The food was good, but the service was extremely slow. I was there 30 minutes before I even received my beverage. Waitress got my kid all excited about pizza dough she was going to bring him to play with then never brought it. Again the food was not bad, but the server was soooooo sloooooowwwwww! I would not return due to the super slow waitress. The prices are not cheap so I think they could do better with the service.

A Good Neighborhood Restaurant, gone South Our family has been to Brio in the Falls, many times over the last year, since we moved near the Falls area. Unfortunately we won’t be going back. We had always found the restaurant to be above-average quality and quantity of food, and the service was always pretty good. Also, the ambiance for a family was nice, with outdoor seating. Our last visit, we noticed that the calamari came and was a much smaller portion then we had remembered. My wife and I commented on it, but we didn’t think much of it and enjoyed the appetizer over a couple of glasses of wine suggested by the young waiter who attended us. I mentioned to my wife that I was thinking of having the chicken with quinoa salad. She said she had had it before, and remembered it was a very large portion so we decided to share since we ordered calamari. The waiter was nice enough to say that he would have it split in the kitchen, and bring it separately since we are sharing. When it arrived, my wife noticed that hers looked fairly thin and when she flipped it over it literally looked like a turkey slice, because of how thin it was. She called the waiter over to see what they could do about it, and the waiter apologized and said that he would get a manager to see what could be done. We waited several minutes, before a very young manager came to attend us. It didn’t seem that she had been told of why she was being called, or if she did she certainly acted as if she didn’t and asked what she could do for us. My wife went ahead and explained what she had already explained to the waiter, to the manager. She was very indifferent about it, and simply said that they sliced the chicken in half since we were sharing and that if we remembered the portion being larger before we may have just gotten lucky and gotten a large piece of chicken the last time we had ordered that meal. There was no attempt made by her, whatsoever, to apologize or try to see if she made the customer feel like she would do whatever it took or SOMETHING to rectify the matter or at least make the customer feel as if she cared. To the waiter’s defense, he was more apologetic than the manager was, and he later came back and said that he was able to get us 20% off our bill for the troubles. We thanked him, paid our bill and both my wife and I agreed that we would probably not be going back to the restaurant in the future. With so many places to choose from and as hard as we work for our money we find it a difficult pill to swallow to go to a place where the staff doesn’t understand that you’re going for an experience and not simply a meal. To go to a restaurant and spend $ 100 or more and be made to wait and start having the restaurant skimp on portions and then have a manager treat you as if they are doing you a favor by serving you, does not merit a return visit. Brio restaurant used to be one of our regular places but we will be looking for other places to frequent that understand what customers are looking for.

I am a fan of a la vodka and I had one of the best versions I ever had. The pasta was stuffed with cheese and the sauce was a little spicy and very tasty. The sour dough bread was very good and worth the calories. My waitress was very attentive so I was pleased with the service. If I come back to Miami I will definitely return

We missed the bar’s happy hour(til 7pm) but our waitress advised that bottles of wine were $ 5 off. Vegans and dieters were easily accommodated-this isn’t the type of place where everything is slathered in heavy tomato sauce. I had the Shrimp Mediterranean(spicy grilled jumbo shrimp, orzo, farro, broccoli, asparagus, grape tomatoes, spinach, Feta, cilantro pesto vinaigrette 16.95) and it was excellent. The desserts LOOKED great, but we skipped them.

The food we had was delicious! Try the sample bruschetta, the one with bacon was the best! I don’t give it a 5 star because the service was not great, we waited a while before we got our drinks and the bread. But over all, it was worth the wait!

Let me start by saying this was my first time here & I loved it. I went for their happy hour during a weekday and fell in love with their happy hour food pricing. Not only was it an affordable meal but extremely delicious ! My first time anywhere I have high expectations and this place didn’t fall short of that. Maynel & Lionel attended my friend and I(as we sat at the bar) and they were amazing ! The service was excellent. It is because of them I will return. They helped each other out and worked as a team. Not once did we have to wait on them for anything. Again great food, great service and great ambiance.

