Delicious! I’ve been here a few times and have ordered take out multiple times. The food is always fresh and extremely tasty. Be ready to wait for a table even on a Tuesday night, but definitely worth it. The bar is always an option as well. Despite always being packed, service is great and I love that they have a nice selection of craft beers available. There aren’t too many restaurants like this in the area — a must try!

I went for dinner last night, our server was great very professional and knowledgeable same as the manager. Our food was okay we ordered 4 in 1, anticuchos, arroz frito de mariscos, ceviche y maki. First of all the anticucho was warm/cold, maki was OKAY, the rice was magnificent. Dessert we had the chocolate cake with lucuma ice cream amazing. I ordered to go for my husband the tallarines verdes con churrasco when i go home he said it smells weird but im thinking its a great restaurant with a great chef and i saw the chef in the kitchen which means everything should be perfect so i said babe maybe is the spinach smells on the sauce, he ate it i ate just a bit to try it(thank god) so we went to sleep, at 5am he woke up throwing up/diarreah i only throwup once he had some peptobismol and sparkling water but he stayed home today because wasnt feeling good, its such a shame i had the worse experience in one of my favorite restaurants. P.s: bathroom was terrible

Came with a group from work to enjoy the excellent food here. Only gripe is that with popularity the staff seems a little rude about seating.

Stopped by dr. Limons yesterday evening for dinner with one of my best friends. Glancing over the menu I noticed many options. I initially wanted to have the lomo salteado which seems to have amazing reviews but my friend persuaded me to go for ceviche instead and so we ordered three fish plates to share. Wow!!! Everything was just so delicious. The crab tostones were my absolutely favorite. But I do have to say that the actual tostones could have been a little bit better. I personally like them crunchier /fluffier than how these were. But the crab meat and the sauce more than made up for it. Will definitely be returning. I also liked the atmosphere. Yes it’s a little bit noisy. But the staff is attentive and the food oh so good.

Trying out the new pink role! Along with our favorite roll — Acholado roll on the right! The Pink roll has Shrimp Tempura inside with Salmon au gratin on top. Yummmmmy

Dr. Limón is not the best located restaurant for tourists since it is very distant from the heart of Miami, but even though it’s not situated in the best place, its food and hospital-inspired style makes it unique. Although it specializes in Peruvian cuisine, its varied menu pleases all who love meat, seafood or vegetarian dishes. The place is usually packed so you might have to wait until you delight yourself with their Peruvian specialties. What we liked the most: Jalea del Mar & Volcan de Lucuma

Talk about incredible service and incredible and food to match. These daring Souls make the food right in front of you. That takes guts. As well as a clean kitchen. The food is out of this world. I’ll never get enough Peruvian food. They serve me up shrimp crab fish potatoes sauce and it was out of this world I swear to God it was out of this world. I’ll keep coming back

The restaurant looks modern and clean, which I liked. Unfortunately, because of the concrete floors and the size of the place plus the amount of people did it all feel uncomfortably loud for my poor ears. The food isn’t much to rave in my opinion. The classic mixed ceviche was ok but the seafood wasn’t marinated long enough to enjoy. I took it home and it tasted better due to being marinated in the juice for hours the next day. The flan was presented and tasted good. The waiter was decent and attentive the whole time. However, the prices are ridiculous for a restaurant located inside a strip mall in Kendall. Overall the place is just ok. I’m sure there are better Peruvian restaurants then this in my opinion. If you’re a huge Peruvian food fan then this is the place to go.

Very good quality peruvian food, with really fresh ingredients and nice presentation of the dishes. Staff is very nice and hard working, and fast to bring the things. Ceviches were outstanding, we chose the three small ceviche trial dish, each one was different and delicious, fish was tender but firm and seafood was also very fresh. The complimentary fried corn you get is addictive :), they also bring a complimentary small glass of «leche de tigre» which was very sour but very tasty! Cons: is super noisy… it was dinner time, the place was not totallly full, and it was impossible to talk and hear each other without screaming. I think is because of how the local is made. It was a bit stressfull and ruined somehow the experience. And. I really think is overpriced! The portions are not that big but the prices are really high. I understand everything is very fresh and elaborated with care but… dfinitely it could be cheaper.

I never give a 5 star to any restaurant unless It wows me. Well this restaurant wowed me. Every single dish our waiter suggested was delicious. Our waiter Mario was very good, all the dishes he recommended, never disappointed. I will be back for sure. All their dishes are great, from the appetizer to the dessert it’s all good.

This place is an easy review with few words required. Excellent! The food, service, quality, and presentation is outstanding. Ceviche with Leche the Tigre Octopus appetizer Risotto Juices Desserts Everything you order is exceptional, only drawback is the dining room is very loud and often there is a standing line. This restaurant is an absolute jewel.

So nicely greeted by pretty much each staff member we passed by. Let me just say. the Passion Fruit Sangria was delicious. Let’s talk food. I’m not too fond of Peruvian cuisine, but I’m always up for something new. The tostones with crab was a great start to our food journey at Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar! A little on the browned side but I still liked it hehe, I love green plantains. I did not like the Dr. causa con pulpo ATALL, something about it being a cold dish didn’t settle with me. I went for a fried dish as my entrée because WHYNOT, balance. he-lloo. The Jalea was overwhelming, and over killed; meaning, it was all consumed, «make that one more tarter sauce, please!» It all came to an end with a drink, which I don’t remember the name but it mainly consisted of ginger beer, boy oh boy, did it have ginger… I liked it. I like ginger. It’s an acquired taste. Try this ginger drink if you know what’s good for ya.

