很地道中国菜!.Very authentic. We like to order take out to enjoy from the vantage point of Biscayne Bay, on our boat. If you do not have a boat, no worries! A fine selection of local Miami charter boats may be found on

Gourmet Gourmet has won me over. Ordering through the phone was fast and easy. The food was at my door steps in no time. Hot and fresh no doubt about that. Tried the Mongolian beef, Teriyaki Chicken, and Singapore Noodles. Decent portions and everything was on point. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best take out Chinese restaurants. I’ve been going here for over twenty years, and the quality of the food is consistent and delicious. The staff becomes a part of your life, your family. Everyone that I have introduced to this place to has become a regular. A very special place.

By far the freshest and cleanest Chinese food in Miami. The general Tso Chicken is done the right way here. I have been ordering from them since they were located in Coral Gables. I highly recommend this place.

We ordered at 6:33 pm tonight and food just arrived at 8:56 pm. two hours and twenty three minutes after ordering. Unacceptable! Cold food, and no apology or discount. I ask for discount and grumpy delivery guy says no and takes food back!!! Leading up to this, I called repeatedly to check on status, we were ravenous and French lady who answers phone(and doesn’t hear well) just keeps saying to be patient, it will come. No apology, just telling me, I’m begging you to be patient. Weird. On status request call number 3, I ask to speak to owner after an hour and a half of waiting. She says he will call back but he never does. Never order from here, very bad service and principles. Can’t comment on food, but would not trust for delivery.

Food had no flavor and was soggy. Not good at all. Two dinners and the price was $ 40.00. Typically, Chinese takeout has combo options but not here. Just a poor choice unfortunately.

Fast and hot delivery. Ordered a variety of dishes but they all tasted pretty the same. Best Chinese delivery in the Gables area by far. Just wish it had a more diverse flavor.

Good stuff!!! Delivery was on time, food was hot and tasty!!! The house fried rice was great! The thin rice noodles were also very good! Nothing bad to say about this place!!!

Gave it a try despite some of the bad reviews and I’m glad I did! The fried rice was great! The honey garlic chicken was over battered for my taste… but that’s something personal. I will definitely be back!

Took a chance on this place for dinner with my girlfriend. The mixed reviews made me a bit cautious, so I decided to go and order at the restaurant for takeout. We also ran into the locked door problem some reviewers mentioned, but after that, everything was great. The staff was incredibly friendly and inviting; the kitchen was incredibly clean(as a chef, I can spot some of the more nuanced sanitation issues of which I saw none); in and out the door in about 10 – 15 min; and there is plentiful parking in the rear. Certainly not the best Chinese I’ve ever had in my life, but it was pretty good, nonetheless, and at a reasonable price. And I ate like a pig without a food coma… a rare feat for Chinese takeout. Overall, my girlfriend and I were thrilled with the experience and will certainly be returning. This place might seem pretty sketchy, but think of it like your favorite dive bar. It has all of the familiar symptoms of a typical, stomach pain-inducing, regret-filled takeout joint you’ve been to in the past. But at the end of the day, you know it was better than any other option out there.

The food is really good. But yesterday I don’t know what happened to the service. I ordered my food the man over the phone didn’t even ask me cash or credit. So when the delivery man comes I had to call and pay over the phone and the weird part is that the delivery man snatches the credit card from me to get the number on it. Like what is that? I found that super weird.

This is the scariest place I’ve ever been to. I was tired after a day of business in Miami and saw the four star review. Something must be very, very, very wrong. This was like out of a scary movie. When I went to the door it was locked I thought they were closed and the guy came to the door and opened it and let me in. It’s basically a takeout place. They serve me in a Styrofoam take-out container on there Bar where people can eat inside. The characters behind the counter were scarier. The wonton soup was bland and the shrimp with vegetables was acceptable even if it was a small portion. This is a don’t go to place unless you’re starving and find yourself in this not so good neighborhood.

We ordered delivery to the Hotel St Michel and the food arrived in 30 minutes, screaming ass hot, incredible flavor and huge and I mean huge portions! Very reasonable prices and great person who took the order and the delivery guy was great also. You won’t go wrong ordering from these guys!

I’m under the weather. Being sick is always tough, but food usually helps. So I decided to order some Chinese(anything Asian is my comfort food). But I wasn’t so thrilled with the results. We decided to order General Tso’s chicken, shrimp lo mein, an egg roll(to share), and some wonton soup. The lo mein was actually very tasty. It had some nice, large size shrimp in it, and the noodles were flavorful, without being overly sauced. The egg roll was crispy, and not too greasy, and had a nice dipping sauce. The wonton soup on the other hand was a little bland. It could’ve used more salt or maybe some soy. But the dumplings were tasty. My main issue, and biggest disappoint, was with the chicken. General Tso’s is typically a sweet, fried chicken that’s tender with a hint of spice. But this was sort of chewy, and a little bit tough. Also, the sauce was a bit muted. Worse yet, the whole dish was overpowered by a burnt taste. It tasted like a fire had been extinguished in this takeout container! I decided to call Gourmet Gourmet, to resolve the issue. But my complaints fell on death ears. The bottom line was that they’ve been in business over 20 years, so they know how to make good Chinese food. The woman who answers the phone, and takes orders, even put the chef on the line, but he again was uninterested in a resolution. A simple«I’m sorry you don’t like the chicken, but allow us to send you a different dish, at 50% off», would’ve been fine. Or really any other gesture. I even said that if they couldn’t resolve the issue, that I wasn’t ordering from them again. But that didn’t make a dent in the situation either. They have some good food, but the General Tso’s isn’t one of their best dishes. And on a side note, doing something for a long time doesn’t necessarily mean your good at it.

