I’m very disappointed with the breakfast here. It is located in the intercontinental hotel and is the location for their breakfast buffet. It is $ 26 and basic. Standard omelet station, fruit, cereal, and sweet bread bar. This is quite different from the other resturaunt next door inside the hotel. The toro toro next door has a taco bar buffet with all you can drink at the same price as Olé. For the price they charge for breakfast, there should be more options and unlimited mimosas.

Convenient, easy-to-access breakfast buffet located in the InterContinental Hotel Lobby behind the Toro Toro Restaurant. The restaurant was setup buffet-style and consisted of many serve-yourself stations. The buffet included an egg station, fruit/yogurt/cottage cheese station, cereal station, bread/pastry station, and the basic pre-made items like bacon, sausage, french toast, home fries, and scrambled eggs; nothing to write home about. For an anti-carb girl, it was nice to look at the variety of pastries available including Latin pastelitos, American pastries, Danish pastries, bagels, croissants, etc. even if I couldn’t partake in the goodies myself. For the hefty $ 26 price tag ++, expect unlimited juice refills and/or coffee, etc. The coffee was bitter and burnt tasting, but for a coffee drinker, bearable to get the day started. Be sure to follow it up with some better-tasting coffee at the Starbucks across the lobby. The grapefruit juice had pulp so my guest seemed happy. The service wasn’t exciting, but plates were cleared from the table in a timely manner and the food was substantial. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re staying at the hotel and can’t go too far to enjoy a good, local place down the street. Cheers.
