I had an appointment in this office building one morning, so I stopped into New York Roma Pizza for some breakfast. They sell a variety of empanadas and some other breakfast items in the morning. I ordered myself a café con leche and a chicken empanada, and also got a water bottle because I needed to reach the $ 5 minimum to pay with my credit card. The empanada was decent, nothing out of this world. The café con leche was good, a little too dark for my taste but I should have made this clear when ordering. The gentleman who took my order and made my coffee was very nice and checked up on me a couple of times to make sure everything was ok, which was nice of him. Unfortunately, I can’t offer any opinions on their pizza. I’m not sure that I would come back here for breakfast if I was in the area. However, if I worked in the building I’m sure I’d frequent it often mostly out of convenience.

Love this place! The food is great and the prices are amazing. I usually go there at the lunch time, the space is nice, the food is freshly made, and pretty much the menu is full of latin dishes. They have beer is you want to refresh yourself, coffee all day long, empanadas, breakfast, lunch, soups, pizza, sometimes alfajores, rice puddin, flan, etc, they change the desserts so you don’t get bore. Try it is a nice family bussiness!

Pizza scam. Stayed overnight in Miami. Their menu was in the hotel room. We ordered pizza and was told 45 minutes. The pizza took and hour and a half and was over $ 40. It was cold and just not a $ 40 pizza. They wouldn’t give a discount or it for free. They said they don’t do that. TERRIBLE service.

Ladies and Gentlemen: Do NOT and I repeat, DONOT order from this restaurant! We landed in Miami and checked into our hotel room. There was a flyer under our hotel room door from«Roma’s Pizza New York Style» restaurant. Unfortunately, I ordered from this place. And that was the BIGGEST mistake I made after landing in Miami! They are a complete FRAUD! They listed a large variety of items to order. However, when I called to place our order, the woman on the phone advised that they only had chicken, shrimp and pizza available to order. I should have hung up the phone at that point. Unfortunately, I placed an order anyway for a fried chicken meal and a fried shrimp meal. This was SUPPOSE to come with fries and salad(with ranch dressing) for each meal. She stated that the food would take 40 minutes. After waiting an hour, no food arrived. So I called back. She said that the driver was nearby and would be arriving in five minutes. I called back 10 minutes later to cancel the order. And she said he was in the lobby of the hotel, which was a lie because he wasn’t. He finally arrived 20 minutes later(1 hour and 20 minutes total). Not only do they take forever to deliver your food, but they won’t send you what you ordered. And by the time you figure it out($ 55.00 in my case), they are long gone with your money! This food was absolutely HORRIBLE! The chicken was NOT fried! It was a piece of EXTREMELY dry, roasted chicken. And the shrimp was NOT fried. It was five small pieces of raw shrimp in watered down cocktail sauce. The fries were cold and nasty. And there was not a drop of ranch dressing for the salad. Also, they had the audacity to charge $ 2.99 for a small bottle of water. And $ 4.50 for a sliver of strawberry cheesecake WITHOUT the strawberries! I called back three times. And each time they hung up the phone. I read the flyer again(which doesn’t display an address), and it said at the bottom«NOREFUNDS» in bold letters. It is now my mission in life, to ensure EVERYONE knows this place is SHIFTY and SHIESTY! And you will not get what you ordered! I should have contacted the police and reported them. Do not waste your time and money on these fakes!

Right next to my job I decided to check it out after 3 months working here. Tried the mushroom and pepperoni which they had already made and an order of mozzarella sticks. Nothing out of this world but for a quick cheap lunch it wasn’t bad. The majority of people eating here are people who work at the building or students from the University in the building. They have a big variety of toppings you can add to your pizza as well as traditional Italian dishes like lasagna. The food didn’t leave me with an urge to go back for more but I am sure I will eventually wonder in for a quick bite.

Always looking for a great pizza so I’m glad I checked this restaurant out. I found it to have a welcoming staff. If you visit I recommend the canoa. Its a whole fried plantain sliced longways and holds sliced cheddar with seasoned ground beef tucked in. Then its topped with green and red peppers. I find it to be filling by its self.
