Good food, good price, however when ordering here, keep in mind they will NOT accept cards without the chip, for that I am rating them very lowly… How many people still have older cards? Ridiculous. If you want me to re-​review, then change that. Wont be ordering or visiting until that changes.

Services are very bad. Waitress does not speak English. Long wait before order came. And food really is not impressive. Will not recommend anyone to come.

Breakfast wasn’t anything really great. The bread with butter came in over pressed and overdone.
My steak was a really small portion and was over done and hard to chew. The best part was the OJ which really shouldn’t be that way.
They recently sold the building which is great for the owner cause the way the things are running the way a decent place should be running.
15% gratuity is automatically added which explains the slow service.

I’m just reviewing breakfast & the ventanita aka take out window. Those are outstanding. The rest I am not a huge fan. Breakfasts are inexpensive, well made, complete and tasty. The eggs, toast, coffee, bacon, jamon and potatoes are always done right, I go regularly and they come out fast. Cheap too!
The ventanita (take out window) is always fast, with great coffee and fresh made in the restaurant Croquetas, empanadas, papa rellenas and other pastelitos you need. I’ll order an empanada or papa to mix into breakfast for a change once in a while, that is the BEST! Try it sometime.
As for sandwiches, they’re pretty good. Not a huge fan of the meals, but they’re always big portions. Service can be poor at times. Very poor. But never at breakfast!

Although the food is really good, this is a place for takeout only… or maybe drinks outside where service does not matter.
The restaurant is not clean, service is a disaster and on top of that they actually add an 18% tip without your consent on the bill. This being for a party of 2???

Great chicken soup! Choripan not what I expected and the fries needed salt, but the soup and fresh pressed orange juice put me on the road to health I needed. Hence why I’m ordering again.

Damn it that was delicious. I’ve been wanting this for months. After working a week building skate stuff a media noche and a brew is perfect.

I give Latin Café 2000 5 stars for having the absolutely BEST everyday CHICKEN SOUP!!! Aaaaaaahhhhmeeen! Whenever I feel a cold coming on or am craving a GOOD chicken soup this is my go-​to! This and a side of rice with extra lemons is heaven sent during my under the weather days! They are always fast to pack it up for me and it’s a fast pick up as they have plenty of free parking right next to the restaurant… whenever I think of this place i think soup… I’ve ordered so many chicken soups here I forget they have other menu items lolol So much that one day I was craving Cuban food and when I Unilocal’d Cuban food this place came up and I was like ohhhh yesssss! That’s right! They also have other food options lol
Anyhow, other reasons why I give Latin Café 2000 5 stars is because:
— they have fast delivery service
— they give the most delicious complimentary buttered Cuban bread bites
— the wait staff is always fast and helpful

If you are looking for authentic Latin food at a reasonable price, Latin Café is it! Not only does this location have a private parking lot in the event that you decide to dine in, but the parking lot also comes in handy for a quick pickup of a take out order. Also, this location offers local delivery for those of us that don’t feel like venturing out of our apartment.
I highly recommend the special hamburger and fries for those that consider themselves a hamburger aficionado. Also, the chicken soup is the best remedy for when you are sick and feeling under the weather! And for the sandwich lover, ordering an authentic Cuban sandwich is a must. In short, this place has something for everyone.

I was pleasantly surprised with their delivery service. It was quick, ordering though Unilocal was efficient and the delivery guy was so sweet and not the typical rude characters we encounter in Miami. I ordered the croqueta preparada, it was good but I’m not a meat lover in my croqueta preparadas so I took off the pound or so of ham and pork ham, if you’re a meat lover you will be in heaven, but it satisfied my craving non the less.
Their chicken noodle soup=just like abuelitas (grandma’s). I’m NOT a soup fan, but I will definitely be ordering soup from them again!

Horrible customer service we got here at 11:25, we were ignored until 11:52 and then Are u ready yet? You have to hurry and order breakfast because they were going to stop serving breakfast.
I ordered just Cuban toast while my family ordered meals. Waitress comes and brings cuban toast and puts it in front of everyone else. Then they come and put their meals.. and no coban toast for me.
I ask someone else for it.
Waitress was rude.

