Love this place from the staff to the fantastic food. I of course think their ceviche is divine but i especially enjoy their causas. The owner is often present and just a delight.

This restaurant has the best Tiradito on town. I love peruvian food, I’ve tried several places, and I’m willing to the drive over there for the tiraditos. My boyfriend had ceviche, and it was pretty good as well. The waiter was very friendly and the recommendations he made were right on point. For dessert we had a Maracuya mousse, and it was delicious. Whenever you go, try a traditional alcohol drink that they have is called Pisco Sour, you’ll love it, but have someone else driving for you, if you are planing on having more than one, because is strong.

I ordered the original ceviche because of the great reviews below. However, I could not even finish my plate and I was very hungry. The fish is not fresh, I called to complaint and they said the fish comes frozen so there you go. I told them I could not eat it and they said ok. Did not offer another plate or anything. I am not coming back here and do not recommend the Ceviche at all. On the other hand, my friend ordered a Pollo Saltado which was pretty decent and a good portion was served. The place looks very clean which is a big plus. If they would have offered to try another plate even an appetizer I would have come back. Conclusion If you know peruvian food and your expectations are not too high go there but stay away from the Ceviche.

When I entered and left, I was the only person in the restaurant. Clean floors, healthy tables, clean silverware, a spotless bathroom, cute bar in the back(open on weekends) and a feel for Peru give you the right ambiance for trying-buying their plates. Their most expensive plate was like $ 16, no problem, well worth it. We had the mixed ceviche. Just as good as Ceviche 105, but not as good as a ceviche from Lima, Peru. So, right in between. The seafood fried rice was delicious too. Just as good as PF Changes Fried rice in Mary Brickell Village.(quite a compliment) The waitress, although not Peruvian, was familiar with Traditional Peruvian plates and took the time to explain and recommend dishes on each page of the menu. They have Peruvian bottled beer, served with a 20 oz cold mug. Everything was fantastic till the end. Here’s the only problem and the reason why they are getting 2 stars instead of 4. Each and every bottle of wine are exactly $ 30 on the menu, but I was charged $ 35 each($ 70 instead of $ 60)(I had two bottles). Both waiters said they did not know. I will not tolerate obvious mistakes on my bill, especially when I am the only customer in the restaurant. It felt dishonest. Feel so bad for the owners, hope they realize punks cant run their business. Maybe, the waiters should take that time to read the menu prices. I would have tipped them the $ 10 extra…(I always give 25%-30%) If they would have not made the mistake. If I was the owner, I’d be chopping heads.

Ceviche was ok but not delicious, my husband left half of the plate, he didn’t like it at all. Must improve customer service, taste and presentation of the food.

Very happy to welcome Tunky Tunky to the neighborhood! The staff was warm and friendly and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Tiradito A La Crema De Aji Amarillo to start. It was our first time here so we ordered a few different plates and shared so we could all have a taste of everything. Everything was delicious — lots of distinct flavors. We live close by so I see frequent visits in our future!

Service was incredibly bad. No one manning the host station, after a few moments a server says sit anywhere. We sit at a table for two but no one comes to greet us for at least 8 minutes, no exaggeration. I flag down someone who appears to be an employee and ask if we can see a menu. He brings us a menu. After another several minutes a young lady asks if anyone has helped us. Long story short she was very nice but had no idea what she was doing. The food was okay, just okay. Not bad but not something I would spend my time to try again. Bottom line is the service was horrible for me so I won’t be going back, especially seeing as the food is nothing great.

Meehh had better peruvian fare. The octopus and chicken breast were dry and tough. The pescado macho was my favorite, light and healthier. We also waited a very long time for our food and there was only one other table.

Hands down the best peruvian restaurants i’ve ever haf! And trust me, i been to alot! The food has a delicious taste! Today was my 4th time eating the same plate and every time gets better and better! Must try the Chicken or Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Mariscos, or Carne Azada! But if not i promise the other plates will be as delicious. And if you want an appetizer definitely Causa de Pollo or Camaron and/or Ceviche. GOHERE ! You wont regret it.

