Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus

After staying away from circuses for years, we gave in and went with a friend this year. No idea how much the admission was going for since we got invited to a suite for free.
It was kind of boring and you can’t help but wonder and think about the stories of the animals being abused during training.
They had acrobatics, clowns, rope walkers, bicicle acts, woman shot out of a cannon, dogs, tigers, camels and a small act with elephants. Lots of colors and music.
Food and drinks at the AAA are always overpriced.
Do not foresee another circus visit anytime soon.

Our family and I absolutely loved the show! The animals were absolutely beautiful and it was amazing to see the elephants before they are no longer a part of it. The acrobatics were amazing! The 16 tigers to one tamer was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen. It is really worth going to see this show.

The show was enjoyable but the prices for the food where outrageous I felt like I got rapped every time I turned around they charged me $ 24 for a happy meal size burger with fries and a Coke and $ 14 for cotton candy pretty steep if u ask me, but good show my family enjoyed it.

This years Xtreme show was fun, innovative, entertaining, and comical. The animals and persons were all a delight to watch. Very talented. They made great improvements to last years show. And it was educational too!
We were at the American Airlines Arena at a 7pm show on a Thursday. The performers related to the audience — children and adults.

I wouldn’t call it the greatest show on earth but it was entertaining. Maybe they could use some help with coreography and storyline but the performers were plenty and enjoyable. I was suprised of how often the trapeze artists fell off; left you definitely glad there was a net for them to fall on while at the same time making you feel as if you were watching amateurs versus professionals. Alexander Lacey was amazing and all the performers jumping thru 10 feet high rings was spectacular.

The saddest show on earth is right. Was hoping for more of a circle de soiel experiece but instead its smelly aminals (who are probably mistreated and miserable) with a dirty mix of performers in a venue that needs some holes patched and a deep cleaning. Definitely I recommend a more modern circus, such as cirque or one of the more theatrical and acrobatic based varieties. Ringling should have gone away years ago

After wading through all the Animal Activists posted right outside, and after shielding my children’s ears from horror stories of elephants being tazered and tortured I was relieved to be finally inside.
This is the second time in 2 years I’ve been here and I must say this years blah compared to last year.
I don’t think it’s worth the $ 48.00 for terrible seats… And I was wallet raped at every turn. $ 8.00 for popcorn, $ 9.00 for a small pizza! The program was $ 15.00 which is the only thing ill buy.
Last year was Dragons and this year was «Built to Amaze». Andre McClain was this years Ringmaster, and does an excellent job. The lions were missing this year as were the Shaolin Warriors and the fantastic Dragon Riders.
This year focused more on Acrobats, performers, a lot of dancing and gymnastics. At times I felt like I was at a Vegas Show. The kid next to me begged his mother to take him home. I forced my kids to stay only because I’m a die hard and paid a fortune.
I went to the Hialeah Fair over Christmas and they had a makeshift circus which was free– my kids enjoyed that more than this.
next time ill save my mula for a rainy day.

This is the most disgusting, inhumane, horrific show that should be banned. Do not see the Ringling Bros! You are supporting animal torture, abuse and murder. Hundreds of animals have died in their care. There are hundreds of footage of animals being beaten until they bleed, electrocuted, and shot as part of training and punishment. Baby elephants are snatched form their mother, tied and slammed into the ground and beaten with bull hooks in order to mold them at a young age. It is not natural for a giant elephant to walk on a tight rope and they go through hell to learn that! In Nov 2011 they were fined $ 270,000 by the USDA in countless cases of animal cruelty. I’ve been to a lot of circuses. My grandfather loves them and they are some of his best memories of when he was a child. So as a treat, I took him to FULLY CHARGED.
The ticket prices were pretty expensive, which probably led to the small-​ish crowd. Despite the fact that it’s easy to get an «I’ve seen it all before, what with YouTube and what not» attitude, it’s still cool to see wire walkers, jugglers, strong men and acrobats right in front of your face.
Yes, clowns are kind of lame. And eight dollars for a box of pre-​popped popcorn is very lame. But getting to check out tigers and elephants before it starts is cool and something I would have been into as a kid.

Last time I went to the Circus to watch the Ringling Brothers was like 10 years ago or more! I had forgotten how the show was. I just remember many shows going on at the same time!
Now the Arena has been transformed into a Circus playground! There is a circus ambiance, people selling popcorn, food everywhere, people taking pictures, animals, clowns and lots of activities going around! It’s fun to be a part of it, so many things to see! Cool for families and people of ALL ages… just like the Circus says… Boys & Girls of ALL AGES!
Lions, elephants, motorcycles, acrobats, the circus has gone wild!!!
The show is in town till the 17 of January! Enjoy the show! Prices are very affordable, they range from $ 17 to $ 100!
