Chilis Restaurant

Hadn’t been to Bayside in ages. I mean YEARS! Chili’s flavors and menu is pretty consistent throughout so we decided that we really had nothing to lose. However, this location was dirty and cramped with very poor service and hot, tiny, disgusting bathrooms. I love Chili’s. They’ve been around since my high school days and have felt you can never go wrong for a quick inexpensive bite to eat. That being said, this location leaves MUCH to be desired and I would definitely look elsewhere next time I’m at Bayside (probably in the next 8 years!)

Must have changed since previous reviews because my experience was fantastic here. Got the $ 35 dinner for two deal and our server, Charlie, was amazing. I’m sure the double Margaritas helped my overall experience, but at 4 bucks a pop you can’t go wrong. The manager even swung by to check in on us in a timely fashion. GET THE OREO DESERT.

Slow slow slow slow slow. Go somewhere else for drinks and food. We almost left before we finally got a beer, and I wish we would have.

I love Chillis. Lots. This one, not so much. The food is delicious as always and delectable! The wait staff… horrid. We sat in the bar area and our server, an older gentleman, was super abrasive. I ordered spinach artichoke dip and he told me I must have not been there for a while because they’ve gotten rid of it. Why would you make a customer feel stupid like that? Like no, I don’t work at Chillis so I didn’t know. Thanks douche. Our drinks never got refilled, either. He basically sucked and I’ll go to a different franchise next time. Nice chips and sauce — try the guacamole. Gets too crowded on weekends, but staff try their best to keep good service!

This Chili’s location is great if you want a nice view while at Bayside without breaking your wallet, but besides that, don’t expect much else.
My friends and I decided to come here since we were in the area already, and we were pretty hungry. As soon as we walked in, the staff was friendly and quickly took care of us. Our waitress was extremely nice, attentive, and charismatic. That is the main reason I am not giving this place 1 star.
We all ordered the chicken and steak fajitas, hoping that would fill us up. Although the food was warm and ready fast, we were so surprised when we saw the amount of meat that we were given. We each got about 3 very small pieces of chicken and 3 very small pieces of steak, and the rest was peppers and onions. I spent in total $ 19 between the fajitas and a soda, and I definitely did not eat $ 19 worth of food; it felt more like a snack than a meal. The food was completely overpriced.
The bathrooms also smelled quite disgusting, so they definitely need to take care of that.

I have never stiffed anyone in my life but tonight was terrible. The bathrooms were disgusting, someone must’ve brushed their hair into the sink because hair was everywhere. I ordered the mango chicken and it arrived with a long black hair in it. Server barely apologized before I got a replacement. All of the femAle servers had an attitude and when my check came they charged me full price for everything, save your money and eat somewhere else.

The view is amazing! The food was ok and the staff seemed to all hate their lives there but the view was cool :-)

This place gets a lot of nasty reviews but it isn’t that bad. Yes the wait was long but now they text you when the table is ready. My friends and I had a great waitress who was funny. The good was good but the quesadilla was a tad dry. Tourist trap like everywhere in bayside but it honestly isn’t awful!

Came here because we just needed a quick bite and wanted an easy choice, nothing new or local. I cannot believe how bad the service was. Seriously– the hostess was the most unpleasant person, and seated us at a dirty table. The waiter finally greeted us, took our order and never came back until after we ate our food. Had to take ketchup from another table and get napkins at the bar. Waiter must have smoked pot before his shift, because that was what his behavior indicated. Let the manager know how I felt before leaving and I’m pretty sure he wasn’t surprised.

This place has the worst service I have ever experienced at a Chili’s restaurant! Took forever to be seated because the hostess skipped us then once seated I had to flash down a waiter after being seated for more than 15 minutes before anyone ever came to our table. I hope the food is better than the service, I sit here and wait eager to see.

Had to wait for table, although many are available. Slow to get seated, slow service, place was very dirty, greasy tables and floors. Food is below grade, under and overcooked. I really do not know how the restaurant manager keeps his/​her job.
Will not be back!

