How is this page not bursting with five-star reviews? I usually catch this sorbet truck at Margaret Pace Park. I believe the girl working the truck told me they’re at the park everyday except Monday and Friday from about 4 – 8. After a nice walk, this is the perfect treat, The fresh sorbet feels like more of a mix of shaved ice and ice cream. I’ve tried a range of flavors, and they’re all excellent. Champagne Strawberry, Key Lime-Mango(with bits of graham cracker crust), Arnold Palmer, Passion Fruit-Mango, and Ginger Watermelon. Everything is certified organic and all that, so no worries for the vegans and… organicans? Anyway, go find this truck and get yourself a scoop or two. Next time I’m getting a PINT.

What a happy surprise that I found Real Sorbet at the Food Trucks on Saturday night. I was there for Mac’n, and once we were done with all the nomming there, we were on a quest for a vegan friendly dessert. At Real Sorbet, I tasted the Chocolate Coconut(awesome – that’s what I got) and the Mango(also awesome – that’s what I’m probably getting next time). I came home and checked out their website, which is great and listed above, but you MUST check out their tumblr – http://realsorbet.tumblr.com/ – watch the video about how the Chocolate-Coconut sorbet is made, you’ll want some immediately, I swear! Seriously, it doesn’t get much more awesome than this for a health-conscious environmentally-minded vegan-foodie-with-a-sweet-tooth: Organic? Check. Local? Check. Dairy Free? Check. Totally Delicious? Check. And even if you’re not a health-conscious environmentally-minded vegan-foodie-with-a-sweet-tooth, you should totally support Real Sorbet – they’re doing a great thing and they’re doing it in a VERY yummy way! Enjoy!

I had the opportunity to taste these yummy, frosty sorbet’s…all I can say is WOW. satisfies a sweet tooth with a dairy free, organic, clean and refreshing treat. And, how entertaining are this creative, cool couple from New York? So cool. They actually go to the farms and hand pick the organic fruit for their sorbets. The sorbets are then hand made using only the best ingredients. check them out and learn all about the beautiful bounty of chemical free, exotic fruit available in our area!
