Tamaño de platos… XXL. Calidad muy buena de los productos. Atención excelente y ambiente grato. No es un lugar elegante o mantel largo, pero para ir a almorzar o cenar de manera informal cumple perfectamente.

It was a nasty and cold rainy day here in Miami, so I didn’t want to go pick up lunch. My co-worker was in the mood for seafood so we ordered Arroz con Mariscos which is yellow rice with different shellfish, calamari, and fish chunks. The rice was not the best, it was actually pretty flavorless. I’m guessing it was a la chorrera style(a Cuban preparation where the rice has a porridge consistency) but it was watery and the rice was still a little bit crunchy. You can tell that this dish was rushed in the kitchen. I continued to chomp into little pieces of muscle, clam, and crab shell — very uncomfortable! The icing on the cake was the timing. I placed my order for lunch at 11 am, but my meal didn’t arrive till 2:30(THEENDOFMYSHIFT) I had tried calling them, but the line was always busy. Once I got through they said their system had gone down and they lost my information and couldn’t contact me. How convenient being I had already been charged. Wish I had better things to say about this local spot, but here in Miami we have«Rinconcito» restaurants by the dozen. On to the next one…

Horrible customer service!!! Called this morning to make an order for delivery and made me wait 15 minutes just to take my order. Not only did I have to wait 15 minutes on hold but my order took over an hour to get delivered… Never ordering from this place again!!!

I have a layover in Miami and I was starving once I made it to the hotel. The hotel representative recommended this restaurant and said that the food was good and it was close to the hotel. I have to admit that I wanted satisfying and quick and didn’t have any high expectations. However, I made my order and it came within 20 to 30 minutes and the turkey sandwich was one of the best I had ever had. At first I thought it just because I was hungry, but I only compare this sandwich to Copelands in New Orleans. The black bean and rice was fresh and so was the vegetables. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are staying over in Miami near the airport

Fabulous Latin food! Incredible Cuban sandwich made with fresh bread. Prices are very reasonable. Prompt service with friendly wait staff. They run the place on the chilly side so bring a lite jacket.

Visiting from L.A. I was craving Cuban food and it was high on the to do list. This place is pretty legit, the Rabo Encendido is good. The oxtail was super tender and the sauce savory and flavorful. The platanos were, cooked just right, sweet and delish. The place is bigger on the inside than it look from the outside. I’ll admit when we walked in the waitress standing near the counter looked at me and practically rolled her eyes and continued to talk to whoever she was talking to at the counter, not a customer but another employee. It’s cool, idgaf i’m hungry. Almost at the same time another helpful waitress sat us down and waited on us rather prompt and courteous. Other than that the food was great my friend had the Churrasco a La Parrila, skirt steak the best she ever had she said. The service was good I can’t complain. I’ll come back if i’m in the Doral area, Bright, nice and clean. Plenty of parking. adjacent to the County Jail across the street, so it’s cool for a great meal when getting out.

