I don’t know where to begin, upon entering, the place is spotless clean with nice relaxing music and ambiance. We ordered 5 entrees which included egg Foo young, super fried rice, shrimp in love, steamed fish, and beef with eggplant. The food came out very fast. The servers were accompanying and service is top notch. The portions were huge as well. This is the hidden gem of miami of Chinese restaurants. The egg Foo young came with three servings with a gravy out of this world. the super fried rice was definitely super, with chorizo„ beansprouts, shrimp, everything… This is definitely the best fried rice of my life. The steamed fish was like butter and tasty, it was served with bok choy and scallions. The shrimp in love made my stomach in love with this dish. As a shrimp lover, this is definitely one if the best shrimp dishes of my life. Shrimp in love was served with walnuts in a creamy lychee condense milk sauce that was just amazing. The beef with eggplant came with a delicious sauce and the eggplant was made perfectly. Everyone must visit this place. I’m now a regular and I’m hooked. It only gets better and better. Thank you Hong Kong for leaving our stomachs happy and we still have leftovers since portions were huge. Thank you again!

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened in the 80’s — the décor is the same since it opened — the carpet is filthy, the tables were very pretty back then but now they are just faded & looks old — the food is good — but they need to remodeled the business!

This family owned and operated joint has been open for almost 30 years; not surprising, plentiful, good, fresh dishes, good service at a reasonable price. Casual ambiance, neighborhood, family dining.

So this is not traditional Chinese food to begin with. The place has that look but thats about it. When I placed my order I wasnt sure if I should ask for fried rice or rice and beans… The honey garlic chicken is white meat chicken, but its coated in so much batter that it should be called fried dough with a hint if chicken. The bean sprouts in my fried rice were undercooked as well and they charge $ 2 for hot tea. Service is nothing really to talk about but honestly I’ve had better food at a take out Chinese restaurants. Dont waste your time…

I like to get food from here while my friends and I play dominos around the corner. Everything is flavorful and the quality of the food is unsurpassable. All white meat, lean pork and beef, crisp, never frozen veggies. and name brand sauces(or made from scratch). I’ve always felt that if a place has good white rice and egg rolls(the basics) then the rest of the food will follow suit. You can learn a lot about a restaurant by ordering the most common sides. if they put so much effort into such menial foods, you can rest assured they hold all of their food at a high regard. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area. They also deliver too! I’ve had it delivered home a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. Nothing is spilled, lacking in sustenance, or cold when it reaches my dinner table.

Excellent home style Chinese food! Ingredients are fresh and the customer service is good. Highly recommended if you are searching for good fresh Chinese food in Miami at a fair price.

Awesome chinese food. The honey garlic chicken is all white meat, coated in a crunchy breading, and smothered in rich honey sauce. It’s great. The eggrolls are crunchy and filled with pork and veggies — literally everything I’ve ordered from here is delicious. The owner is really nice and when I go for take out — he’s always there.

They have a great variety of food && great prices. Our family of five eats for $ 20. The service is good and the atmosphere is cozy. Oh, and a lot of vegetarian options. My family and I go there every weekend.

So I’ll start off from the beginning. I first called to place an order, and I was put on hold for a bit. When she finally answers and I begin to place my order, there is a baby crying in the background so I can hardly hear her and vise versa. When I show up to pick up my order, she hadn’t even submitted it yet to the kitchen and the baby turned out to be hers! It was sitting right by her in a stroller. When I tell her who I am, she begins to rush my order and stays talking to people I guess she knew. I waited another 20 minutes after I got there. Regarding the service, it was horrible from the beginning. They aren’t even Chinese, they are all Hispanic. At least the ones outside the kitchen. They spoke to me in Spanish since I got there. When I get my order, I noticed there were no fortune cookies so I asked her for them and she said she had none. Regarding the food, the special fried rice was good(the bucket size they say serves 8): about $ 22. They really fill it up with the usual meats which is hard to find these days. The honey chicken was nothing special(large order): about $ 12. It was actually extremely expensive for what it was. Spent about $ 40 all together with tax. I really don’t know if I’ll be back. It was a bipolar experience. If it wasn’t for the fried rice, I wouldn’t even give the place 2 stars.

I have mixed feelings about tis restaurant. I order a lot from here because they deliver and the Canton by my house is gross. The wonton and egg drop soup are great and sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice is delicious and has generous portions of shrimp, pork, and chicken. The egg rolls are gross and have pink gushy mystery stuff inside. My big complaint are the prices. It’s pretty expensive and they tax you at their own tax rate not the FL tax rate. When I ask they say they can do it. Expect to pay $ 35 for two people for a simple meal and $ 50 for a family of four. Delivery charge to drive three blocks $ 5.
