Levi’s Store

After maybe 35 years since I bought my last pair I decided that I needed a couple new pairs of the classic Levi’s 501 jeans so I found my way to this store. I loved the fact that once you walk in the door all you see is walls stacked from floor to ceiling with at least 1000 pairs of Levi’s in every style and color imaginable.
As I walked around the store looking at the different jeans I found myself in an upbeat mood because of the very cool music that was playing and the overall good vibe in the place because of the very hip and helpful staff.
I found my way to the 501 section and boy did they have every size combination possible. I have short legs but I’m a big guy and finding a guy’s size 36X30 took about 1 minute which would never happen in any other jeans shop on earth.
I bought 2 pair of the original 501 jeans and once I tried them on I was instantly brought back to my high school days as a young lad but then my wife yelled at me to hurry up so I snapped out of it realizing that I am old now but just as cool as I was back then.
If you are in need of original Levi jeans then this is your place. Buy a pair or two and you can be just as cool as I am, maybe even a little more.

I’ve been wearing Levi’s since the 70’s. You will never catch me in designer jeans, although considering the number of European tourists in the shop, you would think they were.
Lots more styles now than way back when I was in high school, but I still prefer the straight leg 501s.
Lots of inventory, good selection on sale and friendly staff. No need to go anywhere else.

Vast collection of jeans and a mostly friendly staff. That is unless you call after hours. I found it a nice touch that they answer the phone 30 minutes after they close, but when I asked something that would require moving from the phone to be accomplished I was asked to call back in the morning. That to me defeats the purpose of answering the phone if you are not going to be of use when you pick up.
I did find the staff member who helped me quite knowledgable about jeans (not about sale prices! got to the register with what i thought were half off jeans only to be hit with full price)
After trying on like 7 jeans I hated I finally hit the spot with some perfectly fitting Matchsticks.
Unfortunately I took them home and noticed an imperfection… upon my attempt to exchange… I found out they didn’t have my size: (this makes me sad… also I found it a bit upsetting that no one offered to order me my size or take down my number so they can call when more come in…
3 stars because miami service is lacking everywhere and this is one step above most retail outlets.

Levi’s gets kudos from me for its line of organic cotton jeans, at reasonable prices. (On sale this week.) It’s a small part of the production line, but it’s always heartening to see big companies taking the eco-​route, formerly less traveled. Even though not all the salespeople were aware of the organic line, once they found it, they were all really helpful. It took three of them to help me settle on a pair, and offered what seemed to be sincere, useful advice. Customer service isn’t always Collins Avenue’s strongest suit, so it’s nice to deal with people who actually seem to like their jobs. Plus, the store’s inventory goes beyond jeans (of which there are many, natch). Lots of really cute tops and dresses, and handsome mens’ button down casual shirts fill out the store. One gripe is that I would have liked to have seen more organic cotton inventory – more sizes, cuts, rinses. And it would be nice if they marketed them more than they do.
