Great place for brunch or dinner. FYI it’s not posted but the brunch is over at 3PM. I ordered the Colazione Regina the bacon was really burnt. My wife had the Orecchiette Fungi very good. We ordered the new Pizza Liguria it has shrimp & pesto really delicious.

Nice restaurant with good food and excellent service. It does not look like much from the outside, but it is very nicely decorated inside, with a good layout of tables, and welcoming atmosphere. Their menu is small, but everything we tried(burrata, lasagna, octopus salad, flounder piccata and chocolate lava cake) was very well prepared and tasty. It is definitely a place I will be going back when in the area.

We went for dinner on a Monday night. Overall, the place was good. Nice ambiance. The type of place you want to come back to. The food was good, but it just didn’t go the extra mile. When served flat bread, we had to asked for olive oil, salt and pepper. When served our pasta entrée, we had to ask for parmesan cheese(which never came). The food was tasty, but didn’t leave a lasting impression. What we will remember was the price. We spent about $ 80 on two glasses of wine, an app, and two entrees(one of which was a salad). Next time, we’ll try their brunch.

I had dinner here with four friends and two children they have one large table which could accommodate eight people. Yay! I tried the caprese salad and the linguine with clams, both of which were well prepared and absolutely delicious. We also tried the pumpkin soup — again, fantastic. There was a nice variety of wines by the glass and dessert was also very good.

Ni. Do Caffe serves Italian food prepared with a refinement that’s truly awesome. Entering this establishment, I didn’t know quite what to expect. My wife and I had been to another outpost for dessert and had found the service and sweets delightful, but had never eaten a full meal there. In addition, this branch’s exterior is unassuming and even a little downscale-looking. Don’t let that fool you. Inside, the dining room is beautiful, and both elegant and rustic. It creates a great atmosphere for enjoying some well-made food. I also notice that they have quite a few events and special programs here, like Mozzarella Making Classes the second Wednesday of each month, Pizza Days, etc. In addition, Tuesdays starting at 5pm they air-ship fish from the Mediterranean to serve Italian preparations of various traditional fish. On the day we visited, they in fact had a fish special featuring said fish. I was a bit skeptical, because in my experience we have great fish here in South Florida, and restaurants insisting on importing fish from Europe are hit-and-miss on their actual freshness and quality. In this case, my fears were unfounded. The fish — a variety called Ombria — was baked in foil, with olives and potatoes. The presentation is rustic, in a pot lined with the foil in a cute swan shape. Opening up the foil, the rich aroma immediately hits you. Then you get to taste the rich, buttery fish perfectly cooked and mixed with the tang of the olives. Great. The Salumi Misti(two types of salami/pepperoni and two types of smoked hams) was likewise delicious. It came with focaccia that was warm and savory(though a bit salty for our taste — which was odd since none of the other food was salty). My wife also enjoyed her pasta: Citarrucci con gamberi e calamari(square fresh spaghetti, shrimp, calamari, cherry tomatoes in white wine). It wasn’t as much a high point as the fish entrée, but still very well prepared. As a side note, they do have a really nice looking back room for what I assume is private events.

I’ve been going to their Upper East side location for the past year and overall I enjoyed it. With the installation of this location in Miami Shores I’m actually impressed. They have very well trained staff who are interested in providing solid service. I come here often enough that they remember me and what I order which in of itself in this city is a small miracle. I’ve been going to a café in Wynwood for a year and only one staff person knows my name. The food, solid Italian fare. I like: The lasagna, al dente, rich and indulgent. The shrimp and crab ravioli same as above even more… The pumpkin soup is very good. Amazing for winter. The bread. wow, one of the few places in town with amazing bread. Quinoa salad, a great option for a fresh salad that’s not greens. Pana cotta — true Italian style and very good. The atmosphere. The designer they used did a great job to create a light-filled, and functional space that’s easy to sit in to enjoy a great meal. I especially love their communal table for a large party. They really did a great job and it’s not anything like the space in Upper East Side. They even have a room in the back for meetings etc. And their patio space is fantastic. I’m not sure if it’s open for service yet but it’s great to sit there. I’ve been out there after eating This has become a go-to spot for me which will be tremendously tough on the diet. Hard to order much that’s not gluten or dairy. But if I’m going to cheat I’ll come here. Bravo!