Let me start off by saying that if I could give this place 3.5 stars I would, but the food was delicious, so I rounded up. The restaurant is pretty small, and not very good for parties over 4. My party of 7 waited about 30 minutes around lunchtime. The service is somewhat slow and not extremely attentive. They messed up one of our orders but replaced it with the correct dish in about 5 minutes. But the food. The food is oh so good. We ordered so much. For appetizer, we ordered the Triple Seviche Sampler(forgot which ones) and the Tostones with Crab and Tiger’s Milk. The Seviche was a mixture of calamari, fish, and shrimp with one of their special sauces. The seviches were fresh, and the sauces were delicious and unique. I’d give them a 7.5÷10. The Tostones de Cangrejo were by far more tasty. Their special Tiger’s Milk sauce was INCREDIBLE. 9⁄10. The entrees were also spectacular. The table ordered the Lomo Saltado, Chucuito Beach, Mahi Mahi Primavera, Fried Seviche, and the Seafood Chaufa. The Chucuito Beach and Seafood Chaufa were by far the best dishes on the table. For dessert, we ordered two of the Suspiro Limeno desserts, which is a glass of dulce de leche topped with merengue cream and cinnamon, and one of the passion fruit soufflés. Again, both were great tasting dishes. I definitely recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover, or anyone looking to try a good and relatively new restaurant. There were a few things here and there that prevent me from giving it a full 4 stars but the food here is top notch.

First off, this restaurant has expanded to twice the size it used to be. It’s very crowded and loud if you’re into that type of eating environment. They give you complimentary toasted corn and«leche de tigre.» Don’t confuse this for mango juice as it is the opposite of a sweet drink. We ordered a variety of different dishes including: aji de gallina, tallarin verde, and ceviche. The«quitate-el-stress» is beyond overpriced for what you get which is tiny tiny portions of three types of ceviche. It’s very good, but we are a family of 5 so it was not enough. The main courses are delicious though. Peruvian food is known for being one of the best so you won’t be disappointed regardless of what you order. Stick to water if you’re watching your wallet. Each soda can will set you back $ 3!

Had to wait 30 min for a seat as this place gets PACKED, especially on the weekends. A superb ceviche/Peruvian experience. They start off with tigers milk– which looks like a peach smoothie but is very salty! And roasted corn nuts– housemade, none of that packaged crap. Tried the Quitate El Es Tres– ceviche three flavors. Really hits the ceviche craving spot. We got it with fish, shrimp, and octopus, so good! Only downside is that the acidity is so strong, so my mouth was a bit sore afterward(canker sores!) We also got the lomo saltado– really solid, flavors were great, beef was tender– but not too tender. Delicious! The passion fruit crème brûlée was very tart at first– but you get used to it after awhile and we finished the whole thing! Very good. The sangria laboratoria was also fun. They just put dry ice in it to bubble up. Taste wise not the best, but still fun to experience. If you have a large group get the pitcher as that smokes more.

Lo mejor! La calidad de la comida es excelente. Un poco caro para un lunch regular pero you get what you pay for! Lo que si es el volumen de la musica a veces no deja conversar. Love this place!

Small place nestled in a shopping mall you would not imagine, the mall has a Banquet Hall, bakery, check cashing, insurance and Dr Limon is tucked in all the way in the corner. From the outside, all glass windows see through, summerlike feeling with great décor. Ceviches are a hit. Juices so delicious you want to make sure non is left on the plate. Lomo saltado takes me to my childhood memories… Fried rice is good, we ordered it with seafood. I loved it that the shrimp was not overcooked and undercooked, just perfect! Seems like Dr. Limon is on a trend… several Peruvian restaurants trying to spicy it up and trying to change a bit the ceviche flavors! Service is prompt and corteous, place is a bit loud so speak up a bit.

One of the best Peruvian restaurant in Miami. Maybe in the Top 3. Definitely in the Top 5. This is what was ordered: Sangría roja was made with Tabenero wine from Perú and mixed fruits with nitrogen ice $ 8 Hijas del doctor(huge plates of octopus, fried ceviche, ceviche, causa) $ 51 Tuna papaki /sellada $ 18 Tacu layers /montado $ 16 Anticuchos $ 11 Geisha — fried calamari, ceviche and leche de tigre $ 11 Volcan chocolate dessert $ 7.50 It can all add up, but luckily I wasn’t eating by myself, haha. Great meal, and definitely a great new take on Peruvian! Try to come during the off hours or for lunch, because this place gets packed and you may have to wait outside, which isn’t fun.

Rufino was an awesome waiter who provided our table with excellent service! We decided to go with his recommendations, if you’re not sure about something just ask and I’m sure he will deliver. He knew what we would like based on what we told him and ended up ordering a couple of pitchers of sangria, conch fritters, tostones with crab and a four plate sampler that brought ceviche, fried ceviche, fried rice and octopus(wish I could remember the name). Two must try dishes are the conch fritters and the ceviche!!! The conch fritters were amazing and complemented by a spicy sauce. You would think their fried rice would be similar to takeout since this is not really their specialty but I was so wrong. The rice did not taste greasy or fried and the portions in the sampler were just right for our table. Also, the ceviche was fresh and flavorful. All of the dishes paired well with our sangria, we just didn’t drink the leche de tigre when we sat down because it was too sour. I know that’s how it is supposed to be but we just aren’t fans of it in general. There is a long wait so just suck it up, you’ll live. Walk around for a bit or just come when the wait isn’t so long. We went on a Saturday at 7:15 pm and were seated right away(party of 3) but by the time we left there was a wait outside.
