Let me start by saying the food is delicious, at least on par with the other more well-known Cuban restaurants in the area. The two stars is to reflect the horrendous delivery service that we experienced. Approximately 35 minutes past the expected delivery time, and two phone calls to the restaurant later, I finally got a call from the driver. He sounded lost, and angry. Just as I started giving him directions to the house(he was two blocks away), he interrupted and said«maybe I’ll just leave the food by the side of the road.» AREYOU F***INGSERIOUS??? When he finally got to the house, he blamed everything from his cheap GPS to our house’s impossible location, and never a hint of apology. Suddenly, the 20% tip(pre-paid) felt way too much. I hope they fire the stupid driver and save the restaurant’s reputation. Maybe he will be happier at another job.

My husband and I order delivery through eat24 and we are always happy with our order. The portions are large and the quality is great! Our delivery is usually here within 45 minutes.

I found this place while driving by. Came in for breakfast. Had the Pinero Steak and eggs. It was delicious! The restaurant is clean. The service is quick and good. I will definitely come back if I have a chance to be in town again.

Just finished my delivered order. Delicious, affordable and it definitely hit the spot. My favorite items were the Tostones and chicken empanadas. It’s hard to find a restaurant that can deliver fried food without it arriving soggy. I’ll be ordering from here, again. Sorry, Sergio’s.

Ordered delivery from them via eat24 and I was pleasantly surprised! Pan con bistec’s were HUGE, tasty and fresh. Meat wasn’t chewy. Their ham and chicken croquetas are fire! My daughter had the chicken fingers and I was surprised to find that they were home made(not frozen Tyson type). Their frita was a bit larger that the average frita and a little too salty. Other than that, I’d attempt to order it again. Will definitely order from them again to try other things.

Great little place!!! Grocery, bakery, food by the pound in back and restaurant. We had lunch on a Saturday and it was good. I had grilled chicken steak, wife had fish of the day grilled which includes salad bar and hot bar for low price. Food was great! Service was great, lady explained how the buffet worked. I will be back for sure. Great that it’s not too far from my home. Give it a try.

This review is only for the restaurant, not the food by the pound or supermarket area. Have had lunch here 4 times, and it is consistently delicious. I always order from the executive lunch menu which includes their salad bar and choice of main dish, baby churrasco, grilled fish or chicken breast. I’ve only had the steak or fish. Both are large portions, never overcooked and just the right seasoning. The salad bar has a very Latin selection(not only Cuban) which includes cold cabbage, carrot, egg and pasta salads. It also has a hot sides selection of rice, beans, plantains, pumpkin, etc. Service is fast and with a smile. Prices are very reasonable. They serve Spanish beer and Sangria. The cortaditos are delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

I love this place. I’ve been coming here since day one. They have a huge selection of delicious Cuban food. It’s like Palacio de Los Jugos, but MUCHBETTER. The food is fresh and the people that work there are always so nice. If you like Cuban food, give this gem a try.

I must be eating at a different place. All these stellar reviews are so confusing. Tonite was my second time here. I just about gagged when my parents invited me to join them –to come BACK! «Hijos de Maltrato» is the correct word for this phenomenon.. They seem to love the fried fish here. No matter what you order, the sides available are located on the buffet line. By 8pm they’ve been dying to see you all day! The beans, black & red, were good. The rest of the things in their hot case are in varying stages of true death! Rice was crunchy and had been out for hours, we had to ask the server to bring new plantains out twice because the ones out were no longer recognizable. Apparently the hot case continuing to cook things over the course of hours, much like Global Warming, isn’t a «real» thing here? We ordered a side of tostones that weren’t available on the buffet and were fried to a crisp – and not in a good way! I ordered a bistec empanizado(breaded steak) that was SO salty(…& square?) I couldn’t finish it. I also couldn’t taste the steak. It was mystery meat. It could’ve been salty beef or salty chicken or a marinated towel? It was just like being in Cuba! –I kid, I kid! I joke, I(MOSTLY) joke! The house wine is awful and instead of regular plates to eat your bevvy of sides off of, you’re serving yourself on heavy, bulky partitioned plates much like the ones you’d serve elementary kids on in public schools back in the 50s. If they were made of heavy ceramic. They are AWESOME! They offer food by the pound as well and it may be better if there’s more movement in those cases; though I wouldn’t recommend it. I gave them 2 stars because they had 2 TVs where we could at least watch the HEAT playing! lol So, RECAP! –If you like fried FISH: come to this place. If you love salt and are NOT on a diuretic: come to this place! If you like playing«What was this mystery food hours ago?!» DEFINITELY come to this place! –but, you’re on your own! LOL

We came here under the recommendation of a friend. I was really impressed with the entire place. They have delicious Cuban food served buffet style(and from menu). The buffet is nine dollars with all kinds of delicious side dishes and then if you want meat(I didn’t) you get your choice of meat which is all you can eat as well for a little extra. It was clean, new, and a bit classy. I would definitely return. Left more than satisfied.

I love this place. The restaurant is good the grocery store is good and clean. The only reason I won’t give it a five star rating is because every Sunday they say they are open till 5 p.m. And I got there today as I do every Sunday(Cause of my job and when I get out.) at 4:52 all the doors are locked and they are counting the tills. I’m sorry if that’s the case then close the store at 4:30 if you want to leave before 5. But it is posted they close at 5 not 4:52. It drives me crazy when a company doesn’t follow its own hours of operation. Other then that rant good place and very friendly workers.

I went there for breakfast. The breakfast is fairly priced, the service was good, and the place was clean. They even give you complimentary toasted cuban bread with butter, which other places don’t tend to offer. I always had a full glass of water and the waitress didn’t bother me at all. My only peeve is that they have a $ 5 minimum charge for credit/debit cards, which kinda sucks if you only want to have a couple of pasteries or some Cuban coffee. While this won’t affect most people, the world is moving closer to a paperless economy and it’s also quicker to use a card than to pay in cash. As for the grocery store that they have next door, I went to buy something one time, but went to the CVS across the street because they have a $ 10 minimum charge for credit/debit cards.

This place is a couple of blocks from where I live and we have been waiting for its opening for over a year. The place is unbelievable. It is a cafeteria, restaurant, grocery store, bakery, food by the pound, asadero, natural fruit juice bar, and has a flower stand as well. It sounds very odd, but they have spared no expense, from the finishes and décor to the top of the line espresso machines to the cooking stations. The cafeteria stand actually has a nice modern feel to it as well. It is covered in decorative limestone. As you enter you have the option to either side at the counter or table and booths. Towards the back there is a bakery which has your typical Cuban desserts and pastelitos, which connects to the grocery store. We ordered their traditional breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs, a side of ham, sausage, or bacon, Cuban bread, home style potatoes and Café con Leche all for $ 4.50. Their menu has a variety of Cuban dishes as well as their daily specials. They have an interesting concept. When you order your main entrée your sides are self served. They are displayed as a sides bar. So if you ordered a steak you would select whichever sides you want form their side bar. They also have a salad bar as well. Their sides included your typical choices available at a Cuban restaurant, white rice, yellow rice, beans, yucca, plantains. I am sure there is more, but I didn’t want to look like a stalker taking pictures of the food. The staff was great, they were eager to explain all of their different options and concepts. All of the mentioned areas have not been opened. The grocery, juice bar and asadero(bbq) is in the finishing stages so they are currently not open. I am very excited to have such a great innovated Cuban place right by my house. Definitely will be my go to place for well just about everything.
