I have to admit I was not impressed with the service. The waiter was more concerned about is wealthy looking tourist clients then us. Not once were we asked if everything was ok nor if we needed anything. But the other couple next to us were asked 3 times if everything was ok and if they needed anything. I don’t recommend this place just on the pure fact that money is the only interest not customer service.

Food was good but worst service ever. Marcus brings me the receipt I end up paying him cash so I walk out. Went out but had to come back to my car that was park in front of the bakery and then(I was eating out with my family they were at party city at this time) Marcus stop me because he had brought the wrong receipt to me and was upset because I didn’t mention it to him. Last time I knew your the one that works there not me «idiot» well he tell me to pay the difference I give him my card he takes it and ends up charging me the whole amount of the meal and keeps the cash. Marcus is «HORRIBLE».

I actually liked Ricky’s. It’s not my favorite Cuban bakery, but it’s still pretty good. I wasn’t sure if I would like it since the interior is a little bit too dressed-up to be like any other Cuban bakery in Miami. But they were able to pull it off, because they are first, and foremost, a Cuban bakery and they have had experience being one, with their original location being on Coral Way on the way to the Gables. I had the cortadito, pastelito de queso, croqueta de jamon, empanada colombiana, and they were all good. Only the tequeños needed a bit more work. Prices were all good, and comparable to those of the traditional Cuban bakeries. What more could you ask for? The only thing weird is that they tacked on a 18% tip to the bill, which I think shouldn’t be done since the service was not that great all the time. Plus, it’s not South Beach.

Stay away the worst service and food I have ever had in a very long time. Not only was it cold but we had to continue asking to correct what we had ordered because they had completely left the bacon out of the BLT and then when they did bring it it was cold and limp. I will not be returning and neither will my guests.

Just wanted to recognize Marcus for his amazing people skills. The place was busy but he worked hard and took everyone’s order. The food was delicious again. The other people that work there are also very nice and attentive to the customers. We will be back. Their veggie omelet was very good.

I probably come here once a week since I work by and let me tell you they never disappoint when it comes the bakery section, coffee is delicious and inexpensive compared to others in the area, and pastry are tasty. Quick service and always willing to help especially with my multiple orders I have also eaten from the restaurant the service was fast as well and many different menu items to order.

The four stars are for their pastries. Really delicious and fresh treats. Plus in my book any cuban bakery that serves torrejas which actually taste like torrejas, and not like french toast can call itself a true cuban bakery. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE french toast, but torrejas are not french toast; they’re a cuban version of french toast(or is it the other way around?), yet different and delicious in its own right. Ok, I’ll move on now… Now, the rest of the food is more of 2 stars for me. I admit I haven’t tried much of their other food items aside from the eggs Benedict, home made potatoes and cuban toast. But judging by those three I’m not impressed. The eggs were the only thing that seemed fresh. Everything else from the english muffin to the bacon and the fries seemed(and tasted) as if pulled out of a frozen bag. And the hollandaise sauce had an overpowering taste of vinegar. Was I full at the end of my meal? Yes. But was I happy? No. It breaks my heart, but going forward I will stick to the torrejas(not french toast!) and their sweets only.

I left my purse here and was freaking out. The whole drive back, I had been freaking out. I walk in to see Marcus waiting to give it to me. He is really amazomg! Thank you so much for this. If I didn’t get my purse that included my passport I wouldn’t have been able to get on the cruise. Thank you so much for all you help! You really saved me. The food and service was amazing as well. Thank you marcus.

Awesome experience — quick friendly service and the food was delicious. I tried the daily lunch special and it was perfect. The flan and capuccino were the perfect end to a delicious lunch.

I must say the salmon is my new favorite with mashed sweet potato. I put the onions from the samon in the mashed s. Potatoes and it was the bombbbbb. Loved it. I wish I live close by or work around here to visit more often.

After driving by several times, decided to stop today to try their breakfast. Upon arrival, I seated myself outside, the waiter Marcus was out immediately to take our order and answer any questions I had. I ordered the breakfast burrito for both my son and I. I also ordered a Mint Mimosa for $ 5!!! Who would’ve thought. Well food arrived quickly, I noticed the breakfast burrito had lettuce(which the menu didn’t mention) Marcus immediately took it back and had another one made for my 9 year old. Over all service was great, fast and food was good. Not pricy. I will definitely return.

4 stars for the treats and 2 stars for the service = average of 3 stars. First visit, wanted a plain old American coffee with some milk. Apparently not possible, they wanted to charge fancy coffee prices for that. I think part of the problem was that the person behind the counter spoke zero English. Went to Starbucks instead. Second visit, arrived with a coupon for $ 5 off of a $ 10 order. We waited at the counter — there was no one else in line and there were 3 employees behind the register talking(in Spanish) about who knows? Didn’t seem like they were socializing, seemed like they were trying to figure out something with the register, but regardless, you have customers waiting! Take it offline! When we finally got someone’s attention, we selected three treats — the«San Marco» which was a spongy cake topped with something whipped and delicious, a chocolate mousse cake and a coconut tart. We brought the treats home, intending to have them as a shared dessert for a BBQ we were having the following day, but curiousity got the better of us and we ate the treats that night! HA! They were delicious, light and airy, not overly sweet. So, great treats, horrific, Miami-style customer service. Buyer beware.

What a total disaster of a Bakery. They have 5 people working, only 2 tables busy and a line to order and no one takes care of you!!! I had to walk out of that place after 10 minutes waiting! The only way they can survive is with those ridiculous prices, because service SUCKS!!!
