Pretty good and good service. We had the ham and egg empanada, chicken empanada, «fresh» fruit cup(some canned fruit in thhis so deducted a point), and turkey pesto sliders. Everything was pretty good. The café con leche was also good– cOuld taste the coffee and it was creamy. Also our server was really attentive!

The food is disappointing. The descriptions sound really great but food is not good. Shrimp wrap had semi-raw shrimp and was tasteless. My wife said the Jerk chicken sandwich was pretty nasty. Waiter spilled water all over my wife and the best they could do was tell us to be careful getting up. Don’t bother, plenty of better choices to be had.

Airport food — but good. I had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken with side greens salad — it was good. A little spice and the bun was great. Mark got the grilled chicken — and they substituted the avocado with grilled onions for him, so he was happy. He got the side Caesar and it was good. Still seemed more«chain» like although it’s only the first of 3(1 in Atlanta and 1 in Houston) The food pricing was okay — a little pricey for the size but fair enough. They had a drink menu and that was pricey IMHO — but people were buying $ 14 mojitos :) I’d make it 3−½ stars :)

The worst service I’ve had in an airport for a very long time. If I had to catch a plane s would have walked out.

Reasonably priced delicious Cuban food in good quantity, great wide selection, fast friendly service. Real gem, probably the best airport restaurant I’ve eaten at, and frankly solid Cuban food in its own right. Plus, delicious Cuban coffee stand right next door. Definitely worth your time!

In the world of airport food(in particular Miami airport food) this place shines. Excellent jerk chicken sandwich. Decent salad. Reasonable prices. Could work on their dark beer selections.

Decent food at a cheap price. In a world of $ 3-$ 4 empanadas(this place), there is no excuse to find yourself at McDonalds. I would recommend the chicken one over the breakfast(I believe ham and egg?) one because there’s more filling inside the chicken one. If you have some time to burn for an AM flight, wait ’til the empanadas are freshly restocked since they taste best out of the oven. I didn’t bother with the $ 10+ mojitos in the bar.

Great empanadas! Not greasy and stale like most of the cafeterias at the airport. It’s close to gate D60 so there isn’t much passenger traffic. I recommend you hop on the train if you’re at the lower gates and make it to this cafeteria you’ll thank me later.

Located at Miami International Airport, once inside and waiting for your flight at concourse D only, check into this Latin American restaurant for top quality food, most definately recommend the Salmon fillet and a must have and you wont need any onboard meal during your journey its that simple. Another recommendation is the Crème de Papaya topped with Liquor de Cassis for dessert, hmmmmmm delicious, i miss it. Looking forward to seeing more from Lorena Garcia to expand to other major airports and cities cos it rocks.