Fuming doesn’t even begin to describe the way I feel after leaving this restaurant. HORRIBLE wait staff/customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. My guy and I were looking for a breakfast spot in the area that’s decently priced and has good food. Everything seemed on par with what we were looking for at El Rinconcito Latino so we decided to give them a try. Upon first walking in, we weren’t sure whether to just sit down or wait to be seated. We stood at the front for a little bit until one of the waitresses told us to sit anywhere. We picked a table near the back and were quickly delivered menus. Everything was fine up until the waitress came back to take our orders… My guy ended up ordering the scrambled egg breakfast special(scrambled eggs with bacon, one side, and café’ cubano) adding cheese. The menu states that the eggs come with a a few veggie items in them, but he just asked for the onion and tomato plus adding cheese. We were aware that the cheese costs $ 1 extra making his meal total $ 6.99. I ended up ordering the scrambled egg breakfast as well, but I told the waitress I wanted my eggs plain since I have issues digesting onions and dairy. My meal was supposed to cost $ 5.99. When our food arrived, both orders of eggs had ham in them, which we did not ask for. Mine came with tomato and onion as well. My guy sent both back since neither of us are a huge fan of ham in our eggs and we didn’t ask for them to be made this way. The waitress seemed alright with the request, but obviously wasn’t thrilled. Orders came back and mine still had tomato and onion in them. I didn’t want to ask again so I just didn’t eat my eggs. After this, we did not see our waitress again for the duration of the meal and had to flag down another waitress to ask for water to drink. She looked less than thrilled about having to help us. Then came the kicker of the whole experience, our bill. Again, with our meals combined the cost should have been around $ 14 with tax… nope, our bill was $ 23! We were charged for adding onion and tomato and ham into our eggs. We never asked for the ham and the menu does not state an up charge for the onion and tomato and again, I ASKEDFORMYEGGSTOBEPLAIN! Plus, our meals were supposed to come with café’ con leche, but we both opted for café’ cubano because of the dairy issue… café’ cubano was $ 1 less expensive than café’ con leche yet we’re still being uncharged?! Then, we were charged $ 3.99 for bacon that was supposed to come with our meals. The waitress stated that charge was because we added ham to our eggs… again, not the case. She reluctantly took off the bacon charge, but still charged us for the«extras» totaling almost $ 19. I tried to speak up again, but she took off before I could even finish a sentence. My boyfriend was tired of dealing with the issue so we paid and left. I am astounded by the severe lack of customer service and care this establishment has. It’s quite apparent that many members of the wait staff here are less than thrilled about their jobs, but don’t take it out on the customers who are simply trying to enjoy their meal. This waitress was quite frankly one of the worst I’ve ever had. I will not be back and I will be telling my friends to steer clear.

HALLOWEENHORROR… if you’re looking to be terrified this halloween season please skip the house of horrors at International Mall and go straight to Rinconcito Latino on 36 st. The devil himself prepared my sandwich, BURNED to perfection. Their white rice comes directly from a Crypt, seasoned with MAGGOTS. No need for BLOODY decorations since the chicken comes with blood and raw enough to get your SALMONELLA fix. I have tried several times to contact the OWNER but her MAJESTY was to busy to talk about what’s going on at her establishment.

Nice place the waitress was very friendly and helpful and allowed just the right amount of time for us to agree on what we were going to order, I ordered a vaca Frita and Malanga Cream with Tostones and my partner ordered a breaded chicken steak with Maduros Rice and Black beans, we enyoyed part of the food but I noticed my vaca frita was not ehat I expected. ok…it is not the best I have had… it wasnt fried enough… the rest was fine I dont think I will be repeating the experience though I know other places I like more, the ladies bathroom was very untidy and dirty had no toilet roll… for a not so busy Thursday night I find this not to be very acceptable… I had heard good things about the place… I just know better places thats all.

Dont use credit card for delivery, my purchase was 9.93, that include a delivery charge of 3.00, i add 1.00 tip making it 10.93, how bout the driver later alter it turning the 1.00 to a 4.00 totaling 13.93, spoke to manager and owner they, pretty much told me to fuck off! I used to love this place order every day, until 07/26/2015, last day!

Little hole in the wall, not in attractive strip mall but that’s ok. Very big place, almost set up like a diner on one side and tables on the other side. Cuban coffee is banging, didn’t care for the calamari something not quite right for me. Staying at the trump Doral, and felt obligated to have Cuban since we are in Miami! Checked Unilocal, and saw this place so we came by! The sandwiches are freaking huge, definitely shareable and then some. I got the steak sandwich and Amanda got the Miami sandwich. Both were excellent. Got two order of fries so unnecessary. Just like sandwich one was plenty for both. Great spot if you’re in Doral area and are craving Cuban.

I ordered for pickup and the lady that answers that phone was super nice and sweet. We ordered breaded chicken breast with rice and plantains. The portions were so huge that 4 people could’ve ate with 1 order. The plated it in two separate containers — one container was filled with rice and the other one was two huge pieces of breaded chicken. The bad side: everything was bland! No flavor at all. The rice needed salt, the chicken was extremely plain :(sucks that Doral doesn’t have any good Cuban restaurants.

