In comparison to the Sunrise location, the Miami Gardens location is slower, less organized and the service not as good. The food isn’t made as well. Maybe they’re still trying to get up to speed since they opened less than a year ago? Over easy eggs came out fried after a very long wait for food, server never came to check on us. Would recommend sticking to the Sunrise location

I love the Sawgrass location, but this location is Meg. The service is mediacore, seriously feels like I’m eating inside a glorified Ihops. So dossapointed, had very high expectations for this location. It is, what it is.

Saw this places being built and thought the name was a bit unusual so I want sure what it was then after driving by I stopped and picked up a menu to go. No prices on the to go menus which was a bit discouraging. Finally stopped by to have lunch to see what this place is all about. Very nice atmosphere and outdoor seating. When I came in the door at 1pm I was not greater, and had no idea if I had to seat myself or what until I asked. I was seated for a few minutes until the server showed and he asked me if I was ready to order. I asked him for water and never received it until I had to ask for it again. I loved the Kale tonic drink. I ordered the Chicken salad melt(isn’t a melt hot) and was a bit disappointed with it because It was served cold and had a lot of mayonnaise in it. As I am eating, I looked at other things on the menu and I notice I had a choice of side but was never asked if I preferred soup over the salad. Hmmm. I am curious how breakfast is. Prices are a little high too. I will still come check out breakfast.

I love brunch and this place if perfect for every brunch lover. It has so many options. We had the bacado and the lemon ricotta pancakes both very large plates. Everything was delicious, all the servers were nice and genuinely happy. Give it a try!

A cozy barn-inspired breakfast and lunch eatery located next to Starbucks in a strip mall. This was my second time at first watch. The name is a bit confusing but it’s a decent stop for breakfast if you’re in the area and don’t want the usual nationwide breakfast items. The menu is chock full of interesting items, but lacks breakfast staples — ie grits. I looked forward to getting them, but they were nowhere on the menu which is surprising given the farm fare atmosphere. Our party ordered avocado toast with a «basted» egg(which is a fried egg that’s been cooked on a flat top, squirted with water and covered), BLTE — bacon, lettuce, tomato, and egg which comes with their soup du jour or usual tomato basil, chikichanga — chicken chimichanga with eggs, a carrot cake pancake, and the smoked salmon Benedict, and kale tonic. My BLTE was delicious; however, the tomato soup was dismal. It was bland and was reminiscent of canned soup. The avocado toast was also lackluster in flavor sadly. The carrot cake pancake was a yummy, sweet ending to the meal. And, based on the other members in my party, they enjoyed their salmon Benedict(w/side salad) and chikichanga(w/home fries that appeared starchy and undercooked and a side of fruit). The service was prompt but disappointing. Our server failed offer us water or provide us with enough glasses when we did ask — which required a second mention, the specialty drinks we ordered came mid-meal(rather than before), coffee was offered and only poured halfway in the mug(strange), and she failed to mention that we pay up front — so our party was lingering post-meal waiting for the server to reappear. Overall, a beautiful restaurant but due to spotty service, high prices, and what I considered to be bland food, I most likely will not return.

**UPDATE: I’ve been back to the store. The order was filled in a timely manner. The issue was handles professionally and I have no doubts about the food. This bus the best place for breakfast/brunch within miles. I will be a customer and look forward to continued service improvements.

First Watch is a breakfast/brunch/lunch kind of establishment. My cousin brought us here for our last meal on our recent trip to south Florida and it was a nice way to end it. One of my cousins had ordered a salmon benedict and a carrot cake pancake. My other cousin had asked for a breakfast BLT with tomato soup. My wife ordered the avocado toast and I had asked for the chickichanga. I had a sample of all the plates and I have to say everything tasted great. My dish the chickichanga was a chicken filled chimichanga with sauce and sour cream. It was filling and tasty. I didn’t have too much of the smoked salmon benny but just a taste that my cousin had let me try. Her pancake really tasted like carrot cake. We were given a thermos of coffee since we all had coffee. Their wifi wasn’t really working well that day for whatever reason but the food more than made up for it. Their servings are pretty generous and the service was good.

