Hit Zone in Tropical Park was a decent place to hit some balls. The batting cages were empty on a Sunday afternoon so we were able to take full advantage. Each token you bought gave you 18 balls. Baseball bats and helmet were free of charge to use. The facility was well kept up and cleaned of any garbage or debris.

They don’t even deserve 1 star but that’s the minimum you have to give. If you have a business with hours of operation I expect you to honor those hours. You only get one chance to make a first impression and you failed miserably. On a sunny day 10 minutes after your supposed hours of operation 2:30 no sign of life. Bad business.

Had a great time with my son working on his batting game. You get 18 balls per token. We purchased 10 tokens for $ 15. You can jump between speeds for baseball between 40 up to 90 mph. I highly recommend it for anyone in training.

My baseball dreams died when I realized I lacked two key elements of success: Talent and dedication! But for those other times when I want to take a swing at a ball moving at 90MPH and prove something to myself, The Hit Zone delivers in a pinch. This place is located in beautiful Tropical Park and while it is fairly small, has a nice collection of batting cages for both baseball and softball, as well as training tunnels. My personal experience with automatic pitching machines is that they often jam and perform less than perfectly, and while this is true of the machines at the Hit Zone, the staff is quick to jump in and fix them, and make sure you replay the balls that were lost. There is even a 3G Atec machine for those who have talent and dedication and the skills to hit white bullets out of the park. The prices are reasonable(machines are token-based and the tunnels are rented by the half-hour) and the rentable equipment adequate. The place tends to fill up in the evenings and especially on the weekends, so make sure to put aside enough time and patience for your turn.
