I ventured to this store this morning, looking for a wrench so I fix the pipe underneath my sink. It was easy to find and I was glad to find a place selling café cubano next store. The store is tiny and grubby but I didn’t mind. I was curious about the customer service. Immediately after I walked in, a few folks standing near the counter said«buenos dias.» That’s nice. I was feeling overwhelmed by the wrench selection, and the old man behind the counter asked what I was looking for. I speak pretty fluent Spanish, but I don’t know plumbing terms in Spanish, so I defaulted to Spanglish and hand gestures to describe what I was seeking. The old man was very helpful. He immediately found the perfect wrench, opened up its plastic container, and demonstrated how to use it. The woman working with him was also very pleasant. You don’t get this level of service at Home Depot, in my experience. If you do not speak Spanish, be prepared to use a lot more hand gestures! :-)