Very friendly staff. Clean, and very nicely decorated. I tried the Lomo Saltado and it was tasty, but the meat was a little hard. My husband had the ceviche and thought it was good but not fantastic. We live in the area, so we are happy that this restaurant is there. We will give it another try because the staff was so nice and the restaurant is nice and bright.

I decided to come here because of the other reviews. It is a very clean establishment as reported and everyone is suitably friendly. There was no music playing when I went which makes it a little lacking in atmosphere… first world problems! The food was excellent both in taste and presentation. I had the ají de gallina and companion the mariscos con arroz. Huge. I also had the pollo a la brasa on a previous visit and that was delicious. Go here.

Confession: I am a peruvian food fan. So, I’m a little biased in that I love this national cuisine after living in South America. It’s hard to find an authentic peruvian restaurant. When I lived in Miami years ago, this location was a hot spot for one of the most expensive restaurants tucked away in this little spot — rumor was that US Presidents would eat there on visiting(can’t remember the name). Anyway, when I searched Peruvian and found this I was stoked. Tried the ceviche(tropical), lomo saltado, and causas. All were awesome — I had never had a tropical ceviche before, and it was a really cool flavor. My friends were surprised by the different version of ceviche Peru offers from what you typically get in the states. Went for an early lunch — probably more lively later on. Was a little empty. But the food and service were great. Maybe will go check out the night scene here. Would be a cool spot to host a party /event /birthday /whatever.

This place was so good! We decided to go since we live close and we noticed it had finally opened. We got the ceviche and the appetizer trio with sweet potato. The ceviche was absolutely wonderful, but be careful of the red sauce it’s VERY spicy! I got a creamy seafood soup which was super good, my mom got the lomo saltado which was nothing special but very tasty, the fried seafood platter and seafood and rice were all very good. Large portions! Great service. I am excited to go back and try some of their desserts. If you like ceviche this is a must!

I work over at All American Vape across the street and was very curious about this restaurant as it is so close to the store. First impression was pretty great. The place is themed very authentic. They smell was great! The staff was also very friendly. The food was reasonably priced for the portions. It was a nice change from the usual places I eat. I will be back.

The restaurant is located on 110th street off Biscayne Blvd between North Miami and Miami Shores. Living in the area, I drive past this building often. Since it opened, whenever I drive past, I do see a few people inside. We decided to try out the restaurant on a Sunday night. We were one of three tables; but there was space for many more. I didn’t expect it to be busy. The restaurant is very clean and smells great when you first walk in. I don’t mean smell great where you get a smell of food in the air, it just smelled like a fresh and clean restaurant; not chemicals, more like sweet flowers. It was pleasant. Sitting inside the restaurant was comfortable and they serve what I’d call fresh corn nuts instead of bread. I happen to love corn nuts. I am assuming this is a traditional Peruvian thing. We ordered the Ceviche to start, and opting for mild, it had some zing to it. The fish was on the undercooked side so you have white edges with a pink center. It was very good but you have to like citrus. Some people may prefer an all white fish(longer marination) without the pink center, but the texture and taste was very good as it was. For the main course we got the Lomo Saltado and some shredded chicken dish in a yellow cream sauce. Both were great and the steak was tender. Every other Peruvian place I’ve been to locally has served steak that is very tough and bland; so this was a good change. If you can get past the fact that the restaurant is not in a great location, then you should try it out. If you like Peruvian food, this place won’t disappoint you. For this location, I’d say it’s a good Sunday or weeknight place to go; I’d probably not go on a Friday or Saturday night; only because I like areas where I can people watch. I also peaked into the window of the kitchen from the parking lot to make sure things looked clean and they did. Also, I am not Latin and visit many different types of restaurants from fast food to high end«jacket required» places.
