Le Macaron

I think the macaroons were just OK. I have had much better before. Unfortunately the grove is also always dead so I don’t see this place lasting too long. Plus its a bit pricey. Cute store though!

French as a macaron! Great combinations of flavors; both traditional and seasonal. Very personable staff.

Delicious macaroons. I really really liked the vanilla flavored one. The cookie texture was quite different from any macaroon I’ve ever had. Very unique. Isabelle was fantastic. So sweet and knowledgable. I tried their gelato and that was out of this world. Will definitely be back to this charming little French place. These were special made macaroons. A must try!

This place is a like a dollhouse! Can’t help but walk in. I LOVE when the actual owners are working their businesses, so it was a pleasant surprise to be greeted by the nicest french lady behind the counter.
They have a few flavors of gelato, all delicious. Props to their display. It reminded me of a treasure chest with these jewel-​like bonbons and of course their macarons. Tried the Pistachio gelato, the Apricot Yogurt, the Rose Macaron, and the french lady’s favorite (and now mine), the White Chocolate Basil Macaron. It is SO different and oh so good!

Le Macaron is definitely Le-​Git.
I happened to walk past by this place and, just like Rocio, I couldn’t help but to peek in and walk in. I love Macaroons and I just had to check this place out. The lady who was working at this place (owner?) was super nice and super sweet. She was French and macaroons are French pastries. That’s another reason why you know this place is legit.
I bought a box of twelve which cost $ 28 + tax. That’s a little over $ 30 for you. Not exactly cheap, but we all know that Macaroons are not very easy to make. If people are willing to pay $ 3.75 for a cupcake (I’m looking at you, Crave Cupcakes), then people should be willing to pay this much for some delicious macaroons. And yes, they are delicious! It doesn’t matter what flavor you get, I don’t think you can go wrong here.
I also tried the sorbet/​gelato. I had the Chocolate Raspberry and my sister tried the Americain Cookie. They were both delicious and didn’t cost too much.
Le Macaron also has some other pastries that all looked very delicious. But unfortunately I don’t think I’d have enough space in my belly to contain all these delicious pastries.
If Le Macaron ever opened up space in Houston, you better believe that I would frequent it.
All you lucky people should come by this place and try everything out. You can thank me later by overnighting me some macaroons.

To think I have been here three times & have yet to post a review… Le Macaron is Le Amazing! First, every time I have walked into their shop, I have always been politely greeted. Their macarons are as beautiful as they are delicious! They have a wide array of flavors sure to please any palate. It gets better… not only do they have macarons, but they also have gelato (FRESH) and gourmet chocolates. The chocolates are absolute incredible! Their desserts are a little pricey but 100% worth it! Don’t miss out an opportunity to visit this adorable shop when you are in the Grove!

This is one of those places where the word «cute» is inevitable. Also «colorful» and «adorable» come to mind. So obviously, It is hard for a girl to pass by and not want to come in and browse. Just browse, I wasn’t looking for sweet treats… until I saw the truffles in front of me, looking so creatively crafted. They looked more like jewelry or small decorations. And I was hooked, because we girls know nothing is more appealing than jewelry or decorations that you can also eat. Or not… call me weird then…
I had a few, and was happy to have killed several girly needs in one stop. But guys with a sweet tooth please do come in! You will not be disappointed…

First time trying macarons and they were so delicious! The lady was very helpful and very kind. She described what a macaron is and each flavor for us. She let us know she had just finished baking a batch of chocolate croissants if we wanted some as well. Her French accent was beautiful and just made the experience feel authentic. The shop is decorated adorably. Love it here!
