Regency Cleaners

I’ve been taking clothes to this cleaners for the past 15 years to be cleaned as well as for alterations. Last week I left my son’s jeans to have them altered because they were too long. As soon as I got home my son tried them on and they were still long on him. I immediately drove back and the owner said I would have to bring them the following day along with the jeans I had left as a sample as the alterations lady had left for the day. She left at 3 pm and I had just missed her. I explained that my son would be leaving Miami January 3 and with the upcoming new year’s holiday there wouldn’t be time. He was very unsympathetic and told me he couldn’t do anything about it. I asked him if I could leave the jeans there so that the lady could take care of this first thing in the morning. He flat out refused and was quite nasty. All the workers there have known me for years and no one came to my defense.
I was charged $ 10 for nothing! Needless to say, I’ll be taking my clothes elsewhere, there are plenty of dry cleaners in my area.

I just took a blouse that has a leather strap on the shoulder to this cleaner, and specifically told them to DRY CLEAN ONLY, but the following day I get a call from them telling me that there was a little problem with the blouse. A little problem? It was totally ruined. The owner told me that the blouse was mislabeled because the leather stained the blouse and that I should take it back to the store. Really??? The leather appeared darker on one side as if it was wet. There is no way that it was Dry cleaned since I have another blouse from the same brand that I took to another cleaner and it was fine. The owner refused to take any responsibility stating that it was the store’s fault for selling such a product. And all of this, after another incident in which they shrank a pair of pants that should had been dry cleaned as well. I never waste my time writing reviews but if you are in the business of offering specific services stating that you are good at it, then you better take responsibility for it.
