Breakfast is serve early so if you want to leave early and get early breakfast, come here.
The waitress were extremely good on what they are doing.
French toast was good, it was serve hot so its definitely the type of breakfast I want.

Oh my dear chuck wagon. You hold a special place in my heart. Your food is average but the nostalgia is extraordinary. The servers, owners and his family are the reason we love eating here. Good old-​fashioned food that will make your belly full. Biscuits and gravy, club sandwich, coleslaw, pancakes, and potatoes are on point.

Are you kidding me? 4 star average?! To be honest, this may be an adventure in fine dining for some reviewers, but this is the sort of place that gives greasy spoons a bad name.
I’m giving 2 stars as a generous gesture. The place is sticky from the floors, to the table cloths, to the grimy bathroom doors. Goodness sakes, at least paint and clean the place. I appreciate a patina on antiques, but prefer my restaurants to have surfaces that can at least be cleaned.
Me to server, «Is the corned beef hash canned or homemade?» server [rolling eyes] «canned, but nobody ever complains.» I figured I’d let her continue to live in a dream world and do my complaining on here. Hormel or generic canned corned beef it was nasty. Eggs tasted a bit «off» biscuits were just ok as was gravy.
I can’t emphasize how low on the diner pecking order I would put this place. Service wasn’t terrible. I’ll never come back here though. $ 15.00 for 2 eggs, barely warm chunked potatoes, canned hashed Browns, coffee biscuits (out of a bag from somewhere) and gravy. Ugh!

Nothing special ! Basic breakfast menu with no thrills. Classic American breakfast menu with below average taste. Eggs are lukewarm at best and meat also lukewarm. Service is slow and choppy. Juice weather it’s apple or orange taste like its Minute Maid store bought. Not heading back here ! The Wagon has left the station !

I really liked this place! Came with some family members for the first time, honestly the food tastes so much like it was made at home and very fresh. The service is really good too and the price is not bad. I would like to come here as I had a pleasant experience.

It appears you really have to enjoy this restaurant for what it is, which is a no-​frills, southern, rustic diner with the intention of filling you up with large quantities of food, without too much of a concern for health or quality. That being said, I suppose it fits the bill.
We went with the grand slam breakfasts for the table and an order of blueberry pancakes to share. Although everything was relatively ok, I wasn’t wowed by anything in particular. It’s all very simple, straightforward fare done on a single cooktop. The bacon was flimsy which was a bit of a disappointment, and everything was underseasoned.
To be honest, I don’t know that I would return or recommend this place to anyone else. But I suppose it would be great for college students looking for a huge, cheap meal after a long night of partying.

Great atmosphere, food and service! Love the place. You gotta come and try it for you’re self !

If you’re a white person with a taste for greasy American crap — come here! No sophistication at all. No originality. But pancakes with chocolate are good good.

Best chocolate chip pancakes in Miami!!! Definitely try the eggs benedict on a biscuit drenched in sausage gravy. Its just wow!

Oldschool Florida diner. The breakfast was great, the coffee was diner coffee, it was as you expect. Lots of butter and taste :) The prices are reasonable, and the décor is rather aged, mostly Miami Dolphins from the Marino era.

The food is very homey. I had the grand slam it brought everything. Definitely have the coffee it is really good and biscuits and gravy.

Good place for an old southern breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! I ordered the eggs Benedict but they were nothing to really brag about. The hollandaise sauce didn’t seem very fresh. I had a side of grits with cheese that were okay but I probably wouldn’t order it again. My hubby ordered the eggs with a smoked sausage. The eggs were cooked perfectly but he ended up leaving the sausage after taking one bite because it was way too salty.
The service was mediocre. Our waitress didn’t seem very happy to be working that day.
I’d probably go back to get an order of the biscuits and gravy and try the pancakes.

My mom and I both ordered omelettes and I have no complaints. Generally I’m not a huge fan of how restaurants prepare omelettes (I usually find that they are over cooked). But that was not the case today. Really good meal. And the waitress was extremely friendly and attentive.

Always hits the spot when it’s too painful to make breakfast. Good ol’ fashioned greasy (in a good way) breakfast — whether it’s a country fried steak and eggs or an egg sandwich– I am never disappointed. Good and fast service.

A good go-​to place when craving a no frills American breakfast. I love my Cuban breakfasts, but sometimes I need pancakes & biscuits. The best part is that they serve café con leche.
This place is kid friendly & stroller friendly.

Great food, great service, great people. Chuck Wagon, located on Bird Road just after SW 72^nd Ave in the Westchester/​Glenvar Heights area of Miami, sets the standard for hearty, rib-​sticking American diner food in Miami. Although the outside looks a bit dingy and dated, the food inside is phenomenal. The inside dining area could use an upgrade and the entire restaurant smelled like burned toast and burned eggs the entire duration of my visit, but other than that, the place was clean and well-​organized.
I went myself on a Monday morning around 9:00am and got a table right away. Within 2 minutes, my waitress was there taking my drink and food order. The waitress was very pleasant and sweet (kept calling me «darling»). Not only was she attentive, but she kept checking on me and making sure everything was delicious and up to par. From walking in the door to walking out, I was only there for 25 minutes; they serve you fast and get you moving on with your day. Definitely earned an A+ in the service department in my book.
In terms of the food, the coffee was piping hot and fresh. I’ve never had diner coffee that wasn’t at least somewhat burnt-​tasting until Chuck Wagon. I ordered the Chuck Wagon Grand Slam which consists of 2 large eggs, biscuits and gravy, home fries, and bacon. I had my food within 15 minutes of sitting down. Everything was steaming hot that I almost burnt my mouth on the eggs, that’s how fresh-​off-​the-​grill they were. They give you large portions of everything. The bacon was a little overcooked, but bacon is bacon, right? Home fries were some of the best I’ve had south of Virginia and the biscuits and sausage gravy could challenge the best home cooking of the Deep South. And all of this food for only $ 7.95? It’s a great bargain!
Overall, the Chuck Wagon is a convenient and fast location for some hearty diner food before you jump on the Palmetto or head into the city. I am so full I don’t think I’ll need to eat lunch today. Will definitely return and highly recommend to others.

I think these people have the best Eggs Benedict in the business. I go there and see others things but seem perplexed to order the eggs Benedict. If you can share the biscuits and gravy with someone this could be a plus.
They make it a point to keep the coffee coming even if you are done with your food.
They are awesome at this restaurant and only expect the best from them.
I try to go to places that 5 star at all times although I do venture off from time to time to find more diamonds in the rough. Even though this place looks like it’s stuck in the 50’s it is a diamond that can’t be passed up if in the mood for breakfast or lunch in the area.
Did I mention the prices are substantially less than all competitors combined.
