Libar Steakhouse

I am not sure what people are thinking giving this place 4 and 5 stars but I see this allot in Miami. I am guessing most people don’t know what good food is. The best part of this experience was the service (Zohec) who was outstanding. He was very attentive, courtesy and efficient. This place would have received a one star if the service wasn’t good. Otherwise, the food was bad. The mac and cheese appetizer was not good. Lacked any real flavor or creaminess. The Caprese salad had this odd aioli on it. Some things are meant to stay simple and classic and this is one of them. Tomatoes, mozzarella and balsamic glaze. So Libar failed on this as well. I ordered the Flat Iron steak and it was not good. I question the grade/​quality of the steak. My friend ordered short ribs and again it came out unconventional and the meat was tough. Another fail and it appeared a lower grade meat. I wanted this place to be good because i only live 5 blocks away but it’s not. I will not step foot in this «steak house» again.

Out of all steak houses I’ve been to this has to be by far my favorite one, very convenient location right in front of the American Airlines aren! The service was amazing. Nice people definitely felt welcomed and the food was even better! coming back for sure. if you’re looking for a nice restaurant I definitely recommend coming to Libar steak house! Yum!

1^st time here. My colleague suggested we try something new. Loved the whole experience… the food was outstanding… service was excellent. We need to come back soon!

The best Chicken and Greek Salad EVER!!! The chicken is so flavorful and juicy it melts in your mouth! The salad is big enough to feed 2 ppl! With an amazing dressing! I think we need a Libar Steakhouse in West Palm!

My boyfriend and I found Libar steakhouse through a groupon offer. Since we both love steak we decided to try it out. On arrival on a Monday night we were greeted right away. We got our choice of seating since it was rush hour and we were the first ones there. I ordered the NY strip MR and my boyfriend ordered the skirt steak also MR. We also had salads as starters. The salads came within 10 minutes of ordering and were delicious. Our steaks were also as ordered and cooked as requested which in my experience is sometimes a rarity. Our server was pleasant and courteous. Im giving it 5 stars because it was a great relaxing evening out. Would come back and recommend! :)

Hoy tuve la oportunidad de almorzar en Libar, el flat iron estuvo muy buen al termino que deseba. El servicio muy bueno tambien, la ubicacion perfecta para compartir con mis amigos. Tambien he probado la hamburgusa y es muy rica! Recomiendo este restaurant porque en carnes por esta zona es uno de los mejores

The churrasco steak with red wine sauce it was delicious and the truffle fries. Yummy!

The best French fries ever!!! The steak was very tender and delicious! I loved the place, it’s very homey and exotic at the same time.

After a long day of work my boyfriend and I decided to take a walk down biscayne to find a quick bite to eat. Being someone who likes to wine and dine often, I thought that a Steakhouse would be able to fulfill my needs. Unfortunately I was wrong. For me a restaurant with good service and tasty food is enough. Both were a fail. I ordered the Salmon and my boyfriend ordered the burger. I LOVE salmon and when I took my first bite I couldn’t believe how fishy it was… My boyfriend asked for ketchup and 15 minutes later still no ketchup. At this point the burger was cold and there was no sign of our waiter. A lady came by after I caught her attention and didn’t speak English so she asked if we wanted to talk to the manager. The manager came by and we explained to her that the fish was fishy. She looked at me as if I was dumb and said «well it’s a fish» then my boyfriend said that he wanted ketchup and she said well you could’ve asked for ketchup.
We said we would like to try the tuna (just to be nice) and she proceeded to bring out the uncooked tuna, I guess to make sure that I was ok with it… Attitude from a manager at a supposed reputable establishment is ridiculous… At this point we just said we would take the check. Fortunately they didn’t charge us for the salmon but I had to write this review because I’ve never been so disrespected by a manager…
Oh and the music could have been way lower.

Excellent food and service… wow I ordered New York steak and chicken breast to take to my home and is best chicken breast I eat my life…

Zero stars. Ordered on Eat24, they even called to say they were going to close but they would make the food and deliver it.
2 hours later, no food, no contact, no nothing. They just say they would make food and then leave us?
Avoid.

This Venezuelan restaurant was exceptional! My girlfriend bought a GROUPON and took me on my birthday ¹¹⁄₁₀ to celebrate along with seats to watch the HEAT vs. Lakers.
After our speedy getaway from work we both went for a late lunch and we started with a bottle of nice white wine with the ciabatta bread with tomato VERY TASTY! Then we had the skirt steak cooked to perfection with Parmesan French fries which were awesome. They even brought out a birthday cake for me! High five!!! It is a little pricey – but if you plan to watch a Miami Heat game it is steps away from the AAA. I valet parked my car for $ 15 and it was a safe spot within sight too! Nice restaurant for a date or with someone special!

Been open only a few months. Liked the ambience and the service was great. Went with a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals. The red wine reduction is a must, delicious!

Great place and ambience. The churrasco that I ordered was made to perfection and the wine reduction sauce that was recommended was delicious. The apple streusel was phenomenal. I highly recommended especially if you will be in downtown for a Heat game.

We have seen many restaraunts come and go in this space but i really hope libar is here to stay. Such a great restaraunt. We had amazing service and great food. I had the chicken which was seasoned to perfection… The veggies were al denote and nice cocktails and wine. My boyfriend had tuna and it was fresh and well cooked. Good portions… So come hungry:) nice patio and romantic! We loved it! Thank u libar for a great night!

Absolutely amazing experience. Our waiter (Super Mario from Mexico) was fantastic. We had the apple mint mojitos, beef empanadas, garlic and spinach cheese bread (a must order!), followed by the Churrasco dinner with veggies, and truffle mashed potatoes. We were also surprised with a free key lime dessert for the birthday boy. We are not from the area, but will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted a quiet place for dinner so we went back to Libar Steakhouse since we enjoyed it so much the first time we went. The ambiance was great and the music that they had playing was very pleasant. Our server was Rudy and he was very friendly and welcoming. Rudy was very knowledgeable about the menu and pairing the proper wine with our meal. My wife had the flat iron steak which was prepared perfectly to her liking with a side of truffle Parmesan french fries. I’m vegetarian but if there is no vegetarian option I will have fish. In this case I had the blackened salmon which was prepared perfectly medium with a side of mixed grilled vegetables. The entire experience was amazing. After dinner the head Chef and one of the owners came out to greet us which was an added treat. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great food in a nice warm and relaxing atmosphere.
