DO NOT USE THIS SHIPPER.
When they wanted a deposit up front I should have walked away. You know who wants a deposit up front? Companies that expect you will be pissed when you find out they are full of it. They get you to go ahead and sign on with them by giving you a great time estimate. Then they push it, and push it, and push it again. Its been 5 days since the supposed pickup day was to happen and 3 since the «for sure» date if the original date fell through and I still don’t know when it will actually be picked up. I needed this vehicle for a specific event. Time estimates allowed plenty of time to not only receive it but get it ready. Now I’m fairly certain there is no way I’m even going to receive it before this event is over.
Things happen, but there is a clear difference between an honest mishap and bold faced blatant lying to get you under a contract. Ship my car dammit!
UPDATE 1÷25÷16: So they still haven’t picked up my car and that’s after leaving it in that damn blizzard that just hit the northeast. They promised for sure today. Surprise surprise, didn’t pick it up. I’m dangerously close to flying out to Miami to deal with this disrespect in person.
UPDATE 2÷3÷16: I finally got my vehicle. This whole time they had me thinking it was the shipper. It wasn’t, it was them. Again I say, DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. Took 3 weeks to get a car that was supposed to be picked up «the next day.» That was what I heard every day. Tomorrow we promise. BS. After all that not a single apology. They’ll string you along to keep your business but you can’t trust a word they say. Let my mistake be your warning!

Always review your contract before giving any money

Honestly if I could give this company 0 stars I would. «Mike,» the broker, will lie to you about your total fees & you will have to pay $ 300+ more than expected.
They will give you a quote and you will pay $ 200 to their company as a fee for them to contract a driver for you. You would assume that you owe the driver then the remaining balance of the total, right?
NOPE! you owe the driver whatever THEY say when they get your car.
I was quoted $ 798, paid $ 200, and assumed I had to pay the remaining $ 600 to the driver. When the driver arrived he told me I owed $ 900!!!
The estimate wasn’t even close to the total. please never use this company. it is a scam and you’re better off finding a company that maybe you’ll pay a little more but won’t be tricked into any surprising fees.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They engage in what is basically a bait and switch scam. They tell you one price that is low and acceptable but once they get your car, the price accelerates dramatically. I tried to get my credit card company to rescind the money but I was then threatened by charming Mike!
Truly, if you are foolish enough to engage these people, as I was, make sure you nail down, in advance, the actual and final cost. Once your car is in their possession, you will have zero leverage. BEWARE!

I would absolutely use Elite Auto Shipper again. Driver was courteous and pleasant… he made the trip in good time. Once dates are decided upon its a relatively easy process to sign some docs online and the trip is arranged. $ 100 deposit by credit card at the time of filing out the paperwork online. The only challenge I had was that the pickup was originally scheduled for Friday and the driver was unable to make it. However, the car was then picked up the next day and delivered Monday morning (NJ to Atlanta). The balance of the bill is paid to the driver in cash.
In my case the transport was brokered (meaning the trucker is an independent). I’ve done plenty of freight routing with individual truckers in my past. Sometimes individual brokered truckers do not show when they say they will. As they are not Elite’s employees, these are circumstances that are out of Elite’s control so its not necessarily a reflection of them. Brokered trucks are very common in the trucking industry — absolutely no reason to shy away from them. I asked Paul at Elite for copy of the carrier’s insurance and he provided it.
Elite provided a good service that I would use again without hesitation. I recommend them.

Anthony did not honor agreed upon contract when I did not ship my vehicle. Contract states I would be charges only $ 150 dry run fee. Instead I was not given a refund at all and he ignored my emails. I am out $ 1250 and vehicle was never delivered.

Well what a surprise! (See original review below) Elite finally was able to pick up my vehicle more than a week after the contract specified. Elite also told me that they couldn’t do it for the contracted price and I had to shell out an extra $ 400.00!!!
On top of that the truck driver asked me to meet him with my vehicle at a Home Depot at 9:00pm…he showed up after midnight.
