Rude employee with Bluetooth headset in her ear refused to answer a direct and simple question.

I don’t understand why people give this gas station a bad review. I’ve been to tons of gas stations and this is the only one that has stuck. With it’s quick service I’ve never had to wait longer than a minute, and sure there might be another place where the gas is cheaper however, I feel very comfortable enough to pump gas without being harassed inside or out.

I honestly don’t understand the poor ratings. I never had a problem here. Lines are not long unless theirs an event going on in Coconut Grove but that’s understandable. They have a wide variety of snacks as well as a small deli inside. There’s several pumps available and even a BOAATM machine.

Pump gas as fast as possible. If you think you can make it to another gas station to it! If you gotta risk it. Open the door to your tank, with your debit card in hand, pump your gas while looking around you. Take note of everything. Don’t smile at anyone because that makes them think it’s okay to walk up on you at 1am?!? If you have pepper spray make sure the safety is off. You are getting raped at the tank by the oil/gas companies. Be safe so nothing worst happens.

This has to be the worst gas station south of Flagler Street. Oh, it «looks» reasonably convenient. It’s right on the corner of 27th Avenue and US1. There are plenty of pumps, and there seems to be a lot of space. Inside, there also seems to be a nice convenience store. They even offer made-to-order sandwiches. That’s the good. Or at least what seems to be the good. Seems to be, yes, but I think you’d be wrong. The place is always crowded. Why, I have no idea — the prices aren’t that great. OK for Coconut Grove, perhaps, but a mile north or south, and you can find better prices. Shell prices are always higher… for what? Use your debit or credit card here. Don’t go inside and buy anything. It will take you forever. The people at check-out are slow, and the customers here are even slower, a bunch of knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing morons who will hold you up as they buy cigarettes and Cash 3 tickets. Plus, you’ll want to keep a close eye on your car. Don’t leave it unlocked, even while pumping gas. There are always shady characters ambling around this place, and I’ve known a couple people who left their car doors unlocked, and had things stolen. Avoid.

–prices are average for the area –decently easy to get in and out –lots of pumps… but people can be a little crazy driving around in here Never been in the store, it looks big inside if you need a quick snack or beverage.
