I gave this place 1 star because of a bad customer service I experienced on Thursday 1÷28÷16. This place usually is nice place to get something quick to eat in the mornings. On this particular day, I was standing there for almost 10 minutes without a single hello & I will be there asap. Now, the lady that was making the coffee was gossiping like crazy with two customers. She is looking right at me waiting until I ask her if I can get some service over here. She tells me that she is with a customer at the moment. Really? So I told her that all she is doing is gossiping while the customers drank her coffee. During the time u were chatting away wasting my time she could have helped me get my things. So she gave me an attitude. Well so sad they lost a regular customer thanks to this unpleasant woman. Great job!!!

Quick and easy little bakery for a good price. Opens up pretty early so that’s good. They have good croqueta’s there.

My husband and I went to this bakery because we had a craving for pastelitos. We initially went to our favorite bakery but the line was too long so we left. We decided to give this place a chance. I agree with the previous customers’ negative reviews. The lady that took our order was rude and had no personality. She continued to rush us through our order. Needless to say she received no tip from us. The prices are expensive compared to other bakeries nearby. You can tell right off the bat that this place has not been cleaned in years. The floor was disgusting and the counter was messy and dirty. Yuck! The pastellitos and croquetas were good however we will not be returning any time soon. Horrible customer service and too expensive compared to other bakeries.:(

I always buy my Cuban bread and pastries from Casa Potin Bakery on SW8th street and 132nd Ave. in Miami. My family and I lover their Cuban bread so much that every time we have a party or get together we have to include their Cuban bread with food we serve. However, last time I went there a couple of months ago I found their bread and pastelitos were not the same. Today I figured I would give them another chance and I stopped in to buy a Cuban bread and two pastries, all for $ 5.00. What a waste of my money and time. The bread leaves a bitter after taste on the palate for a long time. I cannot imagine what flour they may be using, or if they changed bakers and this one has a different recipe and uses some other ingredient that gives off this strange flavor. The guava pastries I bought were not good and were too greasy. I will not be going back… now to find another bakery with decent Cuban bread!!!

Best Pastelitos in Miami! Every time I come home to Miami, I make sure to stop by this place and get guayaba, guayaba con queso and a plain queso pastelito. The orange juice is fresh and amazing. The croquettas are perfect and savoury.
