One of Miami’s hidden gems! The staff is warm and welcoming and the coffee is outstanding. The have a simple, healthy and delicious breakfast menu, I highly recommend the Avocado toast. A great way to start your day.

My favorite coffee shop on Brickell! I am a remote worker so this is the perfect place to work out of my laptop. Try an espresso and you’ll be happy! Talk to Machi, she’s super super nice :)

Perfect neighborhood coffee shop. Smooth and sweet latte with no need to add sugar. Friendly service and fun and funky vibe without being cluttered or painfully hip. Avocado toast had ham and greens on a toasted baguette and a correctly poached egg. No microwave breakfasts here. Can’t wait to come back and try the other options. Great gift ideas for coffee lovers as well.

I went here for coffee. I had an iced latte, which was very good. This would be an ideal place to study or to stop by for some quiet. Highly recommended.

I stopped in here the other day to grab an iced coffee and was very pleased I did! The girl at the counter was super nice and the ambience of the shop was perfect for a study break. I enjoyed the Bourbon roast coffee and it was yummy: caramel hints and rich in flavor. I will definetly be back!

I came here for the first time on a Saturday and what a treat! Anytime I go to a new place for the first time, I always ask for what they recommend. I was directed toward the Greca. This was simply the best cup of coffee I’ve had in a very long time! If you are a coffee drinker, you know that what passes for coffee here in Miami in sad. It may be strong… yes, but it is normally bitter and so sweet that you feel like you are drinking sugar. Here is where the Greca comes in! It is small, strong, and as smooth as butter. And they bring it out to you in the cutest little ceramic cup and dish with a wooden spoon. The coffee here is apparently 70% less acidic than any other roasted coffee, and has seven times the antioxidant level of green tea. Sometimes coffee does give me heartburn, especially strong coffee, but after tasting this wonder in a cup, I had no such complaint. Although it’s the coffee here that’s the star, I also had the chicken salad on a bed of greens which was quite tasty. The shop is small, and the décor is very charming… it reminds you of being somewhere far away. They also had nice music playing in the background. This would be a great place to come and meet up with friends or get some work/studying done. They are a welcome addition to Brickell!

LOVE this place! I had a lox croissant and an iced vanilla latte and both were amazing. The lox croissant was seriously delicious! The employees were super friendly as well. The place was quiet on a Wednesday morning and I imagine that if I lived in the area this would be somewhere where I would want to come and work during the day.

Amazing coffee! The flavor is incredible. Finally a place worth going for coffee in Brickell! The owner is extremely nice /makes you feel at home. The décor is eclectic and warm — table tops and furniture from 1900’s wooden and metal antiques, modernized gas lamps. everything is so unique. Really loved this place. Vintage movie nights, poetry nights, live music nights. And it’s in a strip of old buildings surrounded by modern high rises — where the oldest bar in Miami used to be. Can’t wait to go again today!

This coffee shop is exactly what Brickell needs. The atmosphere is perfect for getting some work done or enjoying your coffee for a bit. And the coffee itself was excellent, I love that its less acidic and you can really taste the difference. I brought my grandma some of the k-cups and I have the ground coffee at my house now, and everyone loves it. The guy at the register was super friendly and told us way more than was necessary about the coffee but I love that he was so enthusiastic and not pretentious at all. They have a little jar of lemon water which is a nice touch. I’ll try the food next, everything looks awesome! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Full five-star fan. As a grad student, I’m always looking for new places to replace my office, and this coffee shop has become my new favorite spot. The attention is exceptional and the food is fresh and delicious. I usually don’t drink much coffee, instead, I order tea. They really make an effort in the way they serve their products, and I appreciate that. The space is beautiful and clean, perfect if you need to get some work done. Music is soft and welcoming, and the prices are low compared to other coffee shops in the area. This is my neighborhood and I love that we have new small businesses like this one coming and trying to provide a more personal experience. Also, the AC will not freeze you(as it usually is the case in Starbucks).