At this point, I wish I could give ZERO stars. I have called in carryout orders over a dozen times to this locations. When I arrive, I still have to wait 10 – 15 minutes. That is not how carry out is supposed to work. Today, I placed my carryout order at 1:09 pm. I arrived at 1:35 my salad was not ready. At 1:50 I was given my order. Got back to work and discovered my salad has NOMEAT. I essentially wasted my lunch time and still no lunch. Now, they wont answer the phone. I will not return.

My barber recommended this place because it was in the same plaza. I didn’t realize it was an actual restaurant and quite famous for their breakfast selections. Concept is simple… serve the freshest food made from scratch or made to order. The décor is airy and earthy. They have communal tables and comfy bistro chairs for the 2 top tables. My server sat my on a 4 top because it wasn’t busy, then handed me the regular menu plus a seasonal one. I started with the drink called«Spring Hydrate»(Pineapple, cucumber, coconut water & lemon) from the Spring menu. It was truly refreshing and wished they offered a free refill :). For the main course, I tried their Chicken Avocado Chop with citrus chipotle dressing. The ingredients were definitely fresh and loved the crunch from the shredded tortilla topping. The portion was more than enough too. I had good 1st experience from this place and will have to come back and try their breakfast menu. They serve breakfast all day too… nice :)

Came this morning at 9 to have breakfast with my husband and ten month baby. They were smiley and polite. The hostess had us sitting right away with a high share. The tables and floors are clean, I do not know how their bathrooms are. Their kitchen looks clean and organized, waitress is attentive. I am allergic to eggs so I was very limited with their breakfast menu, though their lunch menu has sandwiches and salads. I was hoping for pancakes or waffles but they use eggs. I was hoping they’d have an alternative vegan waffle or pancake option. But it’s okay, I had the quinoa bowl with sausage veggies. My food was cold in parts and warm in other. My husband had the healthy turkey with whole grain toast and coffee. They offer free juice for kids. Our bill came out to $ 21. With change. Much better quality food than Ihope and Denny’s. Your stomach doesn’t hurt after.

Finally a nice breakfast spot in Miami Gardens drive. Situated in the old radio shack spot near Starbucks. Really good food and the service is very good. Employs lots of young enthusiastic teens. Healthy menu to boot. Must try.

Where to begin ?? So I’ve been anticipating trying this spot. I decide to come in on Sunday 4÷10÷16 at 11:40am. I thought let me order«2-go» since the place was PACKED and the hostess was telling patrons its a 40min wait. I ordered the BLTEGGBENEDICT, SMOKEDSALMONBENEDICT, A BELGIUMWAFFLE&THETRIFECTA. It French toast, over hard eggs & sausage. By the time the young lady(didn’t get her name. Long dark hair & glasses) took my order and said she was taking it too the kitchen it was approx. 11:50am. I sat and waited patiently for my Togo order… Around 12:40pm(50 min later) after I noticed people who were seated after I placed my order enjoying their brunch… I inquired on «How much longer would my order be?» With the same young woman who took my order. She walked into the kitchen and came back with no answer … Just started bussing tables and seating people. at this point I’m irritated and it’s been an hour. She looks me SQUARE in the eye and says«Your order is on the grill now and nearly ready» I said ok. I’ll be back I’m going to my car for something. She said ok by the time you get back it should be bagged. I go in my car and hold a 8 to 10 minute phone conversation. That’s when I walk back in its a little passed 1pm. And I don’t see ANYTHING waiting for me … NADA. ZIP… ZERO to go plates. So the look is written all Over my face so another waiter named Franky stops to speak to me… Ask what’s wrong and have I been helped. I gave her my name and asked can she check on my order … She goes and GUESSWHATSHEFINDSOUT? Not only is it not ready BUT it never existed … The kitchen NEVER got a ticket. Then miraculously … They find it. ATTHISPOINT … I’m ready to moon walk up out that place and drag the name First Watch in the dirt to my friends, family and co-workers. But the server Franky took ownership Of the problem. Though she wasn’t even the woman who initially took my order. And said she would make sure my bill is comped and that a manager knows. She said they are working on my order now. When my food finally gets handed to me it’s 1:30pm … So in total I spent nearly 2hrs waiting on food that takes 25min to make tops… NOWHEREISWHATLEDTOTHISDISSERTATIONOF A UnilocalREVIEW. It was what I got when I FINALLY got my damn food. I was missing my Belgium waffle. My eggs on the egg Benedict was not poached they hard boiled. The eggs over hard look like an open face omelette … And the French toast was looking terrible too. You would think that after dragging out this order they would do their best work. Nope !! They thru it in the bag like FUCKIT! Needless to say… It will be my LAST time visiting that spot. They have one in pines… I may give a try one day… But this spot … Nope Never! I did tip Franky and the young male Hostess Both … Because they really tried to make the situation better… But when the kitchen don’t give a shit … What more can you do. I’ll post pics of the debacle they called food …

