Rude waitress… Not paying any attention to the customers. I was ordering and she was barely listening, I had to repeat the same thing to her 4 times and she still wasn’t paying attention finally just walked out.

POORPOORSERVICE!!! It’s a shame because the food and pastelitos are really good but the fact that the ladies working here are extremely rude. They don’t look at you when taking your order and if you don’t speak Spanish don’t even bother walking in here. Management should seriously consider evaluating their staff.

Good for the price. Not crazy about their pastelitos & empanadas. Papa rellena was better The café con leche is good :).

This is one of the best fly and mosquito breeders I have found in South Florida. All of their insects are well cared for and live to the ripe old age of 28 days. They Mosquitos feast on the blood of customers like myself, while the flies live off a healthy diet of Cuban tostada and pastelitos. However, this place does not advertise as a fly and mosquito breeding ground. As a bakery, Pinecrest Bakery is less than okay. It’s dirty(what, with all of the plump happy insects), the tostada was super salty and burnt, and I even had to move outdoors to eat to escape the flies sitting on my food and Mosquitos on my face. All in all, I think this place would have a full 5 star rating as breeding grounds for flies and Mosquitos. I sincerely believe that any insect I’ve ever seen outdoors originated from inside this bakery. There were less flies outdoors than there were inside. Avoid at all costs, unless you need food for your lizard or frog. Then this is the place to go.

The service is horrible. When my husband and i got there, there were two ladies a blonde girl and the lady both ignored us. Both of them were talking to each other they looked at us and kept ignoring us, ridiculous terrible, terrible service. We left without buying nothing because they just kept ignoring us and there was no one else there but us only.

Went here the other day, service was godawful to say the least. I don’t normally try new places but on this day I had to stop in on my way to work late. It was nothing like I expected and the food was terrible. It left a horrid taste in my mouth. I could barely find parking and there’s a bunch of grease laying all over the parking lot(presumably theirs) For your sake and the rest of Miamis, please do not support this restaurant.

Poor is an understatement of my experience. Literally waited 8 minutes for them to finish a casual phone call to be tended to. Then my meal… lack luster at best. Def not returning.

Not the best. Fairly average food paired with below average service. I didn’t feel valued as a customer.

The ladies here choose to be nice to the people they want to be nice at. They are EXTREMELY rude. This is another typical example of trying out a cuban place and being treated poorly because you talk to them in English. Ive been to this location when theres a rush of people and they are slow. Its like waiting for a publix sandwich when all I want is some croquettes. The food is not good enough to save them. You’ll get what you asked for. A croquette. There is nothing special about it at all. The croquettes and empanadas taste good. But don’t they all taste good enough? Save yourself the trip here and instead try special tea lounge on coral way and 108th avenue. Its a 2 minute drive from this location.

The ladies here are lovely and so kind! I drive almost 20 minutes just to go to this exact Pinecrest Bakery simply bc of the customer service they give me. They always offer to fry you anything fresh if they don’t have it out and always attentive and friendly. The place is also super clean. If you want a good experience and delicious food, especially late at night, go to this one! Good job to the management and thank you to the ladies for the lovely experience always :-)

The place is spotless! Literally! it’s probably the nicest little shop in the entire plaza. This new bakery took the spot of what used to be Quiznos in this strip mall. They must have gutted and spent some major time scrubbing cause the place is impeccable. Great presentation, good service and nice selection of all types of pies, pastries, sweets. I noticed they also have some sandwiches so I may stop in one day for lunch. Overall a nice little find in this strip to satisfy the cravings.
