Oh My… sooo tiny and gets REALLY crowded… BUT the food, pasties and café con leche were wonderful… it’s VERY inexpensive and seems popular with locals, and visiting contractors/construction people and a few tourists. Seems that one lady does the order taking, cooking, clean up and cashiering too… If I was in town longer, I may have gone back for another meal… it;s next to La Granja and a car rental place… you can see it on google street view, but it can be easy to miss… If you fine it, you’ll be VERY happy!

This is the best hidden secret in downtown Miami; great food, wonderful service and excellent prices,.

I’m pleased to be the first to review Parqueo Café. This little spot is easy to miss — it appears to be part of a parking garage, and with only a discreet plastic sign inside the window, it sort of blends into the wall. Inside is homey and the kitchen looks like a kitchen in someone’s house. The woman who I usually see there is friendly and warm. Food tastes like it was made with care. I’ve stuck to the chicken with rice and salad dish — nothing fancy, but always satisfying. I’ve given minus one star, however, because service can be slow. Come here to sample a real slice of downtown Miami life. Observe construction workers from the quickly rising condo tower across the street came in to cool down with a Corona(hope they’re not operating heavy machinery). Office workers pop in and out. Friends stop by for a coffee. No flashy tourist trap here, but just good olé’ home cooking. I venture to say this is a family-run business, so come support it!