I have known this place existed forever but never had cause to go there. Walked into a two hour wait at samurai across the street and decided to leave and made a quick reservation at brio(they do. Can’t share all my secrets). We were seated within 10 minutes. Walk ins on a Saturday night waited 1 ½ hours. Yikes. The people were waiting which gave me high hopes that the place was worth it. We requested to sit on the outside patio but, there was a significant wait for that so we elected to sit inside. Ambience is nice. A little loud but pretty. There was a nice calamari appetizer and then grilled salmon and asparagus sprinkled with balsamic. In a word — outstanding. Light and flavorful. Reminiscent of a meal we would have eaten in the Mediterranean. Service was efficient and with the exception of the bread, expeditious. Why with an exception to the bread, you may ask. Well, it appears the bread was being delivered by management. We watched every table in our section receive a bread basket — even the people sat much later then we were. Our food came. Still no bread. Were we being punished, or punked? No. Just forgotten about. We got some eventually. And it was good(or we were starving– one or the other). As we left I noticed it was raining and all of the patio people were now squished under a small awning so they didn’t get wet. I had to laugh out loud a little.

Hmmm… the one star is for the service… from the hostess to the waitress — good service. Waitress was patient with my children as they finalized menu selections. The wait for food was a bit long. but we were chatting and reading so no complaints. Nice bread basket to nibble on with our drinks. Food arrived — with hair. So the one star is for the service and the bread basket. We decided to leave the food and the hair on the table. Tipped the waitress for her service — she didn’t make the food! Manager tried to fix it(again, good service) but, you can’t fix hair in food… you just have to leave it and walk away. Never to return. I hope the host/servers/manager find another restaurant that will provide quality food.

Awesome Italian spot at the falls alertt lolol! This place is awesome the ambiance was great with inside and outside dinning and a spacious bar with TVs to watch your favorite games. We were seated inside and and our server came quickly with the menus and also was very helpful on dishes that we can try. We ended up ordering a house Cabernet that was great. Everyone ordered seafood platters. The fettuccine with lobster and shrimp was divine the sauce was everything. I ordered the lobster and shrimp Ravioli that was in a red sauce that was creamy and divine. My friend ordered the mushroom ravioli and was also in a sauce that did it justice. Last but not least salmon salad was grilled to perfection in a tossed salad sooo yummy. This place was awesome cant wait to come back again.

Overall it was great. Ambiance was nice, service was great, and food came out pretty fast. The food itself was not amazing, but it’s pretty good nonetheless. Brio is a nice place to go to celebrate a special day or date.

Brio has one of the best Happy Hour menus in town. The appetizers are at $ 4 and drinks are $ 5. Though I have been there several times for happy hour I have never stayed for dinner and decided to try it out on a Sunday evening. This is also the first time we sat outside since it is always warm and making February the perfect time of the year to enjoy the sofas and fireplace. The food is pretty good and I ordered what I always do. The flat bread and shrimp scampi along with a bottle of Pelegrino and of course, the bread. Service was quite slow since there was only two waiters attending the outside area and slammed with people. All of the tables were full so we got lucky when we we seated on a large comfy sofa outside. Waiter apologized for the delay and he was trying his best, but too much time went by before came around to get our order. Brio gave us a free desert to compensate for the long wait. I like this place and will come back especially for the happy hour menu.

This is probably the best tuscan Italian food that I’ve been to. This location is great and the staff is friendly and very approachable. They have a long wine collection and amazing appetizers and the pasta they have is delicious.

