Pizza Crek

I’ve been waiting for this location to open for months! Today was their first day open, and I think they still have a few kinks to work out.
I have very mixed feelings, so I’ll start with the good first:
Pros:
— the ham and cheese pizza (with Brazilian catupiry cheese substituted for mozzarella) was out of this world. That cheese is seriously sent from heaven. The crust is absolutely delicious, and crunchy as promised. This was definitely a winner!
— the nutella and strawberry dessert was also outrageous. So much nutella, the whole thing was really warm and delicious. Same crust as with the regular pizza, and it works just as well with something sweet. Honestly probably shouldn’t have tried this because now I’m going to want it all the time!
— the staff was very nice, friendly, and welcoming. There is a tiny bit of a language barrier — the entire staff seems to be Brazilian — he definitely speaks good English, but we had one miscommunication even after I tried to clarify something, but overall, staff was great.
Cons:
— This may be a small thing to other people, but it really made me mad. I ordered a water (a tap water), and was charged $ 2.30 for a «refill cup.» I think that water should be a complimentary beverage at any establishment. It’s just wrong to try to charge $ 2.30 for tap water! This was the miscommunication, and although he did rectify the situation by giving me cash back, he definitely did not communicate that I would be charged for tap water.
— My mother had the BBQ chicken pizza, and it was truly lackluster. It had very little flavor, and I don’t think there was actually any BBQ sauce in it.
— There is little to no seating. If this place becomes popular, it will almost definitely be takeout only.
— They need a real garbage can. They have one small garbage can, and emptying the (honestly awkwardly shaped) basket the food came in was not an easy task that required me to hold the garbage can open with my hand (I hate touching garbage cans… traumatized!).
— Plates or something would be nice. I was with my mom, so it wasn’t that big of a deal, but our three items all came in the same basket, and it was not easy to have a place to put the food down, especially when I was splitting up the dessert pizza we ordered.
Overall, I will almost certainly be eating here again, but I would probably only order for delivery, considering the water situation.