After being disappointed with Havana Coffee company having a new management, my morning off weeks ritual, of a walk to the parks followed by coffee was totally in a limbo, as I am a creature of habit and I don’t like change in routine. That being said, I was looking for a place to replace it, and I tried starbucks for sometime(And I still go there once in a while, shhhh) but the business, and commercialness of the locations were not doing it for me. I came across Puroast because of friends that had mentioned it and definitely was happy to find a new spot. I usually get iced coffee after a walk and their bourbon pecan is delicious, and they also have flavors of the week which I just discovered today, and tried chocolate almond which was great too! They have a little card that if you get it punched enough you can have a free coffee! The place has a cool ambience, laid back, painted table tops, with relaxing music, you’ll find people in here potentially working on their laptops or reading a book. I really like this place and have to study for subspecialty boards soon and might consider making this my area of refuge when I’d like to study. PS, I loved the fact that the barista recognized me and remember what I ordered just from yesterday. I can go to coffee places daily and order the same thing daily and people make mistakes or don’t remember… That gives it an extra star! Also it’s priced decently.

This place is great. They know how to roast well and pull a balanced shot. Would highly recommend. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can learn a lot and build a good jittery buzz hanging around here. Must visit if you’re in the area.

One word! Greca :) What a fantastic coffee experience in new hot spot café in Brickell. The quaint shop is just off the corner across from the new shopping center that is set open soon. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will admit I did not know what a Greca was until I had one today but it as just as powerful as a Cuban coffee and delivered a smooth finish with 7 times more antioxidants than green tea. I highly recommend trying this new blend if you haven’t already Delish :)

Cute atmosphere and espresso cups, the build out is done very nicely. Employees offered essentially a zero experience. The coffee that is roasted in California… Leaves much to be desired. Perhaps it’s a Sunday/chance thing… But we wouldn’t find our way back here. There are other too many other coffee shops to choose from that rock locally roasted coffee and offer an authentic experience. Oh, the commercials that play over the radio are super tacky.

So happy to have another coffeeshop added to the Brickell scene! Located next to River Oyster Bar and the former Tobacco Road(RIP), Puroast is a nice addition to the area. Parking can be found around back. The first time I went, it was free for an hour but I had to pay a few bucks last time. A little confusing and seems poorly run. There’s street parking nearby but it can all be a little hectic with the surrounding construction. If you can walk, that’s probably ideal! Once you walk in, you find a cute coffee haven that transports you to the rainforests of Latin America. Both times I’ve visited, I’ve opted for a macchiato and the quality of the coffee is very good. There is a variety of seating all around, making it a good spot to hunker down to work or take meetings. I haven’t tried any of the food yet but definitely intrigued by the menu! The staff is friendly but have been a little slow and unresponsive when trying to order. I’m sure it’ll grow into itself and become a hotspot in this area that will continue to evolve as all the pesky construction finishes up!

Coffee flavor is great. They say it’s 70% less acidic than regular coffee which was appealing to me since I struggle with inflammation. It was strong in terms of its caffeine effects and yet I didn’t crash. The almond croissant was DELICIOUS. I’m completely sold. Our friends got the mocha and were told that they use Godiva chocolate!!! Sold again. Really cute ambiance. Colorful & vibrant. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee and good customer service. I loved that they had almond milk too. I’m a local and will definitely come back. Starbucks just got trumped. Lol

Puroast Coffee opened recently adjacent to Brickell City Center. The environment was quiet, cozy, and staff was welcoming. Today I got a hot caramel latte which was tasty. At this point, the menu and hours are limited due to construction but it’s safe to assume both will expand soon. The interior is designed well and has a unique look.

Always happy to see new coffeeshops opening in town. Traffic should pick up a lot here when Brickell City Center opens later this year. Right now there is a lot of construction around and can be difficult to get to with road closures, etc. But if you find it, it’s a nice surprise. Very homey, great service and the coffee is pretty good too. Check it out.

Newly opened Puroast has situated itself right next to what was once Tobacco Road. It’s only been open for a few weeks but has already garnered its own cult following among residents of Brickell. With all the construction planned for the Miami Worldcenter, it’s likely to blow up and become a local rival for Pasion del Cielo and national nemesis of Starbucks. The setting is decorated as such to remind you of a Venezuelan hacienda. Draped in wicker and flowers, this coffeehouse invites you to come with your friends and have a chat over coffee or even get some work done with the free wifi at your hands. Not to mention, the pastries and sandwiches are unheard of in your up and coming coffee shops in Miami. Some highlights include the chicken salad on ciabatta(also available in a wrap) and the manchego and Serrano pinxo. As far as coffee goes, baristas here are quick to recommend the greca. The greca resembles your local favorite Cuban style of coffee but you are invited to try it minus the absurd amounts of sugar and in a ceramic cup for one or to share with a friend. Don’t let the nearby construction deter you trying out this new spot! There’s plenty of street parking and coffee brewing to fuel your day.