Arrived at this empty establishment around 6:00PM waited 5 minutes before someone handed me a menu. Asked for a beer while I look over the menu for the first time, 8 or 9 minutes pasted and no beverage. After a few more minutes I went inside the resteraunt to return the menu and no one seemed to care that I was not serviced and visibly upset. While leaving I decided to call to express my disappointment and the manager claimed to be to busy at the moment and would call back. Never have I had such a terrible experience at a resteraunt. The only saving grace was Alejandro a polite gentleman at the miami shores location who listened to my concerns and apologized for the inconvenience. I was looking forward to finding a new local resteraunt that my wife and I could frequent on a weekly basis. :(

We had an amazing dinner. The service was excellent. We are really excited that they opened up within a few minutes from our house. We will definitely be coming back soon. We ordered the lasagna and it was delicious along with their special, boar with pappardelle. Wow it was to die for. You must also try their chocolate bar dessert with caramel sea salt and ice cream.

What a cute little restaurant! I came here for lunch and didn’t realize that I drive past this place every day. The service was amazing — the waiters and waitresses were very sweet and friendly. The owner came out and greeted us personally. I ordered the artichoke-lemon ravioli, shrimp, and asparagus in lemon butter sauce. SO good. I personally love italian food and it’s been so long since I’ve had anything this good. The ravioli filling didn’t overpower the dish, which often happens because of too much cheese. This dish was light and filled me up just right. I only tried one dish at this place and it might have instantly become my favorite! They have outside seating as well for those who would like to enjoy the Miami sun while dining when it’s not unbearably hot and humid. I also saw a little back room, which looked a bit more private. They also allow dogs! I brought my dog and wanted to dine outside but it had just rained so the owner allowed me to bring my dog inside to sit with us. Any dog-lover would melt for a restaurant to treat their doggies so kindly! :) Definitely coming back again and next time, I want to try the pizza!

We are a big fan of NiDo’s original location, so one day when I drove by the new location further north on Biscayne, I got very excited, and had been waiting for them to open ever since. The new location is definitely bigger than the original spot, though parking is not better. They have a lot but it’s for valet parking(which I think is preposterous given the location) but you can park along the side streets. However, maybe it’s the dishes we ordered, or maybe the cooking is just not as good as the first store, but we are not too happy with the food. NiDo makes great pasta and this is no difference. However, the clam pasta has a lot of empty shells. For my bigoli with roasted vegetables, the first bite I took, I found the flavor great but oversalted. Sometimes dishes taste perfect at first bite but you feel the salt halfway through, but this one is salty from the beginning so it’s really downhill from the start. Also, when it says roasted vegetables, I expect more than slivers of carrots and asparagus with no visible grill mark. Another big strike against it is, the tables are packed too tight together. Some tables have more privacy, and they do have a private room, but our table is literally one foot away from the next, so we can hear every single word as our neighbor converses. If you sit close to the entrance or outdoors, then the traffic noise becomes annoying. So while this place has a nice, welcoming décor, dining here may not be as romantic as you may think.

Maybe it’s that I’m just not that big a fan of Italian. This place worked for me as a neighborhood spot, but nothing more. The new owners have dramatically redone the décor — it’s brighter and more open than when Dewey LoSasso had his fabulous(five-star) North 110 there. The service was excellent. But the $ 10 salad was pretty ordinary and my dish(a seafood rarrotto, $ 18) was simply OK, although Dining Companion said she enjoyed her risotto pistacchi($ 17). Limoncello for dessert was a winner, and the wines($ 8 a glass) were generous pours. The place was quite busy on a rainy Friday night, so maybe it’ll do better than the Peruvian place that was there briefly.

Love the service at Ni. Do! I had the pasta trio special for $ 18 which brought their delicious faggotini de pera pasta with shrimp, lamb ravioli, and gnocchi with 3−2oz. wines paired with the pasta for $ 9. They also serve bread with olive oil and vinegar or butter with your meal and are very quick with refilling water. Great dining experience.

Something changed just from one month ago… Came and had a great service! But food… Thats where it changed! Ordered the same lasagna and boy it was totally different… Glad I keep pic records of my culinary experiences… This was one that even in appearance changed! Missing flavor, balance and kick! The orechietti with mushroom had a little to much sauce… Tasty though! The focaccia was quite nice, good taste nice fresh herbs but too salty… We did get the limoncello on the house which is good. The limoncello cake is tasty and the meringue cream is better than the pastry! Enjoy
