Amazing food! I go there for the take rico which is devine, perfect blend of lime juice onions salt. Usually sit at the bar downstairs as the bartenders are super friendly! We had Manny the last time. Such a personable man, great conversationalist! The pisco sours are amazing too! Everything is delicious! Definitely recommend eating there you’re in the area!

Decent enough Peruvian with a few Japanese cues thrown in. Went as part of a large party for lunch and service was first rate. Quick and friendly. Atmosphere is good and you can easily hold a conversation at the table. Ordered the ¼ De Pollo a La Brasa and was a bit disappointed. Bland chicken with fries. The sauces on the side made a bit of difference but my side salad should never be more interesting than my main plate. However I think I just misordered. I tried a couple of other dishes and the Chaufa De Pollo was really good. Should have had that. The Fried Yucca was nice too. You can get better Peruvian for less in other places not too far from here but it’s saved by the staff and the ambience.

Fail service needs a better host was my first time visiting, for my nephew graduation ceremony was pushed an hour late we call 9:45 asking if we have reservation for 12 people will be make it at the door by 10 pm and person over the phone said was not a problem to come when we got to the door with all guests was disappoint your door host was rude and nasty that was to late if we arrived a minute before was ok. But they was close. Unfortunately as a customer we have a choice where to spend our money and restaurant industry is big and many more choices I will never visit or recommend your place. I work in the industry and my customers always first.

As in my previous review. –Consistently good. –Its rotisserie chicken is the closest thing to what you can find in a Peruvian rotisserie restaurant –It has many of the menu items as its sister restaurant Ceviche 105, making it a reasonable alternative 6÷1÷16: Valet parking has increased from $ 10 to $ 12(flat rate). Guess that either the owner of the restaurant or the valet service has more bills to pay. Chicken still is phenomenal

Went here based on reviews. It was our first stop in Miami. The food was delicious. I had their infamous chicken with fries. I love the different dipping sauces you get with your meal. We also ordered the steak which was good but very thin which is my only complaint. We had Helen who provided excellent service and always checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I would definitely go again.

Great food, great people, awful music tough, i know it’s a fancy spot but not everybody likes techno, i was expecting some cusco love music, food wise it was really really good, i order the spicier ceviche, it was really spot on, not too spicy, not too bitter, it was just great, even I ask my waiter about chicha morada wich is a peruvian drink, and she gave us a sample without charge, it taste really good btw, i completely recommend this place.

Last Week we went to This place for dinner, our first impression was like we were in the wrong place, the music was so boring that’s we almost cried hearing it, but when our waitress arrived she was so nice, that we forgot about the music, we wanted to have the lomo Saltado and something else but she recommended us an amazing dish with lomo Saltado and fried rice together, OMG that was amazing, delicious. We were completely satisfied. I really recommend this place, good food and an excellent service. Thank you JULIETH for your attention. Excellent service.

My first time eating at this spot(even though I work 3 min away walking distance), and it was a fantastic experience! The manager opened the door for me, giant smile on his face and asked me if I’d like to dine in. He takes me to the elevator and presses the button for me to take me upstairs. The restaurant itself has very cool décor! Bright colors and quotes and balanced by sections of black chalkboard with white writing and drawings. All the servers have excellent manners; all very polite and at the ready. First they bring out a plate with 4 sauces and a little complimentary cup of their chicken soup. It’s definitely unlike anything I’ve ever had, nice and creamy with veggies. Tasty! I had the grilled chicken breast which was perfectly tender and succulent. A spoonful of chimichurri runs along the top. It was a bit greasy for me personally, but had decent flavor. I was trying really hard to be healthy!!! But when I saw the golden potatoes on the menu, I had just had to order them! They were nice and crunchy on the outside, but soft in the center, and went well with a couple of the sauces. I had a side salad to make myself feel better. Lol! It was surprisingly good, adorned with a slice of avocado, radishes, and shaved carrots. All in all, great spot to have an indulgent lunch or dinner! I’d love to go back!

