The lady that was making sandwiches and serving as a cashier grabbed money and coins with the same gloves she was making my sandwich and used the same gloves to make the next persons sandwich !!! Disgusting

Yaaahhh… This week’s employee doesn’t understand English. If I’m speaking to you in English, then why would one keep replying in Spanish?

I hadn’t been to this Subway in a while and I remember why now! The service in the AM is always crappy. I decided to stop in on my way home from work this AM. It was 0810 and the door closest to the handicapped parking was locked. I was about to leave thinking they might be closed, but the strong smell of bread and the two cars in the lot made me think they had to be open. I went to the side door, which was open and the middle aged Hispanic lady who saw me walk in ignored me and continued to stock up whatever she was stocking. I paused for 30 seconds, then loudly said«Good Morning» as she was now out of sight. No answer, I guess her stocking duties are more important than the customers that pay her check. Another 30 seconds pass, so I tap on the glass with my keys and again call out. She comes back into sight and continues to stock still ignoring me. I say Good Morning again and let her know I am ready to order. She then saunters over and acts like she is doing me a favor by taking my order. I decide to try an egg sub for the first time. I asked if they used real eggs and she points to a pan of pre made«omelets». They look a little old, so I asked if she could make it fresh. Oh dear… that brought forth more attitude. Thankfully, there was another container full of the same omelets so she served me from there. I order my ham, egg, and cheese sub. She quickly slaps on the egg and cheese before I get a chance to ask for mayo. I don’t dare interrupt Miss Attitude, as it seems she has some sort of time limit to get this sub done! I decide I will get the mayo added later. She then throws the sandwich in the micro without the ham. I figure she will add the ham soon… No. She grabs it from the micro and heads for the veggies. I remind her about the ham, and she throws the cold ham on the sandwich without offering to reheat it. I suggest she heats it again, but she says she can’t. I get some onions on the sub and ask for a packet of mayo to go. She says they don’t have any and doesn’t offer to put any on the sandwich. I decide I will add the mayo at home. Miss Attitude rings up my sandwich and has the nerve to sarcastically tell me «you’re welcome» as she hands me my receipt. Was I supposed to thank her for her crappy service? LOL. I decide to report her to customer relations, and they let me know this Subway is independently owned. Good to know! I won’t patronize them anymore. There are two other Subways within a mile or two of this one. I will stick with the Subway on 152 Street and 112 Ave.

This place is pretty good. I’ve gone here several times because it’s located close to a Pet Supermarket and OfficeMax. The people working there are pretty friendly. One time I went in asking for a bowl of soup and one of the employees was like I would give it to you but we don’t have lids. I can put it in a coffee cup for you. She was being honest and trying to help. So she got bonus points for that. I would recommend people to come here because there’s hardly ever a line. Maybe you’ll get one or two people ahead of you but this place is quick and easy – in and out!
