Ok food, expensive prices and staff is a bit standoffish. The boss boy hates his job. Never says thank you, my pet peeve. My mom makes better Chilean food.

Fantastic food, great price, and awesome service. I wish I knew our waitress’ name, she was young and pretty and learning English. I have never had such great and personalized service before. She totally rocked! Highly recommend.

Not bad little place — can beat the wine prices! Bought a $ 12.99 bottle of carmenere reserve !

This place is nice and cozy. Perfect for a quick lunch. It’s also very inexpensive. The PRICIEST bottle of wine is 24 $! I recommend trying the spinach and ricotta baked empanadas to start. Follow it up with a churrasco sandwich with green beans. Don’t forget to add pevre(a spicy tomato-based sauce that is included with your meal) to everything! To drink try the mango milk shake or enjoy some wine!

It is a definitely hidden gem behind the Sedano’s plaza. I ordered tallerines con carne. The spaghetti was overlooked(very hard). Almost like they used the pasta from the night before and the meal was microwaved. The empanadas was good but the skin was a bit thick. I like the Argentinian empanadas much more. We also ordered the chicken breast dish which was very good! The chicken was tender and juicy. I might come back just to try other things. Make sure you look at the bill because a 15% gratuity was automatically added whether you are a party of one or four.

Upon walking into Sabores Chilenos, we were greeted by many eyes, locked on ours. Uh oh, what did we walk into? Well, those eyes quickly returned to their own meals and we were greeted by a very attentive and joyful host. Honestly, everything about this place was so, so, so good. I had never visited a Chilean restaurant and I was very pleasantly surprised. We went with the empanada de pollo(chicken empanada) and empanada de marisco(seafood empanada) to start. Both of them were baked and delicious, full of flavor and tasted very fresh. Add their tomato/cilantro/hot sauce on it and it really rounds out all of the flavors. A+ We skipped the Pisco and went with a nice Cab, don’t regret that choice at all. Pisco is great, but the wine really brought a lot to the main dish: Steak Sandwiches. I know what you’re thinking, but please get the steak sandwiches here. The bread is the same style as the one you are given when you sit down, and it comes with tomatoes, avocado, mayonnaise(freshly made themselves), steak(obviously), and you can always add more of the hot sauce!(please, do it). The prices are very good, and the food is even better. I am already craving their bread and sandwiches. I will be returning here very soon!

Nice restaurant topped with all chilean delicacies and typical dishes you can ask for. Next door they have a small shop where you can buy all chilean typical dishes and groceries which you cannot find anywhere else.

Once we walked in we were greeted kindly and sat immediately. After looking over the menu we decided the 2 completo kids meal and a lomito(I can’t remember what my boyfriend ordered). Apparently they had just received their lomito and it would have to be cooked for about 3 hours so I had to order chacarero al plato. The bread they brought it was awesome it was hot and soft and it went great with the salsa(the BEST part of our meal)!!! The kids food came out quickly but all it was was a plain hot dog and fries!!! For $ 6 something not even a topping on the hot dog. When we asked for ketchup the waitress said they were out and gave us the last bit left it was like smearing ketchup just to make it go further. When I attempted to cut it the bread was so hard I had to lie to my kids and say it was toasted lol. Our food came out my bf had a steak with egg and fries, his looked pretty good. My plate looked decent but nothing out of this world, pretty bland. Again the salsa saved the day. Don’t get me wrong the food was not bad but it was not worth going back. Especially after the check definitely not worth what we received. We never even got extra napkins, or water(we both had beer). I give them a 3 bc it was a decent lunch but we won’t be going back. Sucks because I really was excited to try the lomito and a real completo.

Authentic Chilean food. The staff knows the menu and very cognizant of their wine. Mostly quiet UNLESS is soccer season which they follow in which case, you may expect a crowd and some noise in this otherwise quiet, tiny neighborhood restaurant. Have the seafood soup; it’s fantastic! Or try their empanadas for a treat. For dessert I recommend a meringue type pie_delicious!

Very good Chilean food(empanadas, machas a la parmesana, pastel de choclo) and excellent, well-priced wine(Viu Manent Gran Reserva). Not giving 5 stars because they didn’t bring a detailed receipt, they charged an extra item, and they didn’t make clear that the gratuity was already included. It may have been an honest mistake and they promptly refunded the difference.

