ABC Moving

Worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. My mother in law doesn’t speak English well. So they quoted her a very low rate over the phone, she scheduled the move and when they showed up (the day she was supposed to move out) they doubled the estimate and she signed it (what was she going to do?) So then these guys take their time and get about ²⁄₃ of the move done and insist on getting paid cash at that point and told us it would be another 200 over the already doubled estimate. When we didn’t give them the cash at 3:30 when they got to the other place (they were under agreement until 5:30) they stopped work, started calling us names like «a-​hole» and called the cops. By the way, their payment term wasn’t in the agreement either. So they sit in the truck for an hour for the cops to get there. I told the cops (and I told them) we were willing to pay what the contract says but that we didn’t want to pay excess, especially because they stopped work. So there is nothing the cops could do for us, we paid them and they left our stuff in the middle of the parking lot. Of course, they left the heaviest furniture downstairs for us to move. WORST MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
