If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having a bee colony on or near your home, these are the guys to call. I had a bee colony for a few months under a gazebo in our back yard. I kept holding off because we had the same problem years before and it cost us a chunk of change to have the bees killed. That last time the company I used did not remove the hive so the bees came back and they came back with a vengeance. When one of our dogs got stung I decided it was time to get these bees out and quick. I called Adkins on recommendation of a friend. I left them a message and they called me back within an hour with a low to high end estimate. They were the third estimate I got and I booked them immediately. Their price was very fair considering the work it entailed. I spoke to them on Monday and the guys came over on Friday. I watched them do their magical work of taking apart the gazebo floor and removing all the bees and honeycombs. Within an hour or so they were done. They were very professional and the price was right. They offer a 1 year warranty on their service if the bees come back which is great. It makes me comfortable knowing they are that confident in their work that they offer that warranty. I highly recommend these guys.

Although not, strictly speaking, a local company (their home base is in North Port, FL), they service the entire southern ²⁄₃ of the state of Florida, and when I discovered a feral bee colony had decided to nest in the sprinkler control box in the ground in my backyard on a Wednesday afternoon, they were able to schedule an appointment for that Friday.
James, the removal specialist, was professional and detail oriented, and also took the time to explain things to us, how he completed the job, and the steps he took to ensure that the bees didn’t try to colonize that spot again.
Not that I ever HOPE to use their services again, but if I do, I know I’ll give them a call.
