Love this place. Have been coming for years and bought several small items from them. Sad they had to close down the Bayside store, but the main art museum is a real gem to visit. Could spend hours in here. However, this brings me to my ONLY thumbs down about this place, which is regarding one of the current employees. She does not speak English well, is only interested in entertaining fellow Spanish-​speakers and not considerate towards potential buyers. Case in point, the first time I visited the new location in Wynwood less than 2 months ago, she was working there with another younger female employee (who IS friendly and helpful), and practically chased me and my friends out of there because she «wanted to go home.» !!! I politely said we were just making last minute decisions on a purchase and we came a long way to get here, and thought they closed an hour later. I know people want to go home after being at work, but show some consideration for buyers who are making a purchase for heaven’s sake. We weren’t trying to hold them hostage for another 2 hours, as she was making it out to be. She even went as far as to tell me «I drive all the way here from Deerfield beach –or maybe she said Delray, can’t remember– and I need to go!» — UNBELIEVABLE. NO consideration towards customers and I had a pinch of buyers remorse when we left since she was so unpleasant. I hope she gets fired, honestly due to her total lack of skill in customer service. I’d gladly take her place and NOT chase people out the door. We were the ONLY customers they’d had all day, by the way (as per when I asked the other younger female employee). SMH. That woman is lucky she gets paid to be lazy at work.
