Macy’s is amazing. This little«Taste» bar is perfect for the busy shopper. Very smart to put all that delicious coffee and cakes within shopping distance. I recommend the red velvet cheese cake. It was tasty — especially with an iced café

So, today I wanted something sweet! So, I was in the mall, «doin’ my thang» and checked out the Macy’s Taste Bar. I ask one of the managers, which desserts does he recommend. The manager, Douglas Barnes was«mad cool» and really helpful… Much props to him. Service-really good, they bring the food to you, if you are sitting down! Atmosphere-hip and relaxing! Food-Really good! **Note: This place is good if you are shopping with your date, your feet are hurting, you’re hungry and you want some good classy food! Plus the nice prices! Check it, I ordered the Carmel apple bar, although, the presentation sucked, the Carmel apple bar was amazing good!!! Like one of the best that I ever had– a must try, the chocolate chip cookie –really good and warm too and I ordered a small cup of coffee, which was a Cuban style coffee-it needed sugar! The staff was really friendly… I’ll BEBACK…

The atmosphere is quiet in this area of the mall so that is nice. The employees were very nice and prompt with service. There were shoppers and quite a few employees coming and going eating in there so it must be a favorite. My fiancé and I ordered a turkey panini with marble cinnamon bread. He was in love. He said it was very tasty, a word he never uses and went on to say, «this would be a great breakfast sandwich. We have to figure out how it’s made!» Apparently he Really liked it! So you can crab a bite to eat for your guy here too, he will be happy! The sandwich was very tasty. It was a tad sweet for my taste but good nonetheless. I would eat there again if I was hungry and inside Macy’s. They have tea, raspberry tea, large yogurt parfaits, bread pudding that looked delicious, large cookies, cupcakes, juice, fountain soda, pizza, chips, and sandwiches.

I really appreciate this place! After trying on tons of clothes you need a place to just sit and relax. Omg the service was the best I came on Black Friday and they were still so friendly I love this!

Well they have soda(from a fountain) and it’s not the walk all the way to the food court, at least when being dragged around by my wife i can get a drink!

Sometimes you will find me in here, lounging on the big red seat, stuffing myself with their extra huge $ 4.95 cesar salad with an add on cup of Soup for $ 1.50. Every day they have Chicken Tortilla Soup and Bean Soup and then a Soup of the day. Today’s special was Tomato Bacon. Homemade, very thick and substantial. And very yummy. The salad is always enough for two days or at least to keep for later and I like that they don’t toss it in the dressing, I like to put my own dressing on. Its got some big fat what look like homemade croutons, lots of fresh romaine, grape tomatoes and lots and lots of fresh shaved parmesan cheese. I like their cesar dressing, its thick and tangy. I’m also quite partial to their tuna salad sandwich. For $ 5.50 which includes a bag of chips, its my go-to hangover helper. I’ve also had their chicken salad sandwich and its also great. Really a half of one of these sandwiches is more than enough. The bread is thickly cut and they are generous with the filling. They also have a selection of fresh made flatbread pizzas which are very good and have coffees, teas, iced drinks etc. Being that it is in the mall there is free wi-fi. Its a quiet spot, located on the ground floor in the back, and its never crowded so its a good place to chill and chat with a friend. Everything is made fresh to order. And now I’ve given away yet another secret hiding place of mine in Aventura Mall. Oh…and there are TWO… one in the home goods/mens department over by the AMC Theatre but that one doesn’t have hot food but its where I pick up my hangover Tuna sandwiches. The other is this one, hidden in back of the handbag department in the ladies Macy’s.