Not the best Cuban but a very close second. The meat is fresh, they give you a lot of cheese, and the delivery option is very fast. I would definitely order again– it won’t disappoint! They could afford to learn to communicate with Americans– but I guess that’s everyone in Cuba Jr.(MIA).

Three years ago we came to Miami on vacation and stumbled upon this place… We found it again!!! Everything was great, the food, service, and the beer was cold! We ordered from their nightly dinner specials! Great prices. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich! Yum yum Anytime we vacation here… We will be eating here!

Excellent food! Stumbled across this place and checked the Unilocal review and it seemed promising. Went in and it was a little slow but that was not a indicator to anything this time. I ordered the chicken steak and it was great! Once again Unilocal led me to a great meal.

I discovered this place while working in Miami for the weekend. I asked the receptionist at the hotel what was a good place to get some local grub and she directed me here. I like the ambience of the restaurant feels very… Cuban. They have a lot of items on the menu and after much deliberation I ordered the shrimp dish seen in the picture. It was good. Lots of shrimp and fresh vegetables. I was expecting a little more spice but it was still a flavorful dish. I really wanted to try the tres leeches cake but they were all out so that was disappointing. While I enjoyed my meal my boss that accompanied me to the restaurant didn’t care too much for the chicken breast a and beans that he ordered and it was a bit bland in our opinion however the beans were the saving grace. Sometimes you just order the wrong thing. I wish I ordered that whole fish that I kept seeing other diners devour. I would go back and explore the menu a little bit more. Overall, fair.

Ok i found this place because a friend recommended and I’m glad he did. It’s in a very busy Plaza but they outdo the competition for sure. On my first visit I had the Grilled chicken sandwich and though it was a little bit of a wait(it was really busy at lunchtime) it was worth it. The sandwich was huge and we’ll done, side was shredded potato which they call French fries… Service was prompt, we got warm bread brought to our table after we order our drinks so no complaints on that end. The place is ok, nothing fancy and can get very busy but it is worth it. The prices are very reasonable for the size of the portions so they are a great value. Second time I went I had the sautéed chicken special(they have different specials everyday) also huge, sauce was great, Moro and tostones done well and big portions so I will be coming back for sure!

VALUEANDSUPERBSERVICE!!! The sun rises and the light slowly creeps into your hotel bedroom. The sun’s rays fill the room with warmth and your eyelids flutter a bit as you begin to awaken from your slumber. Slowly rolling out of bed, you ponder your options for breakfast. What to do? Well, use your handy-dandy Unilocal app of course!!! Duh! There were various options within the vicinity and as I scanned quickly through the Unilocal reviews, I narrowed it down to two choices. Time to dig a little deeper with that Unilocal app and read Elite reviews thoroughly. I trust my fellow Unilocalers but when I have to decided between two choices, I break the tie by reading Elite reviews. Then onto the next important requirement: PICTURES! What does the food look like? Is it appetizing? Hey, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? Okay, it’s settled. El Rinconcito Latino is the choice. As we pulled into the strip mall, I noticed that the restaurant has a take-out window. They were people ordering and others who were eagerly awaiting their orders. Good sign. As we opened the door and stepped into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a server who escorted us to a table. Nice beginning. I chose the Rinconcito breakfast combo for $ 6.99. You can barely get a pastry and a latte for that much at one of those national chain coffee stores(you know which ones they are!) Our server didn’t speak much English but she was gracious enough to enlist the help of one of her colleagues. All tables receive a basket of buttered bread which was so good. Add to that my enormous breakfast combo for $ 6.99. Here’s what I got: — 2 eggs — bacon(I believe you have an option for sausage) — grits(there was an alternative but I can’t remember) — 2 pancakes — café con leche It’s a lot of food for $ 6.99. It was good too. Both our servers were warm and courteous; helpful and funny; and one of them even tried teaching us a little Spanish. Great place! So if you are staying in one of the many hotels in the area, please try this place out. It is fantastic and your pocket book will thank you. Since it’s such a good value, feel free to tip extra because the wait staff really deserve it. They are wonderful.

Great for quick bite at lunch time if you work in Doral. It’s located in an old shopping center and windows are tinted dark. Prices good. Typical Cuban food. Good coffee.
