Barefish Sushi

I wish I could give extra credit stars! Barefish catered my daughters birthday– and they were incredible. The sushi was delicious. The menu was also tailored to our tastes. Extremely easy to deal with. On time, clean and professional. I was so pleasantly surprised.
I had no idea how the party would turn out, and the chefs went above and beyond expectations.

So, I wanted to treat my friends to a chef-​cooked dinner in our Miami rental house — a celebratory way to kick off a girls’ weekend away. I googled «private chef in Miami» and found myself reading incredible reviews of Barefish Sushi. I was not looking for a sushi dinner per se, but when I saw so many glowing reviews, suddenly it seemed to be the perfect idea. I reached out to them and they responded immediately with menu ideas and pricing. I was in. This family team that is Barefish Sushi is phenomenal! Fantastic chefs, great personailities, funny, friendly, smart, interesting. They made the evening a smashing success. The sushi dinner was the best any of us had ever had. We were so pleased that we decided to hire them for the rest of the weekend! They came up with different dinner menus on the fly for the following two nights — one Israeli dinner and one Brazilian dinner. Ridiculously delicious and creative menus cooked in our not so perfect rental house kitchen and presented beautifully. I cannot reccomend Barfefish Sushi highly enough. I wish they were in NYC so we could have them cook for us all the time!

My group of girlfriends hired Barefish for the first night of our Miami vacation rental so we wouldn’t have to worry about shopping and cooking. Wow. Delicious food. Lovely folks. And we didn’t have to worry about thing. We loved it so much, we decided that very night to have them each dinner for the rest of the weekend. Why go out? They came up with wonderful menus for us (middle eastern, brazilian) and were one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous night these talented sushi chefs provided, all in the intimate setting of a party at a private home. The offerings were incredible — super-​fresh and innovative, with an artful presentation. From spicy scallop ceviche to melt-​in-​your-​mouth hamachi, everything was special. I would highly recommend Barefish Sushi to anyone looking for a personalized, TASTY, sushi party in their home.

I didn’t think you could get high quality sushi delivered to your home in Miami having tried many times and always being disappointed. Just when I decided to give up on ever tasting the sushi I was accustomed to after 20years of living in Los Angeles I found Barefish Sushi. The mixture of creativity and clean flavors of the sushi could be tasted from the first to last bite. Wow! I called them the day before and told them what I love and they delivered as promised.
A no brainer for those who want to taste the real thing.

So here’s the concept — you are having a get-​together of friends at home, a party, a celebration or just another excuse for entertaining. Barefish Sushi chefs come to your home (or other party venue), bringing their super high-​quality, amazingly fresh fish, their sushi knifes and their skills. You and your guests drive the menu — they make the sushi. Simple right? So why has no-​one else been doing this? I was lucky enough to be at a party with Barefish last night and to be honest it wasn’t the concept that knocked me out — but the quality. This is up there with the very best sushi spots in South Beach. The soft-​shell crab creations were unbelievable. The rolls were spot on and the scallop ceviche an unexpected but very welcome surprise. I can’t recommend Barefish highly enough. Top quality sushi, innovative fusion touches, skilled and friendly chefs and a great night all round. And the price doesn’t sound bad at all for the quality of ingredients they offer.

I went to a party where these personal chefs wowed all of us (and our discriminating tastebuds). As someone who has had Nobu several times, I can say this is equal too or exceeds what I have long thought was the best sushi I would ever have. And to have the presentation with friends as we did is worthy of a repeat.
