This place is a DISGRACE. Hear me out. My husband called in an order for 3 omelets, and I had him request they be made WITHOUT pancake batter(IHOP is one of the few establishments that adds pancake batter to their eggs to make them more«fluffier». There’s no way a 3-egg omelet could ever be that big naturally… trust me). Unbeknownst to me at the time, the hostess told my dear old hubby that the batter comes«premixed in the eggs». Upon discovering this lie, I called the restaurant back about 8 minutes later and told them I wanted the omelets SANS pancake batter, and to use natural eggs instead. Most IHOPs will do this upon request, considering the overwhelming amount of low-carb and gluten-free dieters like myself running amuck in this country. Of course, that’s when the fit hit the shan. As I remained on the phone, the hostess then shouts to the cook, «Now she wants to change her order, ten minutes later!!!» The cook(some mysterious soul by the name of «Percy») then shouts, «Well, I already made her omelets! I’m not making them again!!!» All the while, I’m still actively listening, wondering if: A. These people realize I’m still on the other end of the phone, dumbfounded by their rudeness. B. Why the restaurant didn’t offer to use natural eggs in the omelets in the first place, especially since every other IHOP I’ve been to in Miami does it. C. The exact quality of 3 omelets thrown together and cooked in under 8 minutes, and… D. The obvious fact that a corporation as big as IHOP has somehow forgotten that they’re still working for the public. In the end, the manager by the name of «Chester» attempted to speak to us as best he could but didn’t understand very much English. I finally transferred the phone back to my bilingual husband, who conveyed our«omelet discrepancy» to Chester. I guess Chester finally thought it best to lie and say«all eggs in the om’lit are natural because I cook your food and crack them myself.» I was impressed that IHOP managers apparently«cook» your food as well. Of course, poor Chester didn’t realize that Percy the Cook had already admitted to making our three pancake-filled Colorado lovers omelets five minutes earlier. Needless to say, we had a much better experience after ordering omelets from Mr. Rams in Naranja afterward. The eggs there actually come from real chickens rather than a Bisquick box. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

My husband and I walked into iHop today(1÷6÷16) It was empty, there were maybe 3 other tables and several servers sitting down having lunch. We apparently walked in at the wrong time. One of the severs announced that it was 3:53 and told the other waiter it was all him. Which the second server then said he didn’t start until 4:00pm but he sat us anyway. As we looked over the menu the first server continued with his previous tables. The bus boy came out and told him that he needed to serve us, they then proceeded to a quick discussion about how we came in at 3:53 and it wasn’t his turn to serve us. He then came over and proceeded to tell us that he would be right with us. As I looked around the other guests were all staring at us, so my husband and I decided it was time to go. The waiter then went back to the kitchen and had a loud discussion about the time we came in. As we walked out he said nevermind they left. I am very disappointed as this is the closest Ihop to us and go in there regularly. The servers are usually attentive and very helpful, then again we usually arrive before 3:53pm.

This is the worst ihop ever! I know this isn’t only my experience the service just doesn’t seem to be held to any type of standard. It’s so dirty, we have a baby and they told us they only had 2 high chairs they were being used so we had to wait 30 mins just holding her. We had the high chair before we had water to drink. I would expect it being a chain restaurant that it would be held accountable. I can’t even go on about the food. One persons eggs taste like chalk, mine where scrambled and didn’t have much of a taste seems very watery. My husband had steak and eggs the plate came out full of grease you literally could pour it off the plate they cleaned it up and brought it back. another family member had blue berry pancakes they said they weren’t ready so we waited and we were close to being finished eating when we had to go ask about them and they were sitting in the window the whole time. I would just say find anywhere else but here to eat

IHOP seems to be the same everywhere. I’ve been to a few locations and this one is just the same. Our waiter was nice and attentive, we went for breakfast at around 9 on a Monday night so it was pretty empty. My boyfriend got the split decision and I got some waffles and they were delicious as always.

Er, IHOP…“it is what it is”…I wouldn’t normally come here(it’s been several years) but since the Missus offered to treat, I took her up on it. Here’s the particulars for the Cutler Bay branch of the chain… The good: Pleasant, funny host for a Monday morning, seated us quickly… the hash browns were good as was the seasonal pumpkin spice coffee served in a big cup with whipped cream and nutmeg. Not so good: the rest of the food. The colorado omelet had the taste of institutional grade meat, and it wreaked havoc on my digestive tract for several hours after. The chicken and waffles were MEH… no chain restaurant can really do this dish justice. Bad: cleanliness: the table felt sticky and the container holding the syrups had a thick coating of stickiness on it. The hang-down light fixture over the table had a THICK coating of dust. Imagine a dust bunny falling into your so-so food! Also, spotty A/C kept one section(mine) of the building uncomfortably hot, and another section up front really cold. For this area, avoid the chain restaurants, and drive a couple of miles up S. Dixie Hwy. to Walter’s Coffee Shop for a MUCH better breakfast and keep your money in the local economy.

