Jardines de Confucio

Service was good food ok nothing super special they cook with Msg and had to make sure that they don’t add it since I am super allergic to msg. Let’s hope nothing happens. The place also seems kinda out dated. Drove far to this place but really not worth it at all.

My family and I have been eating Confucio’s fried rice for the past four years and we always finish our plate satisfied. Hands down, the best fried rice I’ve eaten anywhere in Miami (or any other city I’ve visited). When I do eat at the restaurant, it’s empty for the most part, which always guarantees a great, personal costumer service.

Very high quality food, great find! The food has an authentic Chinese-​American food that is lacking in Miami with a latin flair and portion size added. I come from having NY Chinese food, this is great stuff!

The honey garlic chicken wings are to die for, it is a must order!!! The service is not the best due to lack of wait staff but the food is fresh and delicious. Don’t judge this restaurant by its appearance because you will leave here satisfied

Finding good Chinese in Doral has been a little hard. Now, there is nothing like New York Chinese. But this is probably the closest. I’ve tried others but they haven’t been as good. Onlyyyyy problem I have is price. Wow even their lunch menus are overpriced. A lunch combination platter in NY is $ 7-​$ 9 with a soda or a egg roll! I do like that they have an open bar *thumbs up* if you don’t mind spending $ 15+ after lunch hrs, then be my guest. In my opinion, I don’t care how good… OVERPRICED!

Our Latino friends don’t mince words whenever they say Jardines de Confucio is the best when it comes to Chinese food. Can that be so absolute ?
After four visits along with surprisingly great tasting meals, we would have to agree with our friend.
Only caveat would be that Chinese cuisine varies from one Latin country to another. Much of it depends on the agricultural and import limitations. Of course taste expectations varies from region to region would also greatly impact the style.
We can only surmise that Chinese cuisine would be more homogeneously authentic during family association gatherings. And again that would be totally and specifically related to their Chinese ethnicity.

Best special fried rice ever. I live around 35 min away from this place and even though there are thousands of Chinese restaurants closer to my house I still prefer Jardines de Confucio.

Great food, but too expensive. $ 31.00 for special fried rice and pepper steak. I haven’t had it in a while and was craving it. After I paid I realized why I haven’t been back for a long time.

Overall: they have great food somewhat messy looking but tasty. However, their service is amongst the worst in Miami.
The food: the food despite looking like a bus ran over it is actually very tasty. I genuinely like their food a lot. It is a bit over prices but still not too bad. If you’re in the area and hungry it’s they are not a bad choice, but be aware that you will have horrible service.
The service: the service (experience) of going to a restaurant is in my opinion the most important part. The service here is just scary! The service here makes me want to run away, which for them is kind of sad. Also, I called them for delivery (after rush hour) and they told me to call back later. Ugh hello, if I’m calling you know it’s cause I’m hungry now, duh! Well, pretty much I’ll never be going back and the large parties of people I used to take with me, yeah they are not going back either. Place sucks horrible service and not worth your time and especially not worth your money. Run away and go else where.

I absolutely love this restaurant. I first tried it in Barranquilla, Colombia when I was a kid and a teen, and I’ve 15 years later I found this place again in Miami. Oh my, oh my, the food is as good as it always has been. Excellent service, the food is well cooked, extremely tasty, and they don’t short-​hand you with the shrimp or any of the sides. The portions are huge, which is lovely. My favorite meal is shrimp fried rice, and broccoli with shrimp and shao mean. If you are in Miami and aren’t visiting this place, you are really truly missing out. I’d travel to Miami just to eat this food again.

I had a terrible experience there, my boyfriend and I ate there. I ordered a wonton soup, crab wontons and a special fried rice. The waiter then brought us two orders on special fried rice. When I asked him, excuse me I only ordered one order he told me I was wrong, nope no way I ordered 1 I said 2 and there was no way he was wrong. Too bad if I thought otherwise there was nothing he could do, and then he walked away. I had ordered a glass of wine and it was empty, He never asked me if I wanted another one. Then when our check came there was an automatic %18 percent gratuity added to our check even though it doesn’t state it on the menu. When I asked the manager, he was even more rude than the waiter. He basically yelled at me because I was upset. The place was terrible, I would never go back there again.

HUGE portions! Very tasty and they deliver. Best Chinese-​American food in Miami.
If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know that I’m a seafood lover but I dare not order shrimp or any seafood from Chinese restaurants. Tried many and they consistently smell horrible or give me food poisoning.
This is the first Chinese restaurant in Miami that I can say offers good food, great prices and VERY large portions. My half order of Shrimp Fried Rice had over 40 shrimp and my Shrimp with Broccoli had plenty of large shrimp.
I had them deliver to my office for the second time last night and everyone was impressed. Very friendly service also.

Food is excellent but you better have cash because they demand you to give them tips. Don’t believe me walk out with out giving them tips
La comida es Buena Por el precio que pagas… Pero la mesonera te demanda y exigen q les de propinas. Algo q no es obligado! La mesera salio hasty el para que demandando su propina porque dice que Ella gana es solo$ 4.50 per hrs. Lo siento Por Ella pero con esq coducta lo que hace es que clientes escriban cosas negativas de un local. Señora si se queja mucho Estudie y supersede !!!

I recently went for lunch.
The food is pretty good, the service was excellent. The lunch portions are very generous and the price is very fair. I have had better Chinese but honestly this place is a very good value. I will be back.

I really had to try to decide if it was a 3 or 4 star… sometimes it is pretty hard to figure it out, so in this particular case I went with various different parts of my experience. First things first, my nail lady explained to me that this was the same Jardines de Confucio as in Barranquilla, Colombia, that she had recognized the owners. Upon hearing this I figured it was necessary to try it to see if it was the same as I remembered.
This is not your corner Chinese takeout place but a nice restaurant and the décor is quite tasteful, and nice. Service was A-​OK, but we did have to ask for chopsticks, as they were not provided. We were given fried noodles as an appetizer, I didn’t relish eating with my fingers and they are impossible to eat with a fork. With it they provided a little serving container (with spoon) that is obviously reused with sweet and sour sauce. So, how do I eat both together without either dipping my fingers into the sauce or well getting sauce all over my fingers after pouring it on my fried noodles? Made me think: «How many people with the same problem end up dipping their fingers in this sauce that obviously is reused?»
Since is it a nice restaurant you don’t have options of a dish that includes, say a soup, a spring roll, rice with your dish. You have to order each thing separately. We weren’t too hungry so we ordered a vegetable fried rice $ 9, and a Shrimp and Scallop stir fried in Salt and Pepper — $ 18. I figured that a rice with nothing but veggies for $ 9 was a tad steep, and $ 18 for a main dish would at least include a soup or a spring roll.
The rice was exactly as I remembered and quite good. The Shrimp and Scallop dish was also good, but considering everything the price and horrid parking pushed my review from a 4 to a 3 star.
If you like South American style Chinese food this is the perfect place. Know that it may be pricey though.

Best Chinese in Miami. Their rice is always on point, always. I get the sweet & sour chicken, never lets me down. The staff is super attentive, always on top of things. It’s a hidden gem, many people don’t know about it. I’m from NY so I’ve had a lot of Chinese in my lifetime. Trust me you’ll love it!

tried this place yesterday for lunch and was quite happy. I ordered the cream of seafood soup and my coworker had the shrimp chow mein.
Our delivery was done really fast, and the portions were huge! My coworker couldn’t even finish it all, he ended up taking some home.
I was so happy with my soup, rich, creamy and so filling.
A great option for lunch