Delicious food at decent prices. One of the best options in the area. They have dishes you can’t get anywhere else, very authentic.

great service. very attentive. i ordered the thin churrasco but should have ordered the fried merlusa with mashed potatos! side order of fries were great as well. oranage juice was very fresh. not very common to find freshly squeezed orange juice as many restaurants water it down. restaurant is located in the back of the shopping center. love the hole in the wall places! will definitely be returning for the merlusa!

Tiny gem. This place is out of sight, but definitely a place to check out. The food is VERY fresh. If you are looking for good fresh dishes, this is the place… There isn’t much of an ambiance for romance, but instead this is a great place for lunch as the sandwiches are AMAZING. Everything I believe is made in house so it taste very very fresh

Sabores Chilenos Today I went to visit the restaurant Sabores Chilenos for the first time. The food was very good and the desserts. We went in a group and we ordered empanadas de queso, carne, marisco con queso, bread, Chilean wine. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. I will be back.

Overall: There are not many Chilean restaurants in Miami, but comparing Sabores Chilenos to other restaurants in its category, it’s a great place to eat and try some different style dishes. The Food: Everything(from my experience) is super fresh and delicious. They have different style cuisine that leaves you just a bit curious about their other dishes. A popular appetizer is their asparagus soup, which is absolutely delicious! If you are here then you must try it! The Service: The staff is very friendly, and attentive; however they primarily speak Spanish, so if you come here be prepared to speak in Spanish — even though I am sure they understand English.

Very good Chilean food, the best in Miami. They have specialties that I love, like porotos granados, biste a lo pobre, machas a la parmesana, empanandas de carne, pollo, mariscos y queso. Most of the people that work there are family of the owner that I know for almost 20 years, we are not friends, but I remember her and her family working to get this restaurant going when they started. Service sometimes gets a little sluggish if they are busy, but this semester my schedule at the University is weird so I get to go at odd times, so I don’t have that issue. When I need to get a reminder of my home food, this is the first place that comes to my mind, good old comfort food from my home.

Neat hidden gem in south Florida. There is a restaurant in the front and a small bodega in the back. The first thing I ordered was pisco sour, and I swear it tasted like heaven. I might be coming back just for it. I had also ordered their ceviche and it was also amazing, but not as memorable as the drink =} The salad they put in the center of the table(pebre I think its called) was a great and unique appetizer. The only reason why I am knocking off a star is because we had bough anafres from the bodega and they were stale =/but I will most definitely be back in order to try out the other deserts in their menu.

Ok. I held off on writing this review because I am new to the Chilean world and this was my first time in a Chilean restaurant and I wanted to wait to eat at a different one before I reviewed. I really did not care for this place. They had one poor woman working the front of house and by the way the food came out… not enough people in the back of house. Started off with seafood empanadas. The seafood in it was very very minced and it had quite a bit of lemon juice in it because it was sour. Not very appetizing at all. We had also ordered an Humita, which is like their tamal. That did not come until the middle of our meal but the flavor was very good! For the main course I had fried white fish and rice. The rice was sticky but alright. The fish was very crunchy but I did not care for the fish itself. It was a bit dry and fishy. My BF ordered what looked to be a corn soup with pumpkin and beans. Nothing to write home about. He got his meal about 10 minutes after I got mine. I was noticing the same issue at the other tables. After going to the other Chilean restaurant I can now say I’ve had better.

I’ve been coming to eat here since I was young lad. The place is located in Sweetwater and it’s probably one the older chilean places that have been around Miami. One of the highlights to have are the following: — cheese or beef empanada(just one 1 beef empanada if you want to eat some other dish… they are big) — try any of the house specials(if you like to try something different, do it!). The food is homemade. — Barros Luco(includes beef and melted cheese) or a Chacarero(same as luco but will include tomatoes and green beans). — un completo(a chilean style hot dog) — add the homemade salsa(‘pebre’…a slight kick) they give to everything and ask for a lot of it… The service can get really slow, so prepare to stay a bit longer than expected at times. However, the people are nice. Lastly, they do have a small market where you can buy bread(highly recommended) and empanadas to go. Also, check out the other delicious pastries they got! Overall, the food is Chilean and not exactly how it tastes like back in Chile, but it’s not bad… its tasty…
