TERRIBLESERVICE at this location. I have been to Freshii at other locations and loved it every time, but I have had two bad experiences in Wynwood. I will not be returning. To start off, I went there on a Tuesday evening, it was 6.40 p.m. and from outside it looked like they had already closed down. I open the door and nobody greets me, I ask if they are still open and a woman finishing cleaning the whole kitchen said yes. After checking on Unilocal I realized that they actually close at 8.30 p.m., but obviously they get ready to get out waaaaay before! I ordered my salad, the same that I always get at other Freshii locations and waited for my food. When I got my salad I couldn’t see a bit of goat cheese on it which is supposed to be part of the salad. I went back to the counter and asked the girl if she could add it since it didn’t seem to be anywhere. She told me that she had already put a «huge spoon» of it inside. I grabbed a fork, started moving the lettuce around and ask her to point at the huge spoon of goat cheese. She was unable to find it. She went back to the kitchen to get goat cheese, annoyed, complaining to her co-worker about my request. I always wondered why Coyo was packed and not them, well now I understand!

I am working my way through their bowls and they are all delicious. But the Spicy Lemongrass soup is the winner. Yum

Good idea. Decent food. Slowest service. Guy making food was super relaxed. Moving as slow as possible. Seemed pretty chill, but he could have sped it up some. Soooooooo slow

I’ve been here a few times. Only decide on it when I need food quick but don’t have time to stand in line.(This place never has a line-which says a lot) Sorry but the staff isn’t personable and has never made an impression. I’ve tried the Buddha bowl and the pangoa bowl. All the food is BLAND and tastes like it’s made with NOLOVE. The first time I had the pangoa bowl(added quinoa n protein) I was almost done eating when i realized they forgot to add the bbq dressing. The second time(and my last time here) I asked for the dressing on top and that’s all i could taste. I felt like I was eating bbq sauce. I agree that they need more sauces– a chipotle aioli would be nice instead of only offering siracha on already bland food. Even though I hadn’t ate all day I threw away the bowl and my friend threw away his small burrito. Ive had a decent smoothie once before(can’t really mess up strawberry banana) but 2 others I tried weren’t very good. Waste of 30 $. I left super hungry and will start making lines at other places. Wanted to like it here but am never recommending this place

Had come down to Wynwood to eat at a new pop up hot spot but when I pulled up the line wrapped around the block so I knew I had to find something else. Every place I came across was packed and I was starving! Mind you this is on a Sunday… remember when wynwood was dead on Sundays? Lol. I saw a beautiful photo of their vegan chili bowl out front and I was sold! Went in, ordered and got my food within 5 minutes. Not disappointed at all! Vegan chilli was incredibly hearty and flavorful. got it served over quinoa. just wish whoever fixed up my plate wasn’t so stingy with the avocado. They got free wifi too!

I work on wynwood and I usually go to freshii to get food. The Asian soup is(was) my favorite… They are very inconsistent with the flavor and the vegetables… Today the celery tasted horrible, the rice noodle were not rice noodles so for sure is the last time I spend any money in this place.

I expected a little too much with this place. The restaurant design and menu look really attractive. But then come the fast-food alike ordering system… and the ugly plastic bowls and forks. A little disappointing. The food is average and the price fair.

Doing a week of eating vegan. Forgot my lunch and stumbled on to this gem. I had the vegan chili. Sooooo flavorful. I could eat vegan a lot longer if it will all taste like this. Lol. Will definitely be returning.

First time here and I wasn’t disappointed. It truly lived up to its name; the food was extremely fresh and delicious! I had the teriyaki bowl with chicken. It was filling! The portions are pretty decent. I also had the power house smoothie and it was out of control! Not to mention, they have alllll their calories and macronutrient breakdown on their website. Winning!

I love the concept. Fresh, whole, fast food. And this location in wynwood is super cute and comfy. But I was not impressed with the food. I had the Baja burrito with falafel. Most of the burrito was quinoa which is fine with me but I could not figure out why there was absolutely no seasoning on the quinoa– Not even a pinch of salt. Also it was overcooked and mushy. I usually dry toast mine(without oil) first before boiling and that gives it a great flavor and texture. And the falafel was dry. And if you eat a lot of falafel like I do you know its pretty hard to screw up. Try Maoz, Oriental bakery, Rice house of kabob or Arabian knife for example. All amazing and naturally healthy without trying to hard. I think the entire wrap could have tied together nicely if they simply offered some sauces on the side. Like tahini, mustard, kimchi, hoisin, harissa, pesto, soy, teriyaki, salsa … ANYTHING! They literally had one bottle of Sriracha at the silverware stand and that was it. BORING! I will go back if I am in the area because the food is clean, healthy, fairly-priced and filling and the location is cute but they need to do so much more in the flavor department.

Too expensive for what you get. The food isn’t cooked with sauces or spices. All you get is steamed or raw ingredients prepared in a bowl or wrap. A salad in the size of a cereal bowl is more than $ 7(and meat cost extra). The ingredient itself isn’t very fresh either; I got a customized rice noodle bowl(picture included), and the cucumber looked mushy and tasted bitter, the kimchi was too ripen, and the dish didn’t come with any dressing(Not sure if the dressing costs extra but I did forget to ask, but I also wasn’t offered any either). I did however liked my «Freshii Green Smoothie», the blended yogurt covered up the taste of kale and spinach well enough to make them enjoyable through a straw. One star for the Smoothie, another star for the nice interior design of the restaurant.