DELICIOUSPERUVIANFOOD! I have come to this location almost every time a family memebers from Peru or out of town comes through Miami. The location takes $ 10 valet because it’s on a road and Miami would not be the same without the need to have someone maneuver your car for dinning. This place though is amazing! I love the atmosphere, the color, the style and the people. Very helpful and patient– the manager of the day came personally to ask us about our experience and I had to tell Mr. Carlos Daniel that it went above our expectations. We came as a group of 7 and were sorted upstairs against the wall were we had plenty of space to accommodate ourselves and our pollo con papas y Ensalada. I recommend going traditional and getting it! Peruvian rotisserie chicken is home– it gives you the delight of sharing a meal with your loved ones that you can not get wrong. If you want to jump into adventure I would suggest the made to order ceviche. Fresh fish cut up limed up and place to eat. Ceviche is raw… The cooking comes from the lime and salt and its um um Good(if you like that sort of stuff). My father was only disappointed in one of the anticucho(heart steak) was undercooked. We usually cook them on skewers and grill them: this location serves them in a serving not on skews– tradition in Peru is on the stick. Taste was good but not a must have. House sangria which was the fruit punch, was a white wine and fruit blend. My family said next time to go with the red wine blend, although it was a sweet delightful taste they prefer the red. Overall: style, friendliness, and food gets an A+ from me. Saydi, thanks for your wonderful attention to our table you were a great waitress of our day!

I had lunch at Pollos Y Jarras on my arrival in Miami for ULTRA weekend. It was my first meal in town and it turned out to be my best meal that weekend. Keep in mind, I had most of my meals at the ULTRA venue, but I still think it’s one of the better restaurants in Downtown Miami. I had the Yucca sticks for an appetizer. They came with 4 difference dipping sauces, with individual little wooden spoons. Not only was the presentation nice, the Yucca sticks tasted great. They were crispy without being oily. One serving came with 5 sticks, which I thought was appropriate for the price(~$ 8). I ordered the ½ pollo a la brassa rotisserie chicken for my main. For $ 14, the portions were just okay. It does come with fries and a side salad, so I was quite satisfied for lunch. For those with larger appetites and for dinner, one might opt for the the full chicken. The meat was succulent and flavorful. I felt like I did not need any sauce for the chicken, but I ended up using some of the Yucca dipping sauces to go with the chicken anyways. The green chile sauce paired nicely with the chicken. The fries and salad were good and fresh, but nothing to write home about. The one thing that does stand out at Pollos Y Jarras is their service. The waitstaff is extremely well trained and polite. This surprised me somewhat, considering it’s not the fanciest of restaurants and the atmosphere is actually fairly casual. But the service was something I would expect from a fancy tableclothed restaurant. Anyways, I had a great experience at Pollos Y Jarras and would return in a heartbeat.

Husband found this place… Second meal in Miami and it was excellent!!! a mini cup of soup was delicious!!! a bigger bowl would have been nice, but that’s gluttony speakin’ ceviche mixed with anconero(limon reduction) = so good! best ceviche I’ve had in a looooong time! perfectly sour/tart and seasoned right! Our sever recommended churrasco parrillerro a la pimienta. which marinated skirt steak with some pepper sauce … Great recommendation!!! It was a little salty, but flavors were awesome. they give you four sauces and those definitely help to add more flavor to all your dishes! there a tomato/salsa sauce. it’s really tart, but it was awesome with the steak! service was great, Jerry Brown. thank you!

It’s sister restaurant usually gets the spot light But this place you definitely want to try. Besides its cool music/décor vibe our service was good, even for a busy downtown Miami night. My Peruvian dish blew me away and I wish i can remember it’s name. However, incase you think it was just me, 11 others in my group really enjoyed their meal as well… That counts for something.

I’ll make it short and to the point… It was love at first bite. The chicken is to die for and so are the the sauces they bring to the table. What I love most is that I don’t have to feel guilty for cheating on my first Peruvian love(Ceviche 105) because I can order the same ceviches and Sangria. Also, the restaurant has a very cool, unique look. Kuddos to Juan Chipoco for once again doing it right. Do yourself a favor and give Pollos y Jarras a try.

