Delicious Mediterranean! The platters are filling and delicious! I Love their falafel wraps!

They need to open another location, perhaps in Doral! It’d be a great lunch spot. I had a steak shawarma and loved it. Too bad it’s so far from me :(service was good, staff was very friendly! Place could use a face lift…

The food is very delicious and one of my favorite dish is the Shawerma sandwich(gyro), but the service is terrible. I have been waiting for my Sandwhich and 2(already made) kibes for almost 30 minutes now… This food typically doesn’t take this long.

This place is a hidden gem. Prices are so low for the amount of food I ordered 2 plates thinking that it was small but nope. And so tasty. You can also BYOB

The food is always so fresh here. The prices are very affordable for the quality you’re getting. The staff is also very nice. They were about to close and they went out of their way to make me a fresh tabouli salad which takes a while but they seemed very happy to do it. Love this place

Before I forget, here’s a Pita Grill pro-tip. I’ve ordered to-go and their portions seems to be much larger than when you dine in. Pita Grill is one of the few remaining Mediterranean spots in my hood. Alhambra was once the shining beacon of all things Middle Eastern for me, but when it closed I started visiting this place more. Is it fancy? Not at all. Is it delicious? Hell yes. You’re basically dining in a sectioned off portion of a market, but no matter. It’s worth it. Their food tastes incredibly fresh and homemade, and if you get the itch to try to recreate some of the dishes at home you can walk a few steps over to the market section and take some stuff home. The only thing I’ve mastered is hummus, but maybe one day I’ll move on to Falafels. Highly recommend this spot.

Lunch time is a very special time at Pita grill especially if your hungry lol! My boyfriend called me up and said lets go eat some Mediterranean food. They conveniently have parking right in front of the store just for pita grill customers. The owner is very nice and is always their. The food is amazing but a little pricey but well worth it. I order the chicken kabob platter that comes with angel hair rice, house salad, and fresh hummus with there amazing yummy flat bread $ 10.00. My boyfriend orders the same but his platter comes with two chicken kabobs for an additional price of $ 3.00. The food is amazing and they have inside and outside dinning(limited) with a tv inside. They also have a mini grocery store that sells alot of Mediterranean spices and specialty drinks.

Decided to eat here because flannigans had a long wait. Glad I did. Food here is delicious. I had the beef shawarma and a side of French fries. Even my 11month old liked the food :) The owner and staff were very pleasant. If your ever in the area looking for a Greek spot this is it!

So i decided I wanted to try something new for lunch and came here. I ordered the kafta kabob platter and I was definitely enjoying my food until I picked up a tomato and saw a dead fly looking at me. It’s a shame, this place had so much potential.

I will go again since this has been the best falafel I’ve experienced in a very long time, and maybe in the U.S. at all. Totally decent mediterranean fare in an unassuming space next to Home Depot and Flannigans. I had the veg platter which I thoroughly enjoyed and consisted of hummus, salad, pilaf and my falafel. It came with pita for the table and a tiny tahini dip for my scrumptious fried chickpea/parsley balls. But the falafel was moist and delectable even without it. My meat eating friends agreed the kofta(mixture of ground beef and lamb) was superior to both the lamb and the souvlaki, but we were all curious about the french fries. When I go back I’ll try the falafels as a wrap with their fries and maybe try one of the weird Greek sodas in the back. Will repeat soon.

Disappointed and the only reason I actually stayed was because I was hungry after going to the gym. The Kibbeh had no flavor I felt as though eating just ground meat with a fried outer shell and that is not how a Kibbeh should taste. The chicken was had more fat than actual meat. The pita bread was cold. The service was mediocre. Had to ask for my ginger ale I ordered when there was only 3 tables including myself. The lady who brought the food did not smile and literally spoke not a single word to me. It is sad since I had a great experience before seems like I’ll be heading to other Mediterranean Places for my food.

Food– delcious Staff– friendly and welcoming Customer service– great Ambience– not so great I like going to a restaurant and feeling like I am at one. I don’t like the bright lighting and the cafeteria feel Pita Grill has. I know it’s a casual dining restaurant but dim the lights a bit. My gyro was delicious. The other two people I was with ordered the Kibbeh platter and the chicken platter. I tried both and both were exquisite. The hummus is a must! Food came out rather quickly. I wanted baklava, but the dessert case(just like a bakery one) looked like it hadn’t been refilled in a while. Kinda grossed me out but others seemed to be enjoying their desserts :)

Shawarma was dry yet delicious. Chicken kabob was flavorful, tender and delicious. Rice was good. Salad was also good. Hummus was delicious. Restaurant was clean. There’s a small market towards the back of the dining room.

Pita Grill was a very mixed experience. The food was pretty good across the board. We had the cheese appetizer, the beef shawarma platter, the Kafka platter and the kibbeh platter. The shawarma was a bit dry and just ok, but everything else especially the Kibbeh was great! The big issue was service. Our waitress spoke no English and was obviously very new. She didn’t know the menu except to reference the numbers on the big menu on the wall behind me which I couldn’t see. This lead to a lot of confusion at first. She didn’t know what a diet coke was which is kind of odd. Overall I would come back if I was in the mood for some really good kibbeh.

What can I say? This place is great! The service is very friendly and spot on, just like the food. I’ve been here already twice and can’t wait to go back. The pita wraps are pretty amazing– it depends on what you’re craving. I’ve tried the chicken wrap and beef wrap. They really pay attention to detail. The falafel is pretty great, too!

I have been coming to Pita Grill for many years now and have always enjoyed their food very much. Guaranteed, anything you order will taste really delicious! Such good food! However, their customer service… not so great. I went in recently and ordered a chicken kabob platter. There was one other couple waiting for their meal which came out in about 10 minutes. I sat around waiting for over 30 minutes when the restaurant was literally empty with just the couple and myself. There were 4 women«working», but in reality they were just standing around talking and not doing much of «customer service». Didn’t ask me how I was doing, didn’t let me know that my food would be out soon. I think one of them looked over at me and finally realized they had forgotten about me before they made my food. I’m not one to complain, so I just waited patiently. However, I came here thinking it would be a quick bite and it wasn’t. I will definitely think twice before coming back here again. If you don’t want to deal with the wait time I suggest you call ahead and order take out because at the end of the day their food is REALLYDAMNGOOD!

The cost is a bit high for lunch(there are more affordable places in area for similar food) but this is a good place to try, nonetheless. Very fresh and yummy. The wraps are amazing and full of flavor. I recommend it. If you make your own combo cost is about $ 14.