I was trying to eat at a neighboring restaurant and talked myself out of it because of the line. My party of four decided this place Freshii didn’t have a line and looked healthy so we entered. I can’t pass up a chance to try a new place I haven’t been. Upon entering I had to grab a menu because the wall menu was too far back and I couldn’t read it(I forgot my glasses). Thankfully, they had menus this was a plus. I read the menu and decided on the metaboost. Anything would goat cheese gains my interest. You can choose between a salad or wrap. I chose salad. I asked a couple questions to the cashier for help deciding, but her body language made it seem like we were suppose to know how to order at this place. I gave her the benefit of doubt considering that we did walk in 15 minutes before closing. I waited maybe 10 – 15 minutes this«salad.» When it arrived I think I stared at it for quite some time… Giggling. As it came with a large amount of spinach but barely anything else. You could barely even tell goat cheese was added more like tiny particles of goat cheese. The same with the rest of the ingredients in the salad. Not even sure what they were suppose to be from how small they were. I wouldn’t spend $ 10 on each meal here the way I did. I felt like I didn’t receive the value I paid for.

I think they changed their packaging for the bowls. These now look like $ 5 bowls :(I miss the old ones. More tang for your buck.

So I have been coming here and ordering from here for about two weeks now. I love their salad bowl! I am not a fan of their wraps, the wrap itself is a little dry. I haven’t tried the burritos yet. I always get a green juice and froyo, and both are equally delicious! I love how you can add any topping you want to the froyo. The salads are awesome because they don’t add salt or too much oil, unless you ask for the sauce on top of the salad. The restaurant is nice and clean on the inside, and of course, there is outdoor seating as well. The staff is friendly and they will cater to your needs if you ask.

This place is a huge disappointment, mostly due to there indifferent and unwelcoming staff. I am a huge fan of Wynwood as a location and a «feeling», as many are here, and Freshii has about as good a location as you can have: Right on the hot corner two buildings away from Panther coffee and a 60-secnd walk from Gramps. Throw in some great food, and even without that, a great staff to make up for it(since I, like many, would patronize outstanding service again even if the food was just OK), and you have a guaranteed winner. Freshii completely fails here. Two of us walked in and there were three employees behind the counter who seemed to be in conversation(in Spanish?) over something on a menu they were examining. They barely looked up to acknowledge us standing at the counter, and when they did, their«acknowledgement» consisted of eye contact — no «Hello», no offers to help with decision-making as I was staring at the considerable number of options on the menu — you know, basic foodservice stuff, especially when you’re new to the area a can probably bet your patrons haven’t been to your place of business before. Isn’t this basic stuff? The food was just OK — and for the price, it was bad — and the service was poor. I may come here to sit outside and see the scenes of Wynwood, but wont buy more than a bottled water from this place.

They have horrible environmental practices. Everything to go? Way to create more garbage on this planet. They put all their salad ingredients in a plastic bag to mix them up, then they throw the bag away! It’s called a MIXINGBOWL! We all have a responsibility to this planet, act like it.

I’ve heard good things but today didn’t reflect the word of mouth. Tasteless food menu item I ordered wasn’t even how it was described in menu. I ordered Fiesta salad. Said field greens on menu. I was given romaine lettuce. But gross romaine.. Like chemical tasting romaine lettuce. Barely anything else in this salad. People who work there are nice & place was clean. why I gave 2 stars. But food is not good or worth it’s hype.

I was excited to see a seemingly health focused lunch spot open in Wynwood. I liked the no frills menu(bowl, salad or burrito), and that pretty much everything is vegetarian, since you pay extra for protein of choice(animal or tofu). That said, I was shocked to see the nutritional breakdown of some of the menu items on their website. Their lunch bowls are up to 900 calories, without added protein. And they are super small, no idea where all of those calories come from. They fill the bowl with mostly cheap rice noodles and skimp on the healthy stuff. The only things on the menu under 500 calories are the oatmeal and the green salad with chickpeas. So you’re one of those lucky people who says, who cares about calories? Even still, the prices are high for what you get. My $ 9 salad was mainly romaine lettuce with a few chick peas and some corn(non GMO I hope but who knows) with hardly any sun dried tomatoes. I can easily make that at home for under $ 3.00, or pick up a salad twice the size and half the price at Publix. The cashier seemed bored, impatient and completely un-enthused. Maybe she hadn’t had her morning oatmeal, but suck it up and put a smile on your face. It wouldn’t hurt them to serve breakfast all day. Parking is also a challenge, since they’re right next to the ever so popular Panther coffee. This will be a no-repeat, and I don’t see them sticking around for long.

Sadly, this was my negative culinary experience of Basel week. I stopped by Sunday looking forward to eat something different and healthy after an indulgent Basel Saturday night. However, I was left hungry and had to eat somewhere else shortly 2 hours after. From what I gather, Freshii is supposed to be a healthier version of the ubiquitous«chop chop bowl» spots that spread over Miami in the early aughts. However, like these places, the bulk of your plate is rice with tiny pieces of chicken. Cashier service was pleasant when I placed my order, and the wait time to pick it up was reasonable given the art festival crowds. However, I was disappointed to see that most of my plate seemed to be mostly brown rice and carrot shavings. I had to dig deep to find a couple of smallish chicken pieces. If that was the case, I would have certainly paid for Extra Chicken but don’t recall having the option. Though the cashier warned me, the teriyaki they serve was on the salty side, and actually a little too salty for my preference. I ended up having to go elsewhere for a smoothie to rehydrate after. Sorry, freshii, hope you guys improve sometime!
