Galerie Adler Bertin Toublanc

This is the Miami outpost of the French gallery Bertin Toublanc.
I was recently here to see the latest work from local artists Stian Roenning and Alexis Mincolla aka Team Turbo Sex. Their exhibit Together for Never was cool and fit in well with the overall contemporary, things that make you go hmmm, art work of the gallery.
This gallery is smart and has a sharp sense of humor and style. There are two floors and it is mostly a loft like feel/​layout. I always end up checking out the smaller rooms though, since I always think the best pieces are always just off the beaten path, kind of like a Hide n Go Seek Fab Art game.
I love an opening night party as much if not more than the next gallery hoppin’ girl. Who doesn’t love the pomp and circumstance of the cool art scene crowd and their entourages, especially after a few of the comp cocktails? However, I’d prefer to check this place out sans the crowds on a nice, quiet day as many of these pieces are best enjoyed with time to take in the details.
The exhibitions change monthly and this gallery is open for Second Saturdays.