Yes that’s right 5 stars for this cool spot! This being only my second visit, but still, the great service will get you to that 5 stars. Restaurants need to hold true to excellent front of the house-keeping I joined my best friend for a late bite after the CMYE Crates event(which was awesome, review will follow). We were hungry and wanted food, not bites, but FOOD lol. After dieting for almost 3 weeks, we needed something other than low sodium seasoned grilled chicken breast or tilapia. After valet($ 10) we headed up quickly, closing time was 10pm. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable. She recommended a few dishes to share and answered all of our curious«what’s this, what’s that» questions. She also suggested the perfect sides, considering what our appetizers were. I love that. Here’s the diet damaging menu we shared Que Buenas Yucas– Crispy, I mean the exact amount of crisp. The yuca is so tender, that it feels like they make a purée first and then fry them. Must try if you love yuca frita Ensalada Del Chef Boom– Boom indeed, a bomb of deliciousness in your mouth. Every texture, sweet and savory, and refreshing. Hands down to the chef, combining mushrooms, pear, apples, cheese, pecans, cashews… I can keep going. I considered ordering a to go for lunch the next day lol. I recommend having it simple with balsamic vinegar and oil. Pucusana 105– The fish ceviche, yellow sauce, lemony goodness. Amazing, fresh fish served with red onion and a nice sized cube of pumpkin. The fish was so incredibly fresh, I couldn’t stop eating it! The size is generous, again shared and we still had left overs. Churrasco parrillero al natural | Natural — perfectly cooked churrasco topped with delicious chimichurri served with two sides. We opted for white corn and beans. The steak was delicious! So tender and juicy. I topped it with the acidic table sauce they provide for a few bites but in the end, stood for the salty savory flavor of a natural churrasco. Suspirio Traditional– yes we had room for dessert and I’m so glad we went for it. I don’t enjoy dulce de leche, but honestly it was the Italian merengue with port wine that intrigued me. I’m so glad we had this! It was very sweet, but the the merengue helped with that. It was so thick and creamy, this was very good, but must be shared, unless you have teeth that can sustain this sweetness. Come to Pollos y Jarras please, you will find something you’ll love I promise!

I just love it when my fellow Unilocalers don’t disappoint! I came here for lunch with my bestie, and they had such a long list of goodies that we didn’t know where to start. We correctly suspected that the portion sizes would be gigantic, so we shared our meals. We started with the chicken yuca fries. BTW: when you read the menu, you get the impression that the fries are going to be stuffed with the meat that you choose, but the meat is really served on the side. Either way, it was great! The fried were perfectly crispy on the outside, but soft in the middle. And the chicken was absolutely delicious! I honestly had more of that than the fries! We also got the pork sandwich(I forget what it’s called), and it was a gigantic mouthful of awesomeness! It already came split in half with a mountain of fries. The fries were okay, but the meat in that sandwich was super flavorful, and they used some sort of tangy sauce that made each bite taste like heaven. I try to get passion fruit juice every time I come back to Florida, and they have a decent one here. The only con was that our server was a bit slow when it came to checking up on our table, and the process for seating us wasn’t as polished as I’d like. The hostess was a bit rude, too. Overall, I’d definitely come back! The food is worth having to deal with mediocre service.

I would literally eat this for every meal if my wife let me! In fact, if I was forced to pick only one meal to eat for the rest of my life I would without hesitation pick the chicken from pollos y Jarras. I’ve introduced every single one of my friends to this restaurant and they’re just as obsessed as I am. Let’s get back to the meal. When you arrive to pollos your first taste of greatness will arrive to your table shortly after seating. They literally tease your tastebuds with a shot of pretty much the best soup I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten at pollos over 50 times and have never ordered anything besides the whole chicken. It’s that freaking good. Occasionally, I’ll switch up the sides but my staples are the fries(which are out of this world) or the cilantro rice. Be sure to top your chicken with with their pico, my personal favorite. This review will never do pollos justice. Their food is literally life changing and I cannot wait to introduce more of my friends and family to this spot. You’ll be obsessed, I promise.
