This is a surprisingly compact station considering it’s importance, with waiting area high-density seating ringed by vending machines. Small restaurant and convenience store within gas station at the corner will feed travelers well. Cabs usually outside, and food truck appears around lunch time to feed cab drivers and adjoining car rental businesses. Huge bus and private car parking lot along NW28th Street in rear, offering long bench seats along walls for travelers. Gracious pleasant Hispanic lady on ticket counter has been there for years, as has the manager. Half a block from two bus lines on LeJeune Road, which borders the airport. Planes taking off overhead all day. Airport Metrobus/Metrorail station six blocks away. Panhandling drifters telling stories fairly common, yet patrol cars even more common so generally safe.