Miami has bad service… THIS IS REALLY BAD (even for Miami) … Sitting at the bar with an empty drink and no food while 3 lady bartenders have a convo about someone in the staff. Bad language can be heard across bar. While two managers walk around the bar not noticing anything. This location is on the same track as the coconut grove location… THEY WILL GET SHUT DOWN if they don’t tighten up.

Dirtiest Chili’s I have ever seen. Hostess didn’t welcome us while 2 other customers were complaining for waiting too long. We sat at the bar and only ordered dessert and they took 45min and our lava molton cake that had no lava. Not coming back!

They have bad staff!!!

This was the worst experience… I ordered the steak fajitas. after 25min of waiting I’m told they don’t have any steak, and do I want something else… why does it take 25 to realize you don’t have steak. Then the manager comes and offers another kind of steak which was below mediocre but st this point I’m so hungry I just ate it. I eat at chili’s all the time and have never had such a experience. I’m leaving now feeling disappointed and still hungry. Don’t bother with this place…

I actually expected more but as you can tell based on all the reviews this place is horrible!!! I went with my husband and son. We waited about 20 mins to be seated considering they says two couples before is that got there after us made me upset already.
After my long wait (it was pretty empty) we got seated only to wait another 15 mins with not even a «hello» or a «give me a minute». We got up and left. Needless to say no one noticed.

I think Unilocal should find a way to give half stars or no stars at all. It’s ridiculous how I have to give a star just to write something on here. We came to have lunch here after being up since 8 am scouting for boats and sailing courses that we had payed packages. We hadn’t eaten anything and we just wanted to grab a quick bite and continue scouting the marina. We had other choices with so many restaurants but Chillis has good choices and good cheap drinks. I had already spend a lot of money on the sailing courses and we had recently bought a new grill for the boat so I didn’t want to have dinner and leave the rest if my wallet with the check.
We were seated in the outside and the view was breathtaking overlooking all the millionaire catamarans and monorail. Unfortunately the view didn’t lady too long before I decided that were just going to fine in as long as we received better service. Our server out sided was very undesirable. She was speaking loud and was interacting with other table water on a loud just I cultured manner. It took her 15 min to come to our table, every time she passed by she told us to wait a little longer because she had too many other things to do. When she came to actually talk to us, she was spitting as she spoke and her long dreaded hair was just getting all over the place, extremely undesirable.
I usually love to have a good time, get spoil with good service and I definitely want who ever is with me to have a good time as well. The hostess told the manager that we we’re bring relocated to sit inside due to poor service, he sat us inside in a nice booth and got us a new service. Everything was smooth sailing from there but regardless, it doesn’t take away the time wasted and the bad experienced my friend had to endure, also the manager didn’t seem concern or try to see why was there even a problem to begin with. I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again, Chillis are like rats in a sewer, there’s one in almost every corner of the city so this one sucking is not my concern. I just hope that someone’s sees this from the company and tried to clean out all the undesirables that give this place all the negative reviews it deserves.

Chilis is one of those restaurants that I truly enjoy and can’t imagine without. This location however is bad. The outside deck floors (where we were seated) were extremely slippery. My mom almost fell on two occasions.
It took 15+ minutes for our waitress to show up and take our order. Took another 15 minute for our drinks to finally come out and when our food shows… one of our 5 meals is a «No Show», so we waited even longer to eat together.
Appetizers and food were what was expected (no issues there). Something I didn’t appreciate was the 18% tip that was put on our bill. No way would I tip 18% for the service that was offered.
After meal was over I head to restroom to wash my hands and yet again I was disappointed. There were no paper towels to dry hands.
Sorry Chili’s but this location needs help.

I love me some Chilis but this branch is all kinds of wrong. The service is painfully slow, the drinks watered down, the tables are sticky, and the utensils are dirty. I understand they stay busy given all the tourists but I recommend people to stay away from this location.
