Hotpot lovers rejoice, N by Naoe now does Shabu Shabu! Super marbled wagyu beef(the real stuff from Japan, of course) + a beautiful plate of veggies and mushrooms on a long polished wood communal table. It is a very fun, relaxing, and interactive meal perfect for dates and groups. Everything is in line with the same NAOE we know and love, from the beautifully lit minimalist dining room full of natural wood, to top quality ingredients, and impeccable friendly service. I am so happy for us Miamians that chef Kevin decided to go the Shabu Shabu route for N.

Great place!!! The waitresses are polite and they know the menu, the service is really good and the food is outstanding. I have been her twice already and I shall return to try other dishes. The seafood is very fresh.

Once again chef Kevin, Wendy and the team hit it out of the park. At $ 80 per person it is not cheap but it is reasonable for the three-layer bento box with soup, rice, tea, and dessert. I posted some of the food pictures but as he changes the menu regularly I am just going to give broad brushstrokes– it is very similar to the bento box at Naoe but more of it. The highlights(like picking the best works of art at a great museum exhibition– all work in unison to create the Scene and all are great) were the squid sashimi with the delicate piece of lightly toasted seaweed between two pieces(like a small piece of morbier cheese except, you know, it was squid sashimi instead), the yucca«tofu» with hokkaido uni atop, and the most mindblowing– lightly fried small pieces of canistel fruit. Wow. And the presentation is stunning. I hope to go to japan soon but at this price it may just be better to book it here a few times first. Come for dinner or a spectacular lunch– your clients from out of town will be blown away that Miami has this to offer! Congrats guys and we wish you all the best to a successful new venture and we will be back!
