, but the experience of being in this setting is priceless, you can’t put a price on the exclusivity. I have no problem paying 8 bucks for a beer when Venus Williams is sitting at the same bar just one chair over!