Love coming here. Brio is close to home located on the outskirts of The Falls. I’m never disappointed although parking can be a bitch. You always have the parking garage or valet parking as another option. The décor in here is beautiful with high ceilings. Tables have white table cloths and a paper lining for spills I guess. Upon entering you see the hostess stand and the bar area. Restaurant seating is all around with a clear view of the kitchen. The staff is always helpful and attentive, definite plus for me. The bread and flatbread with butter that they bring complimentary is delish and full of flavor and nice and warm. I never really have to much luck with pasta but I was definitely in the mood this evening. I’ve ordered a spicy type chicken pasta in the past which is truly tasteful but on this night I was feeling pasta and seafood. So I ordered the shrimp and lobster fettuccine, the server also offered more cheese topping and I happily obliged. My little sister had a steak with veggies(I believe the name on the menu was Filetto Di Manzo Toscano) she ordered it medium rare and she said it was delish, first time she tried a steak that way. I ordered a tea that came with two different flavor options, was real hot, delish, and loved the flavor. The server was a doll who always kept our glasses full and didn’t mind us talking away even after paying the bill. My sister and I each ordered dessert(yes, it was my birthday on Monday so I believe the whole month I should be treated with treats, lol) I ordered a simple crème brûlée which wasn’t simple at all. It had such a rich, delicate, soft flavor with strawberries on top and my little sister ordered something that looked like a chocolate molten lava cake. she devoured it and didn’t even offer me a spoonful. Fair game though cause I ate all of mine and didn’t even offer her a bite. I would definitely recommend everyone to try this spot, as I said, not a lot of luck with pasta but I have no complaints here. Everything is full of flavor and plates are always full so trust me you’ll definitely leave with a doggie bag for lunch the next day.

There are two types of Italian food/restaurants. «Authentic» Italian And«American» Italian. This place is authentic Italian, not a bunch of pasta under a bunch a red sauce. Our tables favorite was the lamb chops I ordered. Cooked perfectly seasoned well. Another highlight was the bruschetta sampler. Really a great appetizer for a bunch of people. The shrimp dish my mother ordered was delicious but too spicy for her.

I’ve been to Brio a handful of times. One time I went the food was so bad none of us would eat it. Recently my Mom said the food improved and has been asking me to go back. On a Thursday night I was feeling adventurous so I went to meet my Mom and grandparents at Brio. When the waiter, Jason, realized that I had arrived with my two-year-old daughter, just one or two minutes later, he showed at our table with a high chair and a cup with lid for her. He got her in good spirits so he was off to a good start with me at least. My Mom had already ordered a pitcher of some type of cocktail, so I asked for a glass so that I could try it. Meanwhile, I tried the spinach dip which is very cheesy but one of the worst I’ve had at chain restaurants and it comes with some crispy cracker things that aren’t very good. Jason brought me a glass but unfortunately it had lipstick stains on it so I wasn’t willing to use it. I ordered a Caprese salad for my meal. When it arrived I opened a new napkin with silverware to find that one of the forks had food crusted on it. Twice in one night with dirty dishes means to me that someone isn’t cleaning them well. As for the Caprese salad, it was good and tasted fresh. There were fresh salad leaves on top too. For my daughter I ordered the chicken finger kids’ meal. It came with French fries and a cup of fruit. The chicken fingers were heavily breaded with a cakey batter so I wouldn’t order those again. The fries similarly were not very appealing. I thought it was great that the fruit salad came with grapes already cut in halves to avoid choking. It also had blueberries and pineapple but she didn’t like the pineapple so she set it aside. After the meal, having seen that my daughter likes Frozen, he bought his phone to show her photos of drawings he had done of the characters. They were great drawings and he did a great job helping to keep my daughter at the table a few extra minutes that way. Basically, in my recent experience the food was better than previous times I’ve been there and the service from Jason was excellent. Unfortunately, the silverware and glassware is dirty and I’ve had some other experiences where the food wasn’t even edible, so maybe it isn’t consistent or maybe it is under new management but hopefully it continues to improve like my most recent experience. By the way, Jason told us that he’s expecting a new baby boy any day now. If you go to Brio, ask for him and tell him congratulations!

Brio is a great Italian restaurant with a very extensive menu. Anything and everything you can think of they have on their menu. from pasta to salads to healthy grilled options(which I love). They also had multiple types of bruschetta to chose from. We chose the bacon with fig jam… such a good choice! It was both sweet and salty with a little spiciness as well. I chose the grilled chicken for my entrée(one of the healthy options) which was delicious. It came with quinoa, roasted peppers, and a pesto vinaigrette. They also had no problems with us splitting our entrees. The service was spectacular! Everyone from our hostess to our waiter to the manager himself who came by and introduced himself provided 5 star service and attention to our table. If you like Pinot Grigio, their house bottle is FANTASTIC! Also the bread plate they bring is very good as well. I wish this restaurant were closer to my house!