Great service and atmosphere, The food was amazing and provided a much needed change to the normal options in the area. Not a breakfast guy but i recommend the ricotta and lemon pancakes and the vegetable fritatta.

This is probably my new, favorite breakfast spot in North Miami Beach. Love the décor with it’s farm-to-table atmosphere. Clean, well designed and bright. Old-fashioned milk bottles serve as water pitchers and black boards with chalk written menu items adorn the walls. Servers: Authentically cheerful and helpful! They remember frequent patrons and go out of their way to accommodate. Frankie is awesome! Food: Fresh, healthy fare that is de-licious! Eggs bennie with salmon was cooked perfectly. Hollandaise was yummy and not too heavy. Lemon ricotta pancakes were airy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness served with yummy, WARM syrup at no special request! Wow. The staff is very well trained. Robert, the owner, frequents the customers tables in a sincere, friendly manner and is very hands-on, always happy to help! A definite YES!

Good thing there was no wait because with the quality of the food, we wouldn’t have stopped here otherwise. My fiancée ordered the breakfast tacos which were okay except for the fact that the pico was on top of the HOT beans. The tortillas were also stale. I went for the Pick 2 For You option and ordered the chicken chop salad with the Monterey Club. The salad was mediocre with stale tortilla chips also. Not really a fan of the dressing that came on the side. I will say I am more than willing to come back again to try out something like the Lemon Ricotta pancakes but our first impression sucked. The server also only came around about 3 times and to top it off, my fiancée’s water cups constantly smelled of eggs. I also hope that this place offers some alcohol next time we decide to drop in.

Cute little place, the food was outstanding, only problem was our waitress that day, she lacked on checking on us often, wasn’t too bad but wish she was more attentive. I would definitely come here again. I had the avocado toast, so delicious and my husband had the waffle(oh my gosh so good). Prices reasonable and food so much better then your typical Denny’s or ihop.

OK. Back to try their breakfast. Ordered a traditional breakfast of 2 scrambled eggs(small amount), small piece of smoked ham, home fries, toast and hot tea. with tax $ 12.50. Pricey for what I got. Food came in proper time but was not what I consider hot. Should have sent it back. By the time I finished, it was cold. Manager type guy came buy after I finished to see if all was well and I told him about the not hot food. He didn’t seem to be too concerned. May not go back.

I love this place. You go inside and the ambiance makes you feel like you are visiting some cute European café. The service is great, greeted with a smile and asked several times if you are okay and do you need anything. Now the food, its all made from scratch and as a foodie I know. The bacon is butchered cut quality, pancakes are unique such as their carrot pancakes, lemon ricotta pancakes, delicious. It’s a great place to sit and talk and just feel relaxed.

My husband and I were so excited that a First Watch opened in N. Miami/Aventura area! We practically lived at the one in Orlando on Dr. Phillips! The new place here in Aventura is ADORABLE. Cute furniture, extremely bright with windows all around to let the sunlight in. Wooden table floors, very modern cabin feel inside. The inside décor is a definite upgrade to our fave spot in Orlando… It’s a lot homier with a modern twist. FOOD was the best part… I got the eggs with the Avocado Toast. The Avocado is so on point, with lemon, seasoning and a little oil and the eggs steamed to perfection. So simple, healthy and DELICIOUS! My husband got his go-to…The Chiki-changa…Which I recommend to anyone who likes chorizo. We shared a large fluffy buttermilk pancake, sweet and tasty. Just Delightful. And of course freshly squeezed orange juice. YUM!!! Service was incredible as well! So excited they opened up near my house… Will be a regular! Thank you First Watch!
