The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because they can be inconsistent. If you get there bright and early when everything is freshly made, everything is great. Get there around noon and you’re stuck with leftovers. My only other gripe is that all Cuban bakeries seem to use the same disgusting ham. I won’t knock a star for it since it seems to be an industry trend and not a Ricky trend.

Love their pastelitos and café con leche! You can’t prob go wrong when it comes to this bakery. They have awesome party packages too. Only reason I didn’t choose them for my last event was because the package I liked the most only had bandejas of 25 pieces of whatever you chose and my party had a lot of invitees. Otherwise it was a no brainer as their food tastes awesome. Great service.

We were having a big party that night and we went to buy some pastries for dessert after the cook-out. The place was packed with customers. We of course cannot go into a Cuban bakery and not have a pastelito and cortadito. They have little tables were you can enjoy form s little snack to a meal. The pastries that we bought were a hit that night. A very good bakery. 12÷19÷13

Best Cuban bakery in Miami! The pastelitos are always fresh and perfectly caramelized on the top and flaky! The croquetas are perfect. The sweet ham and Swiss cheese croissant are to die for. The toast it on the plancha and voila. warm gooey cheesy crosiant-wich. this is my favorite bakery not only in my area but in all Miami!

The best Colada/Cuban coffee! Tons of pastelitos and pastries, Ricky Bakery brought me delight in every sip and bite. Everything is beautifully displayed in a venue that immediately makes you forget that you’re in a bustling strip mall … modern and clean dark wood décor and dim lighting that allow your eyes to relax. My friend introduced me to this spot and despite his heads-up about the line often being out the door, we were lucky and experienced a wait that was just long enough to allow me to check everything out. The specialty cakes sound amazing … butter cream, dulce de leche, rum cakes, cappuccino sponge cake, and more to choose from; their daily and catering menus are expansive and they’re open every day. I will definitely make the drive to the 305 to visit again. A fine fine bakery indeed!

This was my first time getting anything from here. I actually ordered a custom birthday cake. It was a risk since I had never tasted anything from this bakery. I originally went to the Ricky Bakery on 120th St, which is aesthetically nicer and much more spacious than this one on Bird Rd., but the one on 120th sent me to this one because the staff told me they don’t make the cakes there. I am giving this bakery 3 stars because I did not find the staff to be neither professional nor helpful, and the bakery does not seem to be organized in terms of custom cake ordering, however I was pleasantly surprised with the final results of the cake. Nicely finished and it did taste very good. I ordered a two story buttercream, vanilla cake(with vanilla custard filling). It was light and not overly sweet. My party guests liked it! If you need a nice cake, but don’t want to pay too much for a fondant one or one from an expensive bakery, this place works.

This is a must for anyone visiting Miami. I can honestly say that I don’t miss much of the new Miami but this is a part of my old home town and culture that warms my hart and fills my tummy with sweet Cuban goodness! Every time I visit this place I feel like I’m in the Miami of my youth when traffic wasn’t crazy and crime wasn’t everywhere you turned in the magic city! The absolute best pastelitos de queso and/or guava in Miami! The croqutas de jamon are really good as well! Oh yeah, can anyone say GREATCUBANSANDWICH? Thank God they have a number of locations to get your sweets fix! I am visiting the Bird Rd &127 location, but, if you can’t visit this one then you can visit Sunset &117th ave, Coral way &32 ave or 120 street and 136 Ave. I could write a book on the feelings of nostalgia when I visit but I might just cry! :) Ricky you rock bro! Thanks for a great little piece of Heaven on Earth!

Hands down BEST guava pastries in Miami and I know my guava pastries. It is worth the drive from anywhere in Miami if you have to have a guava pastry fix. lol AND they are inexpensive. When I take them to work, everyone jumps for joy! I buy 2 dozen and freeze them. They are GREAT for eating right out of the freezer. YUMMY

The absolute best pastelitos de queso in Miami! The croqutas de jamon are really good too. Of course, nothing beats homemade croquetas, but these are definitely the best from any bakery that I have tried. They have a small area with tables as well which is not very comon for most bakeries.

Can you say cheap, savory and satisfying? Ricky Bakery is the place to hit on the weekend or for an early morning café con leche before going to work! These are the BEST pastelitos in town! From the coconut pastelitos to the chocolate senoritas, you can’t go wrong at anyone of the Ricky Bakeries in town.(Sunset &117th ave, Bird Rd &127, Coral way &32 ave or 120 street and 136 Ave)

This place gets packed on weekend mornings! I would recommend going with someone that speaks Spanish as I felt I was taken advantage of by the language barrier. I have gone before with my boyfriend that spoke Spanish and the bill came out to significantly less when he ordered than when I did… Hmm. I must admit they do make a good Café con Leche and have a wide variety of «pastelito’s». I am not a huge sweets person so I enjoyed the spinach one.

I love this place almost as much as I love the one in the Gables, but this one always has a ridiculous line on Saturday mornings and the ladies that work there– you have to work to get them to smile at you. otherwise, top-notch.