I can star by say the service was good and the small fish soup on Friday was really good you can see the fish on it now the lunch special is really small for the price if you order from the regular menu the portions are way bigger the rice also is good lets don’t forget to add the meat was cold and the plantains been Friday special the food should come out hot

Oh boy this place is delicious. Shoutout to the owner for having his picture on the menu and serving you water and being nice. The food here is pretty good I went to this place twice for lunch and dinner. I had a Cuban dish called ropa vieja which is white rice, black beans, shredded beef, and a side of maduros which are sweet plantains. Ahh now that’s delicious. Then for lunch I had a BLT with cheese crispy fresh bacon with fries pure amazing. Please visit this place

one of my go-​to places for quick cuban breakfast at reasonable prices. I usually get the #1 which includes scrambled eggs with ham, bacon or sausage, hash browns or french fries, toast and a café con leche for $ 6.95. The portions are large and totally worth it.
The lunch, on the other hand, needs a little bit of work. I ordered the breaded steak and it was way too much breading, dry and stiff.
I’ll stick to breakfast here for now!

Ok. We came here sat down and just like the reviews said the staff is unwelcoming here and it’s because this restaurant charges 15% service charge. I ordered the steak and eggs it was priced higher the other Latin America’s. Everything was priced higher. Had to chase down the waiter for our drinks. The steak was super small. almost if they cut it in half. Nothing to be desired from this place. No customer service.

We come here just because we like food and coffee. not come here to see a really F$$$$G attitude from the waitess (Yalis what her name I guess) Girls if you not happy or has a bad day go home and learn how to be good what you doing!!!
How dare on earth you take order and walked away which we haven’t finished to order!!!

The RUDEST people work here! They close at midnight so why do I get an attitude at 11:15? We were ignored for a few minutes as two separate groups of staff chatted nearby. I ordered a beer and a sandwich and when they presented it in a bag, I said it was for here. The sandwich guy shook his head constantly while cutting it. And the lady gave me a nasty look. No one had asked me if it was to go. They get two stars because it was delicious but the employees are LAZY and rude.
Plus they have a sign saying no more credit cards without chips, yet I gave them my chipped card and that swiped it like a normal one.

I ordered grilled shredded chicken with mashed potatoes and boiled vegetables as sides. They all come in big portions! I didn’t finish it all. I wish my belly was big enough to finish all those! The bread that comes first was really good too — crispy outside and soft inside. Personally I love bread so it’s really good! I asked for a second round lol.
They seem to like putting onions on top of entrees. But it was really good with the meat and chicken!
We ordered the famous empanadas too! It was really great! We loved it!
Also, I wish I knew more Spanish lol.
All in all, it was a really great experience for taste buds!

I got the Croquette Preparada, which is basically a Cuban sandwich where someone took 2 ham and cheese Spanish croquettes and jammed them into it before closing it up. As ridiculously American as that approach is, it’s still quite delicious and vaguely ethnically interesting.
I enjoyed attempting to speak Spanish, which they totally tolerated and not once became annoyed with what an incredible insult to the language it is to hear me speak in my terrible, terrible accent.

Schön wenn die Bedienung noch schlechter englisch spricht als mein Reisebegleiter.
Aber es wurde uns schon gesagt das hier in Miami ganze Viertel nur Spanisch sprechen.
Das Essen selber war ganz okay aber nichts was einen jetzt vom Stuhl reißen würde.
Schräg war allerdings das sie den Tip fürs bedienen gleich auf die Rechnung mit aufgeschlagen haben. Da mussten wir erst zweimal schauen.

Él día Martes 29 de abril, me llegue a este local, a comer en compañía de un amigo, y los dos pedimos una ensalada para cada uno, en mi caso, pedí una ensalada del chef, con un costo de $ 8,99 sí mal no recuerdo. Lé pedí a la camarera sí me podía agregar pollo o pescado a la ensalada, lo que me respondió que tenía que consultarlo con él manager.
Al regresar me respondió que era imposible, que sí la quería así, tenía que pagar por los ingredientes por separado de la ensalada, a $ 2.00 cada uno más él pollo o él pescado, a $ 10,99.
La ensalada, me la quisieron cobrar $ 19.99 +tax.que
Me pareció una falta de respeto, Ya que sí pedíà la ensalada con la opción principal, a $ 8,99 y un trozo de pollo o pescado a la plancha, también salia a $ 10,99, aunque no incluyan los Acompañantes, te quieren cobrar por algo que no vas a comer.
