Cozy hidden treasure! I’ve yet to try a salad as good as the ones I’ve had here!

Cosy spot off the beaten path. Soft music, open kitchen, delightfully attentive owner-hostess. The food is wonderful, we had the burrito and quesadilla. Portions are generous, we shared the burrito and we’re still full. Come to this wonderful family restaurant.

One of my very favorite places in Miami — went here on Saturday night for my birthday dinner. We were a small group — 6 adults, one kid. It was fairly early, but I was surprised how quiet the restaurant was! The menu has changed slightly since the last time I was there and I was heartbroken to find out that they no longer make the homemade corn ravioli — probably one of the best things I have eaten. There was some solace in the corn tamales — just the ravioli filling, but nothing can quite replace the full dish. The owner told us that she makes all of it and there just wasn’t enough demand, so please, go to California bistro and request this dish. You will be glad you did! I ended up getting the pumpkin ravioli — still a very solid choice, as evidenced by me all but licking my plate :)

Not impressed with the food and the service was below par comparing for the price you pay for a lunch meal. I would give 3 stars if it was $ 9.99

What a great little place! I ordered the strawberry chicken salad with an ice tea. Right off the bat I knew the place was going to be fantastic when I tasted the ice tea. Wow. Then while I was waiting for the salad they brought a little piece of bread toast with olive tapenade followed by the warmest and yummiest bread. Holy moly. I was in a healthy mood so I thought the salad was going to be blahhh. No no no. Super fresh ingredients and they even make their own dressing! I eat the whole thing and was only half way hungry. If you are looking for a good quality restaurant come to this little treasure. Lastly my server was nice and sweet!

I used to come here and used to like it a lot. the owners are super nice and my orange avocado pecan candied Idk what else salad is amazing. But last time we went we wanted fish tacos, and asked the waitress if the fish was breaded /dep fried, she said not… but It was… not good if you’re trying to eat gluten free… and the waitress has been there for years. so not sure what she understands by deep fried and breaded… I love that they’re trying to do organic. Will keep coming but will have to show pictures next time we want to ask about the fish…

Really love this place. Food is fresh and they have delicious salads, Mexican, pasta and daily specials. I come quite often for lunch and haven’t had a bad dish yet. Only downside is food is a little pricey and parking is limited.

For Valentine’s lunch, my friend ordered a ton of different things for the whole family. I have never been to the restaurant, but must have driven by at least 3000 times. Anyway, I was able to taste the burrito-amazing, the tamales-super amazing paired with a side of sour cream and fresh tomato salsa in a vinegary dressing, just delicious. I had the salad with chicken, mandarin, pecans, Apple, and it was really great! When we picked up the lunch order, I met the owners. They are the nicest, sweetest people! I love supporting local businesses. Can’t wait to go back and try more things! Oh I forgot to mention that they give the table bread, with this yummy olive spread. Delicious!!!

A little hidden treasure you wouldn’t think much of it driving by and to think the food is amazing. I’ve been coming here since they opened I think it’s been about 15 years now and I have never been disappointed. My favorite of all dishes is the chicken picatte with gnocchi in alfredo sauce which are prepared to perfection. but in the mist of that perfection we can’t forget the soups of the day which are all made with fresh ingredients either the Cream of carrot or as someone would just think a regular cream of potato soup. But there’s nothing regular about any of the food that comes out of the kitchen.

I being going to this place for many years and all the food is great and excellent, everything is fresh and daily prep a la minuta. The salads are excelent with a fresh and homemade dressing, made by the owner. The meat(churrasco) is USDA choice angus beef, the chicken has a special marinade with high quality herbs, all the seafoods are fresh, the marinara sauce is made by them because i saw the chef making it a lot of times, is the best salsa in all florida. The good thing about this wonderful place that you can see the kitchen and how they made your food. Nothing frozen, nothing pre-made. The home made pastas are all the raviolis in the menu and the stuffings are made by the kitchen with love. This place is being in the miami area almost 19 years and not to much people know about it. This is the perfect spot for have a great meal like homemade. It sad to hear a bad reviews for this place because is a hidden gem. Try it and you will see. Ask for the specials of the day made by the Chef Vickie. Feel like home in here because as soon as you start going there, the waiter and the chef know wat you usually eat and the things you like. everyone’s are great people and great service.

This place is a hidden gem just outside of Brickell. I’ve never been disappointed with the food — love the Macho Combo or the California Orange Salad… Do think it’s a little pricey for a salad though, almost $ 20!

It’s cheap food dressed and described as something more authentic than it is. The menu is a bizarre conglomeration of Tex Mex and pseudo Italian dishes, which all somehow sound similar to each other. Four of six pasta offerings were chicken, which looked suspiciously like the triangular chunks of frozen chicken that come in large bags in wholesale stores like Costco or GFS. The pastas are supposedly homemade. The one I saw did not appear to be so, but maybe the other ones were. Homemade pasta has a certain texture and density to it that’s instantly recognizable if you are familiar with it. The burrito was the description of insipid; ground beef, salsa and guacamole… The appetizers and other«Mexican» dishes were all simply different packaging materials for the same salsa, guacamole, and either ground beef or chicken. The burrito and Costco style chicken pastas are all $ 15 and up. Also on the menu is Swai, a bottom of the barrel fish, similar to Basa or Pollock(which is the kind of fish Wendy’s uses). An entire bag of Swai costs $ 8 retail. It’s even lower quality than Tilapia. No wonder it was fried; it’s the only way to make swai palatable. Yes, they offer delicious fresh bread, but one small roll arrived for a table of two, which the waiter unceremoniously almost tossed on our table. Splitting that one roll would have been a golf ball sized portion for each of us. Also, it was burnt. If you must go there, order the Margherita pizza. It is outstanding, and at $ 10, the only reasonably priced item on the menu.

Run down place where the people in charge think everything they prepare/serve is delicious, including a pear dessert that I could easily prepare in my house any day of the week after a long long day. I asked for a house Cabernet to wash down my «mouthwatering» dish. The wine was bad so I sent it back. The waiter asked me «What kind of wine would you prefer?» Just bring any red wine in good condition, I replied. He brought me the same bad wine. I gave up.

Fave new spot close to home. Everything here is made to order and soo fresh. They make their own bread and is delish. The menu has a lot of healthy options and is vegetarian friendly. The soups are very good, especially the lentin. They will modify any of the dishes upon request. Great place for lunch or dinner.

GREAT lunch restaurant. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. They have daily specials and the wait staff is extremely friendly and explains the menu clearly. I love the seating since you feel like you are outdoors, but you are in the comfort of AC in the covered patio area. Quesadillas are fresh and made to order. I also really enjoyed a Salmon burger that was on special one day. Oh! and their salads are AMAZING. The parking lot is not ideal, but there is still plenty of parking. It is very near brickell which it makes it convenient to get to during the weekday lunch rush.

The best spontaneous find ever. We were in the car after work trying to think of somewhere new to go to for dinner, and thanks to the magic Unilocal gods, this popped up on our«Nearby Restaurants» radar. The cutest garden/homey décor and warm greetings by all the friendly waiters were instantly a great first impression. We noticed there was a sign indicating that the restaurant used mostly fresh organic ingredients, which is a huge plus. Service was excellent, very quick. And they serve fresh warm bread that is made in-house. The menu has tons of options and is divided into a Mexican section and an Italian section. You will not go wrong with whatever you’re in the mood for. The chicken tacos, chiles rellenos, and chicken piccata were freaking Ah-maze!!! Can’t wait to come here again!