Spending a nice afternoon with my mom. Taking her to IHOP for lunch. Haven’t been here in a while. Food is on it’s way. Love the food, and love my mom. #mom #ihop

I’ve had a better experience at this restaurant before. First of all, once I was seated I felt rushed to place my order, I ordered the 57 cents short stacks, a side of bacon & a side order of scrambled eggs with cheese & my daughter ordered the smiling pancake face. Once the restaurant started to get get busy I hardly seen my waiter, in fact he stopped by to drop the check off. The syrup containers were empty and the table was nearly falling

3⁄5. The host at the front leaves something to be desired. Mumbled and no smile, however our waiter, Sebastian, was extremely attentive and pleasant. He brought out our food in a timely manner and checked in frequently to make sure all was well.

I’ve had some good experiences at this IHOP, but it’s certainly not one of the better ones I’ve been to. First, even when the place is virtually empty, it takes quite a while for the food to come out. I don’t understand why. I’m not really familiar with the intricacies of restaurant management. It can’t be numbers. A few patrons. Two servers. And a couple cooks. Seems sufficient. Dunno. When the food does arrive, it’s generally of the quality you expect from IHOP. I’ve always loved the food, so no problems here. The only problem I DID have on an occasion several months ago was there was a hair in my eggs. That was off putting. But, being from an impoverished background, I’ve found worse stuff in my food before. The waitresses are nice most of the time. There was this one lady who was horrible one time(the same day the hair was in my eggs… correlation perhaps?). When it does get crowded, hope for the best. Not just in terms of service but parking. It can become problematic.

Always good food but they cannot accept credit or debit cards. So bring cash! And an empty stomach…

I wouldn’t recommend eating at this IHOP. The ceiling was dirty and looked moldy, the glasses were dirty, the service was awful. One waitress was incredibly rude, proceeding to answer our questions aggressively and didn’t seem to care at all about her job, and the other waitress was more worried about cleaning tables than remembering that she hadn’t yet brought out one more plate of food to our table. This is the third time I’ve been to this IHOP, and 3 times too many apparently because every time I come here in hopes of it being better than the last visit it turns out to be worse. If I could have talked to the manager it would have been nice but unfortunately he was nowhere to be found. If I could rate this restaurant with no stars I would, but since this isn’t possible my one star is going to go towards the food that was mildly decent once I actually received it. We have removed this restaurant off of our Sunday brunch list. Such a shame that it’s still being run as awful as it is.

The butter container is open, they talk over the container, all particles of saliva are folling over the butter and the food they are bring out in general… we where sitting right in front of where they prepare the food, thats why we were able to see everything. The big tall, fat women, that works where they distribute the prepared food, has a long hair, up to her butt, im sure falling all over the food, nobody there uses a hair net… im sure they dont even know what it is… and to put the icing on the cake, the cooks where cooking a pig outside the restaurant(something private im sure, that had nothing to do with the restaurant)…the smoke was coming inside the restaurant and the fire alarm sound constantly. I have pictures of the«Caja China» outside of the restaurant and one of the cooks moving the charcoal. Really discusting place!!!, very dissapointed!!!

NOTALLERGYFRIENDLY. CANNOTACCOMMODATEDAIRYALLERGIES. If you have allergies you are out of luck. Very disappointing. If you want to eat at a restaurant that cares about their costumers go to Walters and skip IHOP and Denny’s

The Fly that kept trying to land in my pancake was not very appetizing. I felt like i was at a backyard barbeque shooing away the flys from my food. We were sat very fast but the service was slow. The food was as expected of IHOP– Decent Short story short: don’t go if your starving, it will only take forever, go if you really want some pancakes and no amount of flys will bother you.

Food took a while to get out. To be expected on a Saturday morn. Was seated right away. Friendly. Won’t be there on a Saturday or Sunday again. They advertise free Wi-Fi, but NO Wi-Fi was more like it!

The Good: 1. I really dig their SIMPLE&FIT Blueberry Harvest Grain ‘N Nut pancakes. 2. A lot of breakfast options. 3. Breakfast for lunch, brunch & dinner. The Bad: 1. Service: It took the waiter 10 minutes to get our drink order. It took 20 minutes for our food to come out.(place was ¼ full). Like Seinfeld, I’m a cereal person. I can eat cereal for all meals. However, sometimes, and just sometimes, I get a craving for pancakes or french toast(sticks too). So, the only place that sells FT sticks is BK. The only place that sells FT around my area is IHOP. I try to eat as «healthy» as possible. So I decided to check out their menu for possible nutritious foods. I came across the SIMPLE&FIT Blueberry Harvest Grain ‘N Nut® Combo Two Harvest Grain ‘N Nut® pancakes loaded with blueberries and topped with fresh slices of banana. It has 560 calories and about 240 from fat. Overall, I find myself craving these more than FT. I like their texture and taste. I usually order it with sugar free syrup. I do wish they offered the option of warming up the syrup, but they don’t. I like IHOP, but I just do not like the slow service of this location.