WOKMASTER I first discovered this most authentic Chinese café adjacent to the reknown Miami favorite La Rosa Bakery some three years ago. Ten years before this location Owner Chef Jose Sang was already doing his magic wok thing in Coral Gables for at least two decades. The kitchen is equivalent to the size of three eastern king beds side by side. A two burner wok stove, a deep frier, and four telephones ringing of the hook answered by relatives. The proficiency level in their battle station environment is off the chart. Pei Wei doesn’t come close. Here’s the caveat… the front door is locked/blocked and you can only enter through the back where you may find a free parking space. A very small unlit sign hangs over the unglamorus entry way. Once you enter, stay to the right, follow your nose, and walk towards the front. One two seat ultra small table and the counter in front of the kichen is all you’ll see. On top of the counter are all sorts of take out containers along with many upright and opened paper bags waiting to be fulfilled with their call in orders. Food in general is very much like picking perfume or flowers. Partiality to frequency and colors is unique to the individual. The taste of Coca Cola is not universally homogeneous. For instance in China they add more sugar to their soda drink. Here in Miami the Cubans are a dominate culture and so the flavor expectations are unique to them while never acquiring the taste for spicy cuisines. When you receive your order, the paper bag will be heavy in weight, hot to the touch and oozing with the most appetizing bouquet attributed to Chef Sang’s wok mastery!

I ordered from this place because of the raving reviews. This was my first time trying a Chinese place out here in Miami(I’m from VA) and to be quite honest it wasn’t «the best.» Their general tso’s was okay in my opinion, but I’ve had better. Their combination fried rice and lo mein wasn’t anything exciting. Very bland. I must say their service was great though.

Five stars, that’s right, maybe not because it’s the best Chinese take-out in the world, but because it’s one of the best in Miami, even Florida. And this is something that it’s starting to irritate me. We have a healthy community of Chinese people, yet in Miami, there is really only one great Chinese restaurant(well, maybe two), and then a million crappy Chinese joints. The food at Gourmet Gourmet is fresh, and that is a big plus when it comes to Chinese food. Also, they use lots of vegetables, which is another plus because real Chinese food uses lots of vegetables. The sauces that they use are not your typical Chinese restaurant sauces, they are always a tad different, adding an extra ingredient or something to give depth. In other words, this is not your run of the mill Chinese take-out. I am an avid fan of curried things. My measuring stick for Chinese restaurants is «curry chicken». If you can do a good curry chicken, most things should be OK, because it shows you can cook chicken, vegetables, and mix in some sauce. This approach basically summarizes Chinese food in America. If the chicken is hard, the veggies are overcooked, or the sauce is lame, or if all three don’t gel, then you’re disqualified. So I ordered a curry chicken lunch special, and to summarize, the thing was delicious. Whenever I order this dish, I specifically ask for the highest level of heat(very spicy), although I must say that I have never had anything hot enough despite my requests. To my surprise, Gourmet Gourmet delivered a very spicy curry which I enjoyed very much. The reason: I found a whole gigantic red pepper, the size of my finger, when I was done with my food. I didn’t bite into it, that would be crazy, but I honestly and truthfully thank this restaurant for the gesture. Other things I have ordered after that experience have been good also. Pepper steak, honey garlic or sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef, cashew chicken, everything has a very unique and distinctive taste. Even the wonton soup tastes like mustard seeds. This place blows my mind every time I order something new. As a side note, I wished the fried rice was a bit better. It is good, fresh, but not the type you can eat by itself. Also, employees here are«in a hurry». Be prepared to spit out your order, be prepared to pick up your order and run out of the building, and be prepared to receive the silent treatment, all of this depending on the stars, or occasionally. Other than that, Gourmet Gourmet is a winner. Solid.

I ordered delivery. After he took my order he hung up too fast for me to get the total price. I ordered beef and broccoli dinner size with crab rangoon and a can of soda so I wasn’t to worried about it. It should have came to about $ 16, according too the menu online. They said it would take 45 min to arrive. It took them 1 hr and 15 min and the total was $ 23.90 + $ 2.00 delivery charge. It wasn’t very tasty, was pretty bland. The beef was chewy and half of the crab rangoons were soggy. After my hunger pains went away I couldn’t finish. Waste of time and money! The soda was the best part
